I like how he mentions the Gaulur amulet which most people discover during the college questlines but not deathbrand, which is started by reading a book at level 36 or by looting a pirate chest with the item inside, the reward being a huge room of gold and a full set of enchanted stahlrim armor
Agree same with the mission under the college. And if you do the thieves guild or want to buy a house in riften, you most likely did the trading company one as well. Cut content doesn't count! Lol
Forbidden Legend has lots of other triggers besides reading the book (visiting Reachwater Rock and reading the edict note, for example). It also triggers during your visit to Saarthal, if you do the College of Winterhold quest line.
Yeah, I always start Forbidden Legend by first starting the College of Winterhold. It's related to magic, so it makes sense to me to find the piece in Saarthal while going there as a student of the College, then go find the other two and eventually get the proper amulet.
Yeah, it triggers itself without the book. Also since the gauldur amulet is such a good item, its recommended by so many lets players and channels to do the quest. Id say lost to the legends is one of the best known quest instead of a forgotten one. Could have put "the wolf queen awakened" in that spot. Thats a quest with a unique dungeon really nobody talks about cause everyone only does the quest before it.

First part is pretty much thrown at you when you go into the blue palast. You have to kill some cultists in a cave who wanna resurrect the wolf queen. However, If you talk to the guy who gave you the quest a few days after you killed the cultists, he will tell you that the wolf queens spirit hid down in the sewers under solitude. You go through a very unique looking dungeon and fight her there again.
Except for the the fact that if you dont talk to falk firebeard again on your own,a courier will find you with a letter from him telling you to go back. This even happens on my xbox 360 version so pretty sure every single person that has bought proudspire manor knows about this quest
Well it’s not that simple. You get the letter for leveling up after having completed the first wolf queen quest. It’s the only quest like this in the game. You could be level 1000 and you won’t be able to activate the quest unless you level up.
Affairs of Hagravens and Darklight Tower's mother-daughter conflict are both less easy to come across than any of the quests you named, except the Longhammer one, which isn't a quest at all. Both require you to go to out of the way places that rarely or never feature in miscellaneous objectives and actually enter the location before they trigger. I remember doing all of these quests way back when. I was one of those people who went looking for every location on the map. I spent hours just running about discovering locations. Did the same in the Fallout games.
'The pale lady' is relatively easy to find when you walk to Morthal after getting the windcallers horn quest from the greybeards. I usually start at Whiterun, help out Cicero and stumble across those bandit idiots before reaching Morthal.
The Second quest is utilized in Amorous Adventures with the mercenary Jenassa It makes more sense to spare the Dremora pirate, by game lore, to save the Dremora as they can come back from their origins. Plus the treasure is great. The Gauldor quest can be started via anyone of the 3 beginning stages. Usually the College Saarthal quest initiates for most. The Pale Lady quest is another that Amorous Adventures guides you into with Idgrod the Younger in Morthal.
Also, the quest can be activated if you go to east company office in solitude. Idk why everyone is so lazy to walk i explore every inch of city that i can reach

I feel the same about Morrowind, but I like Skyrim too. I wonder what ES6 will be like. (Played Oblivion, would play it again... but I prefer Morrowind and Skyrim.)
It should be noted that the Gauldur Amulet has a chance to be glitchy, and could possibly be worn at the same time as any other lesser necklace. So the sooner you go get it, the better your stats at a lower level. Also, you have to equip the Amulet first, then the other necklace you desire to wear for the doubling effect to take place. If it will at all. I want to note, it's not always glitchy, but since it's a Bethesda game, the possibility is always there. (Tested on two systems, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch. No mods installed on either game.)
I feel like the one in Windhelm is probably the most hidden quest in the game. I mean, I've done it a lot and it's interesting because it brings you to a separate world space.
1. I didn't knew about Ancient Traveller, nor the place. It's new information for me. 2. The pirate infiltration. It also can be triggered at East Empire Company warehouse in Solitude. The guard will point you to go to this dock in Windhelm. It's cool quest, like literally you go to frozen place, and bombarded with canon ball after. 3. The unique axe. Okey, new for me. 4. The pirate daedra. Never done the quest. But knew it when researching about Pirate of Acabean book lore. 5. That Gauldur quest. Like some other comments here mention, it can be trigger by many places, not just book. In my first time, I stumbled upon the quest when try to find Narfi's sister (without activating quest marker) in Germund Hall. (The archer Gauldurson is annoying btw) 6. That pale milf lady quest, I found it because was sent by Greybeard to get shout wall. Yeah, that bandit woman has interesting story. Also some said that she stay in the inn in Markarth after that event. Anyway, nice content you make, land strider. May your road lead you to wisp mother.
