I’ve said it before on other videos covering this mod, but if dark Samus had that moveset instead of her default, she would be a much more unique character and it fits her design incredibly well.

On top of this, she gained some of Samus's DNA via the suit, so even if she wasn't female prior to becoming Dark Samus, she's at least pseudo female now

Nah, this is way more interesting for my money. Byleth's weapon swapping is only interesting visually, their actual playstyle is not new or novel at all.
My one criticism is that swapping character animations around doesn’t make them “new moves.” It’s stuff like ZSS having her jab changed to her grab pummel that makes the mod look awkward. Also with Snake, a gun isn’t held close to your body, it’s held away from it.

Barrel for DK's side special looks a lot more natural than I thought it would. It makes a lot of sense conceptually but I could never picture it looking right until now lol.
Thoughts: Mario's "galaxy" spin attack should work like the cape and turn opponents around since the cape is omitted from the moveset. I feel like making Toad an attack kinda devalues the use it had since it's just an Ok attack now, but I guess that's subjective. Be neat if Daisy's dice dealt 1-10 damage (and would display on the dice visually with different colors based on how high the number is.) With 10 specifically having extra knockback and 1 having a spike effect. Overall I'm pretty alright with a good amount of these changes but Mario's changes are definitely my favorite.
I feel like a lot of these moves are changed only for the sake of being changed. Some changes even seem to be worse than the original moves. Some examples: As much as I would love to see Mario get reworked to include moves inspired by Galaxy and Odyssey, completely removing Cape, his best gimping tool, is not the way to do it. Perhaps the grounded Side B can be worked into his Dash Attack, and the aerial version implemented as a variation to his Up B. There was absolutely no reason to change ZSS's Jab to that puny knee attack. Completely unnecessary and objectively worse. Strange to see DK's bair changed to that awkward looking punch. And it turns him around!? No more early wall of pain kills for DK, cause clearly, he didn't need that. Although Peach doesn't really rely on her counter for success, completely removing it in exchange for that Forward Throw attack hardly seems like an upgrade. Ah, yeah. Ike's edgeguarding is so OP already, so lets remove his effective 2-framing Neutral B for no reason. Also, those Terry Rising Tackle command moves (the hold Down to Up A) looked odd an unnecessary. I see no reason Captain Falcon, a character who's supposed to be mobile at all times, would benefit from having a short ranged uppercut move that requires him to stand still for half a second. And what even is Dr. Mario's supposed to be? An Up B that goes a quarter of the distance? This mod is pretty rough, but interesting to see nonetheless. There are, of course, welcome changes, too. Dark Samus has the best changes, I feel, and I like the attempts to declone Dark Pit from Pit. Hopefully things will be more fleshed out in the future.
DK's BAir is still the kick. His FAir was changed to be the punch that turns him around, which is very similar in use to BAir except it launches opponents inwards instead of away. He basically traded a situational spike for a Combo starter and kill confirm in neutral (FAir > BAir or UAir) Ike can stil 2 frame, you just gotta time it in both start up and release. I agree it's harder for no reason, but the video failed to illustrate that landing the attack is now an "Install" that makes his normals much stronger. Basically reverse Cloud limit where his normals are super strong instead of a super powerful special. Terry Command Moves might look "useless", but there's something every terry player worth something knows: Charge partitioning. In a nutshell, you dont have to crouch for half a second doing nothing.... you just have to be holding down! This means you can do stuff like fast falling to land with a rising tackle charge at the ready. You can also crawl or even input the down direction in the middle of laggy moves like Roll or Falcon kick.
also, the video didnt cover it, but iirc zss has a cancel mecanic and can use her new jab to start combos,along with other moves. idk the original video but i saw it in a marss video lol
As far as the video showed, only Jokers gun got a rising tackle style input, Falcons was just a command input. Doing an uppercut like that from a crouch can be surprisingly good anti-air, especially if it's a combo tool as well

I never understood why none of Kirby’s moves used a beam attack! That’s like on of the first power ups you get! I’d make his dash attack the move where you make a shield of blue beads in Kirby superstar if anyone knows what the hell im talking about
Was hoping for Kazuya to have a change but then I remember that Kazuya's move set are already enormous and pretty close to his moves in tekken so the only way to add moves is to somehow find a way to add more command inputs
Dark Pit could have way more potential. While this mod seems interesting it doesn't look too particularly good. Dark pit could be a more offensive variant of Pit giving him the brawl recovery, a neutral special similar to byleth but using his staff, down smash could be similar to wolf's but using Pandora's claws with Aura/Burning effect. Down special could definitely be using Babel's or the ore's Club with super armor. There's a lot that could be done for the Pit's than just inverting the recoveries 😞
This mod actually gives Mario a Neutral Game both on the ground and in the air, plus it pulls from more of his games. Now all we need a new final smash
Very mixed feelings on this. Some changes look great, like those made to Bowser, Ganondorf and Sonic. Others I don't like at all, like Corrin's u-smash or Ridley's side-B. It's also a huge missed opportunity that Ridley's d-air wasn't changed, it should have always been his downward tail stab used in Super, Zero Mission and Fusion. The length of the tail would have a moderate forward-launching hit box while the barb would be a sweet spot with a powerful spike. It could also bounce him up so long as he hits terrain, a projectile or opponent to emphasize him being an aerial fighter.
I wish that they kept twilight Princess link and BOTW link could be a whole different fighter with a whole new moveset and he could be called “Wild Link”
I know this Mod is in its early stages, but while it's adding things to characters, its mostly taking _away_ aspects of characters that make them more varied and unique. Meta Knight's moves look worse to use and Villager didn't need a strong punch to feel more fair. If every character had Air Smash Attacks like Min Min, then most of these moves would suffice. But right now, this Mod has to do a lot to impress me.

