Step by step video on how to replace the front brakes on a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. I replace the rotors, pads, and hardware. I also found that 3 out of the 4 pistons on the passenger side caliper were frozen so I also replace that caliper. Lastly I replace a stud on one of the wheel spacers that I had previously messed up. Interesting that you used two of the pad spring clips. Stock only has one, at the bottom of the caliper. I'm going to go with two as well. As long as you have an extra spring clip, might as well use it and make the system more reliable.

Yeea, exactly haha. We actually had an issue when I just had the one where it was popping out sort of halfway and would make a weird clicking kind of noise at low speeds with the windows down cause it was just stuck in there but ever since I started using two we haven’t had any issues.

why risk destroying rubber on caliper piston by prying out pads before removing caliper bolts?

loved this.. I have a 2008 FJ. Do you have a shop? Also love the music in the background. I was just wondering when you were going to put out a new video.

It’s just a small one car garage I rent so doing some work can be difficult but it works for the time being. Thanks for the comment.
