Sorry dude but that won't be very good. Sonic's entire gameplan is to bait and punish and he will have to camp to do so. Playing aggressive is fun for clips but a good sonic player camps.

You could also back Air or Foward Air depending on what you'd like to do after the combo. If you want them to get away Back air is the best option with foward air being easy to keep the combo going
You can do any aerial after the falling up air instead of nair. You can even do spring ride off of this combo

Thanks for the combo. This really helps. But what I’ve seen is instead of an up air you could go for a back air to give distance between you and the opponent. This gives sonic more options because he’s further away and the opponent is left there guessing, but the other thing is you have to sacrifice 10% to do that.

I'm new to sonic and I been using sonic in training mode for 2 hrs and I'm used to his moves and how it works. I did this combo on a level 9 DK and it worked but I use another up air at the end of the combo and I got 56.4%. Thanks so much for helping me, means a lot.

Yo clockwork your pretty good we met a couple times on quickplay and did some sonic didos. Ggs man so much fun playing against a sonic that actually knows his stuff.
As a sonic main for some years now, I can say this is an awesome combo. Still, it has some flaws.
I've noticed that if your opponent is over 5% and up to 15% damage, this combo will not be able to be completed.
So I came up with an idea...when you've got your opponent at this range you can try Down B > and: (instead of trespasing your enemy and Neutral B, AKA Hooming attack) do the turn back hooming attack. It is also on this channel. After you've done this combo you can perform a BackAir
And this, (depending on the initial damage%) can deal from 45 to 50%
I've also tried some other combos but for now this is the one I'm sure and proud of.
That combo what sick I wanna see that in a Sonic Montage. If you step it up it will be better then ever!
You know what would be really amazing to see? a sonic amiibo trained by you. (maybe named 'Light Speed,' or to stick with the Clockwork theme, 'High Gear')

Non campy Sonic is fun
You have to be super precise with the double full hop nair for it to true combo. Back air is apparently true with god-like timing, but I’ve never gotten it.
i haven't fully mastered the combo but i'm getting pretty good at doing a slightly weaker version of it
spindash - homing attack - uair - short hop uair
Great vid but when I the spin dash I pass through and the animation for neutral special doesn’t come out

i actually get this combo consistently online, ive practiced it for so long that its muscle memory now.
i also mix it up with the final hit to either get more damage or a kill
sometimes i do spring ride since its fun
Getting an add on to display your inputs on a virtual controller would be very useful for these kinds of videos.

To add on to that combo you could do fair into homing attack after the double jump nair.
To get more out the backair run up to where they land and do an uncharged up smash to get 85 or so. If you do a double jump back air after the upsmash you'll get around 100% or so.
Another thing to do out of the upsmash is double jump forward air. Then go to ledge, short hop offstage making sure that Sonic is facing away from the enemy, then backair.
Doing that killed the DK I was practicing on so guess I turned a 0 to 50 to a 0 to death which is very nice!

Labbed this a bit, i found that against K Rool you don't need the double jump and the up air and even confirm into a back air

Btw,i dont know if you already find out but you can do the same combo on King K.Roll and it leaves 60% of damage,try it out
You can also go for a second up-air instead of a Neutral-air. And if you can’t hit the up-air when you homing attack you could instead do back-air or maybe do neutral-air instead of the first up-air
Well sonic has alot of mixups but these would make the combo not true.