Ganon and Dark Samus were great. Ganon's new Neutral Special is so damn perfect, and Dark Samus' new moves help distinguish the character as Dark Samus proper.
still "ultimate s" needs more work put into it but I think that there's a pokemon ability gimmick mod for the pokemon trainer's pokemon because I think it's compatible for "ultimate s" basically. :/

With Kirby I would just change the attacks, for example: Side Smash: it would be a Kirby Jet, it would bring almost the same effect as the original Kirby's kick, but it would increase the range, and if you charge the attack completely, Kirby would come out faster, just like in games, giving a super smash! Down Smash: Freeze from Ice Kirby, freezing the enemy completely! Up Smash: Kirby could launch an electric sphere in the air! Jab: Could be Kirby's sword combos, but the punch combo is great too Dash Attack: Kirby should turn a wheel, like Sonic's Spin Dash, it would be much cooler Attack in Air Neutral: Kirby would do the same spin, the difference is that he would also wrap himself in a sphere of fire, like the burning in games Forward Air Attack: The Original is perfect Backward Air Attack: Launch a blast of fire with the Jet Upward Air Attack: The original Kirby Gillette (Reference to Guile) is perfect. Air Attack Down: Continues the same move but with freezing Air, freezing the enemy, catching the air attack with Kirby's ice power in games. And it would also add 4 more final smashes for Kirby, all of them being Super Abilities from Kirby Return's to Dream Land.
I love Kirby’s costume moves, I how his Bair is a smaller version of the ultra sword. Though I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what the side special is supposed to be, assuming it’s a cannon move from a Kirby game.
I personally don’t like them, they don’t feel right, why his ultra sword for back air? It doesn’t make sense. Not sure how to feel about his new side special, his hammer is pretty iconic although not great. I also don’t really like his new f tilt, it’s very awkward

I would like to point out, as someone who has played the most recent version of this mod, that Little Mac does have one new move in this mod, despite the startup of it being the same. Straight Lunge (Neutral B) has no knockback and can be pressed again on hit, as long as it's not the fully charged version (which does have knockback), and it will trigger his counter for extra damage. Mii Gunner can hold down Burst Grenade now. It doesn't change anything except being able to delay it for 200 frames. Bowser Jr can do a smaller Up B as a countermeasure to not having any jumps left. Bayonetta can cancel Forward Air into Side B. While it's technically correct that Terry doesn't have NEW moves, he does have one LESS move, being his Back B, Crackshoot.. except it does still have the command input version. I'm aware you said you left some out for "not having much to show", but these seemed like things worth showing to me.
I love most of the changes that happened. Mostly Sonic for not being a hybrid of a speedster and a spammer because he has some good combo game now. There is the problem with the damage of some of these moves, which I hope that they will re-balance some time in the future
Amazing work mate 👏 . Personally I would of made the mod more so a combination of the mod moves and the normal moves where holding before doing the move is what changes the normal one into the new move or swaped moves. As a balancing tool you would end-lag when used on ground and in free-fall when used in the air. A change I would like though is Sonic's down b would be both side b and down b (the way I said above) and also add the drop dash when you time the move the moment you touch the ground. And make the modded side b to become more boost like while on ground, but only does flinching damage and can't be turned around without Sonic braking to stop (which would make him very easy to hit). Plus also to change his forward air to his tornado kick from Sonic Battle where it's basically the same move but it makes him float in the air, moves him more forward and only does 3 hits instead of the multi hit.

Young Link’s new move should’ve been the Fairy Slingshot replacing the Fairy Bow since the game usually wants to show the OOT version of him, but probably only has this move set that isn’t true the original game just to be a clone of the other Links.

Lucina was an interesting change. Hero seems to have a more “Corner and quickly defeat your opponents” style, however, Sword seems to have a “Ok, gotta keep my balance against this foe” with better recovery, and quick and easy to land attacks, but not as strong or punishing. Overall, and not ONLY for these, but ALL of them, were very well made with thought out into them, like Dark Samus having more attacks to differentiate them from their counterpart.

