This is the most touching and perceptive reaction I have seen to this masterpiece of a song. The legendary Bill Medley ( the tall one) is my favorite singer ever. You picked up how is so expert at expressing emotion in his voice. He is also amazing when singing blues. He is still singing, but just announced that he will no longer be touring (he’s 83), so I am going to see him in concert next month! His partner, Bobby Hatfield, had one of the greatest voices ever. He passed away in 2003. You shoul listen to Unchained Melody, which he sings solo. Keep exploring the 60s- we had such wonderful music back then!

No auto-tuning crap like today. And the songs had meaningful beautiful lyrics. Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” is amazing as well. I believe it was in the 60’s. And the Animals’ House of the Rising Sun and Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood are both excellent songs from the 60’s. For a real treat, Elvis’ If I Could Dream in 68 was a tribute to Martin Luther King and also Bobby Kennedy after their assassinations. You may have already done some of these.
