The proper heterosexual female respond to first hearing that song should be shock and passion, so you passed the test…

Bisscute....the "starry" look in your eyes as you listened to this song, spoke volumes on how much you loved this song and duo.

This duo were performing in a black club and someone said to them, "That was righteous brothers". They decided to use that name from then on.

Percy Sledge When a man loves a woman. This song has been covered many times but nobody does it better than Percy.

Bisscute.... you commented about how loud the background sound was .... that was the work of producer Phil Spector ...he created the legendary 'wall of sound' to add fullness to a song. He was also husband to Ronnie Spector who was the lead singer of the group The Ronettes .... their hit song Be My Baby was also produced by Phil has that same 'wall of sound'. If you listen to that song you'll immediately identify it.

Bis, you are right there is something there that music today is missing. It is called PURE TALENT!!!

  • @marksmess136

The lyrics are heartbreaking. At 70 I'm still moved by these songs about love, longing, loss and renewal.

Biss you truly are an "old soul". It amazes me how a person as young as you can have such old time class 😊