Dark pit could be a more offensive variant of Pit giving him the brawl recovery, a neutral special similar to byleth but using his staff, down smash could be similar to wolf's but using Pandora's claws with Aura/Burning effect. Down special could definitely be using Babel's or the ore's Club with super armor.
There's a lot that could be done for the Pit's than just inverting the recoveries 😞

Very mixed feelings on this. Some changes look great, like those made to Bowser, Ganondorf and Sonic. Others I don't like at all, like Corrin's u-smash or Ridley's side-B.
It's also a huge missed opportunity that Ridley's d-air wasn't changed, it should have always been his downward tail stab used in Super, Zero Mission and Fusion. The length of the tail would have a moderate forward-launching hit box while the barb would be a sweet spot with a powerful spike. It could also bounce him up so long as he hits terrain, a projectile or opponent to emphasize him being an aerial fighter.
I wish that they kept twilight Princess link and BOTW link could be a whole different fighter with a whole new moveset and he could be called “Wild Link”

I know this Mod is in its early stages, but while it's adding things to characters, its mostly taking _away_ aspects of characters that make them more varied and unique. Meta Knight's moves look worse to use and Villager didn't need a strong punch to feel more fair.
If every character had Air Smash Attacks like Min Min, then most of these moves would suffice. But right now, this Mod has to do a lot to impress me.

Ganon and Dark Samus were great. Ganon's new Neutral Special is so damn perfect, and Dark Samus' new moves help distinguish the character as Dark Samus proper.
still "ultimate s" needs more work put into it but I think that there's a pokemon ability gimmick mod for the pokemon trainer's pokemon because I think it's compatible for "ultimate s" basically. :/

With Kirby I would just change the attacks, for example:
Side Smash: it would be a Kirby Jet, it would bring almost the same effect as the original Kirby's kick, but it would increase the range, and if you charge the attack completely, Kirby would come out faster, just like in games, giving a super smash!
Down Smash: Freeze from Ice Kirby, freezing the enemy completely!
Up Smash: Kirby could launch an electric sphere in the air!
Jab: Could be Kirby's sword combos, but the punch combo is great too
Dash Attack: Kirby should turn a wheel, like Sonic's Spin Dash, it would be much cooler
Attack in Air Neutral: Kirby would do the same spin, the difference is that he would also wrap himself in a sphere of fire, like the burning in games
Forward Air Attack: The Original is perfect
Backward Air Attack: Launch a blast of fire with the Jet
Upward Air Attack: The original Kirby Gillette (Reference to Guile) is perfect.
Air Attack Down: Continues the same move but with freezing Air, freezing the enemy, catching the air attack with Kirby's ice power in games.
And it would also add 4 more final smashes for Kirby, all of them being Super Abilities from Kirby Return's to Dream Land.
Sephiroth: Heartless Angel. Does 999%. Can only be activated with wing out. Takes 3-5 seconds.

I love Kirby’s costume moves, I how his Bair is a smaller version of the ultra sword. Though I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what the side special is supposed to be, assuming it’s a cannon move from a Kirby game.

I personally don’t like them, they don’t feel right, why his ultra sword for back air? It doesn’t make sense. Not sure how to feel about his new side special, his hammer is pretty iconic although not great. I also don’t really like his new f tilt, it’s very awkward

I would like to point out, as someone who has played the most recent version of this mod, that Little Mac does have one new move in this mod, despite the startup of it being the same. Straight Lunge (Neutral B) has no knockback and can be pressed again on hit, as long as it's not the fully charged version (which does have knockback), and it will trigger his counter for extra damage.
Mii Gunner can hold down Burst Grenade now. It doesn't change anything except being able to delay it for 200 frames.
Bowser Jr can do a smaller Up B as a countermeasure to not having any jumps left.
Bayonetta can cancel Forward Air into Side B.
While it's technically correct that Terry doesn't have NEW moves, he does have one LESS move, being his Back B, Crackshoot.. except it does still have the command input version.
I'm aware you said you left some out for "not having much to show", but these seemed like things worth showing to me.

For squirtel, use side b as dash attack and replace it with water pulse. It shoots ultrasonic waves, may confuse the foe.
I love most of the changes that happened. Mostly Sonic for not being a hybrid of a speedster and a spammer because he has some good combo game now.
There is the problem with the damage of some of these moves, which I hope that they will re-balance some time in the future
Amazing work mate 👏 . Personally I would of made the mod more so a combination of the mod moves and the normal moves where holding before doing the move is what changes the normal one into the new move or swaped moves. As a balancing tool you would end-lag when used on ground and in free-fall when used in the air.
A change I would like though is Sonic's down b would be both side b and down b (the way I said above) and also add the drop dash when you time the move the moment you touch the ground. And make the modded side b to become more boost like while on ground, but only does flinching damage and can't be turned around without Sonic braking to stop (which would make him very easy to hit). Plus also to change his forward air to his tornado kick from Sonic Battle where it's basically the same move but it makes him float in the air, moves him more forward and only does 3 hits instead of the multi hit.

Lucina was an interesting change.
Hero seems to have a more “Corner and quickly defeat your opponents” style, however,
Sword seems to have a “Ok, gotta keep my balance against this foe” with better recovery, and quick and easy to land attacks, but not as strong or punishing.
Overall, and not ONLY for these, but ALL of them, were very well made with thought out into them, like Dark Samus having more attacks to differentiate them from their counterpart.
