I read somewhere a trick to getting these on is to boil it in hot water making it more malleable. I’ll try this technique first, I’m excited to get my order from your guys today!
The key part of getting the solid tires installed is stretching the tire around the rim using a pry bar of some sort. You can see this demonstrated in our video at 6:24
I can't believe that in 2023 we do not hawe good Electric scooter tires for my MTB I can chuse what brend and is it for rain fast rolling, or slow roling but gripier they cost 50€ but I will give 50€ yust that Im ok and I know that seal is in tire and if it puncture or pinc flat liquid will fill that hole and its tech from 2015 I can belive why inertube so stupid engineers. And geometry I think that past 1,or 2 ares they start too think abaut Electric scooter geometry like on MTB, rode bike same but different. They hawe tools and people wud give more money for good tires cos that is life sawyer.
I put 8.5x2 solid tire on my vsett8 and I recomend only use in emergencies when u have no air tire available. Shocks gave me major spasms ruined my whole week. Its nice not to get a flat but the shocks are debilitating... Be ware if u have arthritis and any back issues. Also braking and speed and turning stability greatly has gone to shit... I whent back to front air tires. When I finally found them in stolk.
this sort of tire is different to the original ones these are 8.5x2.6 the extra .6 does help. I use my Vsett9+ like a Vsett8 1 pneumatic at the front and a solid rubber tire at the back. I'm going to get a off road tire for the front and keep it this way there is a performance decrease but very slightly Id rather take this option than keep changing flats for all it doesn't take long it's a faff about and is rather expensive
I bought two of these and replaced my front tire. The ride was noticeably different and not in a good way. Not only did the throttle feel way more sluggish, but it felt like I was driving with a flat tire in the front; squirrely and mushy. Maybe you won't notice it if you weigh less than 180 lbs, but at 250, I definitely felt it. Buy/use with caution.
I thought that was just me I bought solid tires with the intention of only the rear being solid and the front being a air filled tire but I hear a strange noise coming from the rear like it’s flat. Guess I have to loose more weight now.
I have an Apollo Phantom V2. Will this solid tire fit on my rims? And would you recommend I buy two solid tires or can I leave the front tire with the tube and just change the rear for a solid?
My wheel doesn't take apart. That I know of, it doesn't come apart How am I going to press the tire on the reels? I want to go from tire & tube to a solid tire like that only in the rear to prevent flat tires in the future. The size tire I’m using right now is 70/65 6.5 10.” I need to check the Width of 2.5 or 2.7 seems like 2.7 I'm not sure if I have a solid tire for that size or need to check the Width of the wheels.
It does effect ! It effects the Most in the curves every time the Feeling that i slip away! So the are good but vor me Air tires are way better! #nohate # revrodestop Best wishes from Austria Vienna 🇦🇹 PATZL-TATTOO
Our kits come with these long screws to help with installation. If you order the solid tire from us it comes with them for free. If you want to just order the kit and you are in the USA please email service@revrides.com
Thanks for asking! The product isn't currently listed on our website because we are waiting for the installation hardware to arrive - expected in 2-4 weeks. Feel free to check back then, or email service@revrides.com to get an alert when the parts become available! Thanks!
Do y’all sell solid tire size 10x2.75 or 255x80? I bought one from Amazon for my Kukirin G2 Max and no shop within a 50 miles radius said the would I stall it, unfortunately ending up going with inner tubes again. Got my first flat at 47 miles and 2nd flat at 90 miles then a 3rd flat at 112 miles. It’s getting annoying having to either patch or change the inner tubes 😔
Guys do not buy this!!! Ride ia gonna change like for 100% in a bad way!!! They are hard, no grip, and very dangerous for the curve. Bought 2 of them - the biggest mistake I ever made. Yeah and VSETT made a nice scooter but tyres are not Worthed even a penny... - always flats doesn't even matter if you are checking the pressure. Tyre is rough from inside and the tube is thin like a condom. I'm in a loop what to do, cose I'm sick of buying tubes or gluing them. And the solid tyre is total Bull. Thank you for a video - is really helpfull. But please be fair and say a word or 2 about the tyre you are putting on. Hope comes out some better solid tyre, cose this one is disaster.
We're sorry you are having issues with your tires, take a look into PMT tires based out of Italy. They make performance racing tires that are much more durable and less susceptible to flats. www.pmt-tyres.it/en/
Just like a bike, Use a old cloth.... some warm soapy water and a towel. or get some stuff from your bicylce store something like muck off or dirt be gone it's a simple spray onto scooter wash off with water then dry
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, REV Rides doesn't currently have a solid tire option for the VSETT 10+. However, look into PMT Tires based out of Italy. They have some durable tire options!

I’ve had 3 flats (no punctures) on my vsett 9+ with only about 200 miles of riding. I’ve been thinking about getting these solid tires for a while now and just wanted to know if it dramatically changed the performance and how often they needed to be changed?
Thanks for reaching out! Putting the solid tire on does not change performance, just stops flats. They should be lasting 500+ miles unless you're hammering on them!
My back tire explode at 70km/h and i almost crashed into a car that was on the opposite side of the road...I think the tire explode from high temperature. Now i ride only with sold tires
Notice that the bolts are all pre-loosened in this video? In reality they come so tightened down that you have to go to a shop just to have them break it off and pay for a new bolt to be put on.
I rode on the solid tires once and I won't do it again. Felt scared for my life the entire ride. Do not recommend. Hopefully Vsett comes out with a solution (tubeless) for their otherwise awesome scooters.
pretty sure you installed a tire pointing wrong way. even according to your own instructions in the beginning of a video. it doesnt point forward as you can see at the end of a video

Thanks for that data point! It's good to know how different products present different riding experiences for riders of different sizes.
Awesome vid and would definitely purcahse this along with the Vsett 9+ but isnt the inner most squiggle support to point forward?