@@HadamacikTheProphet Without glitching it takes pretty long into a playthrough to get enchanting to a level you can get two enchantments on an item, by which time you've broken the game anyway and that assumes you want to spend time grinding the enchantment tree in the first place. On harder difficulties, the amulet is good early mid-game for getting around over-leveling traps where you put a bunch into noncombat perks but haven't broken the game with crafting yet.
Its decent but I dont think its a must. Besides, you have to go through 3 drauger crypts which is literally the most boring parts of skyrim. Not worth it in my eyes.
I remember stumbling across #2. I spent many hours exploring random houses, building and whatnot. It was definitely a unique quest that never got enough attention. Keep up the great content I've also subbed :)
1. Never had mods or console commands. So never had it 2. Well known quest 3. Longhammer isn't really a quest, just special item. 4. Midden quest is fairly well known 5. Gauldor amulet is common. 6. Also easily found/started Conclusion: title is very misleading
This confirms i have done it all...i DIDN'T know the first one but i DO have that skull on desplay along with arvak and kirstag...in my skull room. (I have a skull room) So... I did all these but still learned something new...well played. You have earned my sub.
Only one I haven't seen is the 1st one with the skull. I've thought about adding the cutting room floor mod. Still, I can't say that taking the skull and having to immediately fight a headless ghost can be deemed a "quest".
That Longhammer is a favorite- leaving it unenchanted but smithed up even moderately and using the Elemental Fury shout (if being the Dovahkiin) with it makes it a real jackhammer on anything within reach.
Lost Legends is literally everywhere. I picked it up thinking it must be rare and must have found 4 other copies in the same ruin and about 100 more afterwards.
I found way ward pass about eight years ago on accident and it took nearly six years just to find it again cause I didn't know exactly where it was. To this day its still one of my favorite locations in the game.
1. Cut quest (come on… ) 2. Is kind hidden 3. Is that quest???, i believe was some kind encounter 4. I did that once, believe that was dream or misc quest my brain mix. 5. Too long, do it three times.. 6. I always save her… when i encounter.. Pale lady is like dissapointment
Gaulder is a common one, I feel. Even if people don't read the books, a lot still pick them up. Gotta fill them bookshelves in my house somehow. But yeah, I don't really actually read the books (with the obvious exception of a certain maid, we've all read it, don't you lie) but at least picking then up still gets me the quests.
There is a missing Argonian in a town in between Riften and Windhelm... You have to follow the waterfall UP and find a tower which you enter and fight Bandits or Wizards and rescue him.
Oh thank Dibella! I thought I was going crazy with #2! I completed it years ago and could never find it again. I was starting to think that I just imagined it all up.
Galdur quest can also start by finding the journal outside one of the tombs. Also college of winter hold quest saarthal Also find narfi's sister in ivarstad
the first time i did the bloodhorker quest i was FLOORED. i think i was trying to rob their storefront or i was like hiding from the guards or something. it was so crazy and exciting to realize there was a sick ass hidden quest that i had missed for a solid decade
Yes, obviously most players don't explore much at all. Although the only way to not find out about Gaulder's Amulet is to know where all the triggers are and never go there.
the East Empire Company quest isn't that lowkey considering the fact after you finish it the guards across the holds through random dialogue, will thank you as they can import their 'aged breton cheese' now. It may appear as 'hidden' due to the ragged and hidden quest location, however considering the aftermath and the EEC's role in Skyrim's trade, it becomes quite an important quest.
I already knew about the last three, in fact, starting the College Questline is pretty much how I start that particular Side Quest! I'm going to have to get that mod for the first one and keep an eye out for the other two now!
For part six, Eisa is mentioned in White River Watch, in the bandit chief's journal. In it, the bandit says that a mutiny occured, and that only the two bandits got away
Liars retreat is also one of the best places to go for completing the "discerning the transmundane" quest for the oghma infinium. It has most of the needed races for the blood. I believe if you go there and the halted stream camp spike pit it you'll be done the blood gathering
As a nerd, I have to just point out that when you say you can ONLY start the quest Forbidden Legend by reading the book Lost Legends, you're a bit incorrect; I believe there's around 3 more ways to start the quest. Reading the book is simply the easiest way, not the only way. Other than that, wonderful video as always!
Many of the dungeon quests, which contain a Word Wall, don't need to be found, Arngeir sends you there to learn a new shout. It's a bit like an additional questline to learn all dragon words.
whats weird about the east empire company one (which I only found a couple of months ago) is after talking to the imperial and starting the quest, it completed one of those misc quests that tell you to go start other quests, just like the "join the imperials" misc quest. So I think there was supposed to be a way to be told to go there like asking about rumors, but I never found anything like that and never even had the quest to go there until it told me it was competed.
Damn, you got a nice voice - I didn't know about the second one but I stumbled across that last one very recently, during my last run on Skyrim! Subbed!!
I think "The Ghost of Old Hroldan" is way more hidden than most of these combined. In an inn deep in the reach very far from anything of importance AND you have to rent a room to start it. Besides the fact that its in the middle of nowhere you also have to specifically trigger it by doing something only some role/survival players would do.
The only one I didn't do was the cutting room floor one. Mind you in your, defense I've spent a LOT of hours in Skyrim LE. Also, I'm a tourist. So, I look everywhere I can. Well, when I feel like it. It's a great world to wander around it. Same as Witcher 3 Horizon Z Dawn. I cycle through them without a bicycle. Waiting for the next game that's worth playing. So far, no luck. As you can probably guess all three are sword and bow. Well two, sword and bow. Witcher 3 is more sword spell, and a, b. You can't call that a bow. All of them worth wandering around in. The artwork in all of them is a miracle that could only have happened, in this time. 400,000 years in the making. Just wonder and think about that. All those poor sods that lived and died. Not knowing what a pixel was. 🙂 Don't take it for granted, take it for a walk. Have fun folks, life's a bitch, if you don't.
Am I the only one who always takes the ancient traveler's skull so that they can see all of my adventures? I love random unique pieces like that but the only unique thing I always have on me is that specific skull
i feel like a lot of players don’t end up doing the quest that the priestess in white run gives you, the red eagle sword thing, and a lot of the fetch quests that give you good rewards
I love secondary and secret quests in skyrim one of my favorite is with the ghost children when you need to find the killer of his family in the village 😍and so many others with God’s and deamons 🤯😱 skyrim is the game of my life ❤
aw, i was hoping for something i had missed. granted, only had the cutting room floor a couple of years so i have not known about the skull for long compared to the rest. keep digging!
5:21 thing is that the book isn’t the only way to trigger the quest because it can be triggered through reading the notes on the bodies that hold the fragments
There's actually a bug with the pale lady's quest... If you return the sword and then take it back after killing her... She'll respawn indefinitely. Just kill her, return the sword to the pedestal, and then take it back off
Whelp, time to fire up the game, YET AGAIN. Every time I think I'm done, I get pulled back in. A testament to the quality of this game, and your persuasive delivery. Great video!
"Even the most seasond veterans don't even know they're in the game." My guy, I and all of my buddies found all of these back in highschool when Skyrim released. Not to mention Gaulder's Amulet isn't hidden at all. What is a seasoned veteran player in your eyes because it seems to be a low bar. 😆
I've been playing with mods for years. Cutting Room Floor being one I will always have installed. I've started forgetting what is in the vanilla game and what wasnt.
They forgot the legend of Red Eagle. That one’s honestly better in place of the Gaulder amulet, because it’s also found in a book, but there’s no way to start it during another quest unless you read the book the Legend of Red Eagle. I’ve also done all of these at least once (except the first one, since I’ve never used CC or mods until recently), and have done most of them multiple times, if not every playthrough 😂
I'll always remember the Forbidden Legend quest as "the quest that killed my Skyrim wife", Ria. During the final battle with the Gauldersons, the weaker drauger were swarming Ria. I got my bow out to shoot them off of her, but they moved just as she went down to kneel and I hit her instead, killing her instantly. Her body never despawned, so I ended up revisiting her "tomb" every few in-game months. Surprisingly, the game let me remarry after this.
I got that light hammer, but lost it to a ("disarming Thu'um" ) Draugr Death lord , killed it but just could not find it, maybe glitched in the wall or something
I have never found that longhammer before - gonna do it next time though - and I am one of "those" players who randomly enters tombs without prompting because I want to explore and finding things like parts of necklaces then getting "oh you started forbidden legends!" lol
You can save Rajir during the pale lady but he aggros against you with no dialog anyways. But if your pickpocket skill is able to pick equipped items and/or you have either ash shell or mora's grasp you can grasp him before he activates the altar and pickpocket him as he stands up to put the sword back or kill the pale lady before he's able to be damaged again. Also if you have Dead Thrall spell you can have a permanent undead Vehlek Sain that retains his voice instead of the typical zombies groans and moans.
Don’t forget to mention battling the white werewolf in Ysgramor tomb and also Arniel wants ethereum for his machine on top of the college and also Tolfdir upgrades Ebonyflesh spell if you give them legendary heart scales
I’ve come across all of these in my most recent play through funny enough, apart from the ancient traveller encounter, but I might enable it now that I know I can
I'd say the pirate Island is the most hidden out of all the quests he showed. the red bane sword was one of the first quests I ever did. Once I knew you got levels from book I read everything 😂
I’ve missed these quests throughout Al my play throughs, although I feel like I’ve done some of the last quest! Definitely will have to do these quests in a new save!
Technically a lot people who aren't bookworms have gotten gauldur's amulett. All anybody would have to do is just open the book and you'd get the quest automatically. No need to read the entire thing for a bonus quest or an extra level in magic or thievery or something
I like how he mentions the Gaulur amulet which most people discover during the college questlines but not deathbrand, which is started by reading a book at level 36 or by looting a pirate chest with the item inside, the reward being a huge room of gold and a full set of enchanted stahlrim armor
That's from a DLC, though. I have to think that he is defining "Skyrim' as the original unmodded vanilla game.

I feel like the one in Windhelm is probably the most hidden quest in the game. I mean, I've done it a lot and it's interesting because it brings you to a separate world space.
I love this channel. It's rare I watch a Skyrim video and actually learn something new but every video I'm sat here like 😮
(The archer Gauldurson is annoying btw)
6. That pale milf lady quest, I found it because was sent by Greybeard to get shout wall. Yeah, that bandit woman has interesting story. Also some said that she stay in the inn in Markarth after that event.
Anyway, nice content you make, land strider. May your road lead you to wisp mother.
Yeah, if she survives she'll be sitting on a chair in one of the corners.
Also the Gauldur amulet quest is a must finish for me every playthrough, because the effects of the amulet are far too good to pass up.
I think custom made necklace with double enchants can be far better.
Also, because the pieces are stuck in the inventory until you complete the amulet
So never had it
2. Well known quest
3. Longhammer isn't really a quest, just special item.
4. Midden quest is fairly well known
5. Gauldor amulet is common.
6. Also easily found/started
Conclusion: title is very misleading
This confirms i have done it all...i DIDN'T know the first one but i DO have that skull on desplay along with arvak and kirstag...in my skull room.
(I have a skull room)
So...
One of my favorites (in category of quest rewards) was Repentance in Darklight Tower.
I found way ward pass about eight years ago on accident and it took nearly six years just to find it again cause I didn't know exactly where it was. To this day its still one of my favorite locations in the game.
When you have the immersive weapons mod installed and do the East Empire quest you can get a unique and pretty looking greatsword from the island.
1. Cut quest (come on… )
2. Is kind hidden
3. Is that quest???, i believe was some kind encounter
I'm impressed I actually didn't know about the quest at the Midden and the Long hammer thing.
The Pale Blade is a staple of my Breton Ice Spell-sword Stormcloak.
Oh thank Dibella!
I thought I was going crazy with #2!
I completed it years ago and could never find it again.
I was starting to think that I just imagined it all up.
I love how many little things Skyrim has scattered throughout its world. Such a shame some things have been cut
The only quest here that I didn't find on my own was the one that was cut from the game. But I've always been a bit of a completionist.
Galdur quest can also start by finding the journal outside one of the tombs.
Also college of winter hold quest saarthal
Also find narfi's sister in ivarstad
the first time i did the bloodhorker quest i was FLOORED. i think i was trying to rob their storefront or i was like hiding from the guards or something. it was so crazy and exciting to realize there was a sick ass hidden quest that i had missed for a solid decade
I have come across the quest you mentioned in #2 before and have completed it. I didn't even know it was a more hidden quest until you mentioned it.
This guy is my favourite new TH-camr! Even better that he does good Skyrim videos!
Yes, obviously most players don't explore much at all. Although the only way to not find out about Gaulder's Amulet is to know where all the triggers are and never go there.
This channel is SO good for being so new
ive done all of these my first time i played skyrim, besides the first one. idk these where so rare
Forbitten Legends is such a cool quest. I love this amulett so much because its powerful.
the East Empire Company quest isn't that lowkey considering the fact after you finish it the guards across the holds through random dialogue, will thank you as they can import their 'aged breton cheese' now.
Probably cut content or bugged
All of these quests are well known, with the exception of the first one for the reason mentioned...
Damn, you got a nice voice - I didn't know about the second one but I stumbled across that last one very recently, during my last run on Skyrim! Subbed!!
Glad to see I’m not the only one that mixes up winterhold and windhelm names
I'm putting it on now.
I love secondary and secret quests in skyrim one of my favorite is with the ghost children when you need to find the killer of his family in the village 😍and so many others with God’s and deamons 🤯😱 skyrim is the game of my life ❤
3:53 this place is in the midden dark
aw, i was hoping for something i had missed. granted, only had the cutting room floor a couple of years so i have not known about the skull for long compared to the rest. keep digging!
I feel like kynes sacred trial is more hidden than any of these
Love Lost Legends, I do it right away on each playthrough!!
Not counting the one that needs a mod to bring in back, I did all of these on my first playthrough
"Even the most seasond veterans don't even know they're in the game."
My guy, I and all of my buddies found all of these back in highschool when Skyrim released.
Not to mention Gaulder's Amulet isn't hidden at all.
What is a seasoned veteran player in your eyes because it seems to be a low bar. 😆
I have done all of the quests except the first one.
I distinctly remember playing Skyrim, when it first came out, and took the skull and fighting that ghost
Ummm dude just reload and try again. Ria is far too nice of a follower to die that way...
Bro has never done the College of Winterhold quest line😭😭 (it's how I get the gaudler amulet thing :p)
I only recently went down to the docks and found the pirate quest. Great video!
Only two of these were unknown to me! I feel proud and will check out the other two!
Loving the channel, y'all. Just now subbed and can't stop watching, lol. I frikken LOVE the quest Lost Legends, one of my favs
I got that light hammer, but lost it to a ("disarming Thu'um" ) Draugr Death lord , killed it but just could not find it, maybe glitched in the wall or something
For those wondering who the guy in the thumbnail is, it's from the mod Bishop - A Romance Mod
I have never found that longhammer before - gonna do it next time though - and I am one of "those" players who randomly enters tombs without prompting because I want to explore and finding things like parts of necklaces then getting "oh you started forbidden legends!" lol
„Best Amulet in the game? Boyyy do I have something to show you! So there’s these three specific skill trees: alchemy, enchanting and restoration…“
I would argue the dwemer war book quest would be less known than the Gauldur questline, bith of which are well known as is
You can save Rajir during the pale lady but he aggros against you with no dialog anyways.
@@danbauer3669 Velek Sain is a weeeaaaaak thrall. The best thrall I know of is a dremora from early level midden summoning
I just found a mission called Ghostbusters. You literally fight giant crabs, ski even bears wolves and sabertooth, and they’re all ghost form.
Thank You! I really had missed The Longhammer in my previous adventures in Skyrim. 😉
this dudes voice is just so good he should start making podcasts or smth
Don’t forget to mention battling the white werewolf in Ysgramor tomb and also Arniel wants ethereum for his machine on top of the college and also Tolfdir upgrades Ebonyflesh spell if you give them legendary heart scales
I’ve come across all of these in my most recent play through funny enough, apart from the ancient traveller encounter, but I might enable it now that I know I can
2:43 not gonna show it on the map?....um, well okay. Guess I'm not gonna find it.
I thought the same thing lol
I'd say the pirate Island is the most hidden out of all the quests he showed. the red bane sword was one of the first quests I ever did. Once I knew you got levels from book I read everything 😂
I’ve missed these quests throughout Al my play throughs, although I feel like I’ve done some of the last quest! Definitely will have to do these quests in a new save!
I didnt know about the long hammer, but I thought the gauldur amulet and 4 rings of winterhold were common knowledge.
Technically a lot people who aren't bookworms have gotten gauldur's amulett. All anybody would have to do is just open the book and you'd get the quest automatically. No need to read the entire thing for a bonus quest or an extra level in magic or thievery or something
I think that I had done all but one of those honestly. But I'm one of those mentioned that doesn't have a life so...yeah...
