The things people say are so hurtful and discriminating sometimes. I'm a young trans boy (FTM) 15 years old, and I got called a transphobic slur yesterday. It really hurt, but your videos make me happy, and I'm glad that you chose to be yourself, you are so beautiful and have come a long way! Thirdly, there is scientific proof that evolution is what created humans. Our closest relatives? The apes. Why is that? Because apes in certain areas of the world adapted to their environment (walking on their legs instead of all fours, using tools, apposable thumbs etc). Fossils are also a thing, so try looking into them because it proved evolution is real and every animal was not created by God. For example, birds did not exist 65 million years ago but there was a creature called the Archeopteryx which was a reptilian animal with feathers. This animal is the ancestor of all bird species'. Also, if humans existed when the earth was created I'm pretty sure either most of our planet would be uninhabitable, or all of our planet would be uninhabitable and the human race would already be extinct.
I don't like commenting on things, but when you read the one about your voice I felt it and wanted to share. I'm 9 months into living as a girl full time and I don't quite pass despite my best intentions, primarily due to my voice. It's honestly quite fascinating how many people give up on the common decency act around me when they hear what I sound like. I did have one boy talk to me and when I spoke, he apologised and said "forgive me, I thought you were a girl". Girl did not know how to feel at that, you can imagine haha. Voice training is such a daunting prospect to me, no doubt it was for you and anyone else who has had to consider it. My voice is probably the thing I'm most vulnerable with even though I've had nothing in the way of surgery or medication yet, and easily the worst part of my transition so far. Finding you has been somewhat of a godsend for me, I was so close to giving up. Just hearing you speak (and just how beautiful your voice is when you do) it's inspired a confidence in me that everything is going to be okay if I keep working on it. I actually have no idea what that idiot commenter was listening to. Bitch was probably just jealous... I can relate to that! So... thank you! I'll return to just listening and liking.

I’m a cis female but I can relate in a way, I have short hair, not a very “feminine” body, and have a deeper voice then most girls my age, so I often get called a boy. It doesn’t really help that I’m pansexual and most of my school knows that I’ve dated a few girls. Anyway I really loved your speech, and I wish you the best in life! It takes a while. It'll be fine. My "natural" voice is in the Idris Elba range. But as you get more comfortable in your body, your voice matters less. Today (well, yesterday, since I just woke up) was the first day where I had a bunch of errands and I passed everywhere. I came out July 2018.

Several years ago, I held strong opinions about transgender individuals and abortion... It took me awhile to realize that all that matters is what I do with my life. As far as what people do with their life, as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else, who cares what they do. So, you're beautiful. You do you. Find what makes you happy and go for it. Focus on yourself, it's made me happier.

After joining the military and seeing the world, I realized that real freedom means ensuring people have the ability to do what they want and long as it is legal and doesn't negatively impact others. If two people want to marry, they should. If someone isn't comfortable in their skin and needs to transition, go for it. No one is telling me how to live my life, why should I be concerned how people live their life?
@@miracledinner2244 my only sticking point is that transgender individuals shouldn't be serving actively in combat roles in the military. I've worked with an individual who transitioned male to female while working as a government civilian. This is awesome. I just think that anything transitioning or getting continued HRT should not be in a position to deploy to austere environments in the military. This protects them and the military. But I'm all for anyone who is trans to hold political office, to work in the government, or even support the military in a wide variety of roles.
I totally get that ! As a kid my hairdresser was trans. It was my 1st time really knowing what trans was , and I laughed at them . Omg my mom almost kicked my ass lmao. I learned that day what trans really was , how they are born feeling the opposite gender . My mom had a very long and angry talk with me and how I am never to do that again. I learned my lesson young , I have educated my self about it to . And I’m thankful for it . Like yes I was 10 but it didn’t make it right .

I hate that people think that giving birth makes you a woman. Or that your voice defines you. I'm a cis bi woman with a deep voice and I dont want kids. This does not make me less of a woman, in the same way that being a trans woman doesn't make you less of a woman. Being a woman makes you a woman. @@Network126 I’ve seen many of your replies and most of them are using your family issues as an excuse. First of all, everything you’re saying is just hateful and selfish and using your family is NOT a viable excuse. I had several issues in my life too. My mother was bisexual and when my dad overheard a conversation between me and my mum (my mum was telling a story about her first crush being a girl and admitted to actually wanting to date girls and boys), he immediately slapped her across the face and verbally and physically abused her. Now, I think I know why my dad did this constantly after my mother committed suicide from the abuse - he was afraid she would cheat on him because he thought she was attracted to more people. Do I think my dad and all men/father figures are terrible people? No! Ok I think my dad was a terrible person but here I am, in a new home with new parents, safe and sound. I can never forgive what my dad did back then but i still hold on to that hope that he is changed for the better. You can’t assume an entire population acts just like your experience. It’s like food - I hate egg, my friend loves it. Edit: my old house had thin-as walls. I could literally hear my alarm beeping from my room upstairs with the doors shut while downstairs in a bathroom.
@Francesco Damiani This goes well beyond the typical "shitty family" dynamic. Very few people can claim that their family was ruined by their father's "transition". I have a very deep and unique story to tell. Most people don't understand. My entire life course was literally altered for the worse when I was barely in kindergarten. I'd probably already be raising my own family by now, in the home that I grew up in, instead of struggling with endless poverty and depression, and bouncing from place to place. I can't simply forget about all of that, when I'm literally reminded of the damage everytime I wake up. My mom falling into depression and losing that house was a really huge deal. You literally don't get it at all. I can't live my life. It was ruined long time ago when I was born in the middle of someone's gender identity crisis. I'll never shut up about it. I'm even planning on writing a whole damn book about it.
The “you are a man” comments are triggering me, I may be cis, but I have been misgendered, I was really angry but I can’t imagine what it’s like for a trans person, for a person who has been harassed and bullied for just existing, how it must feel to be constantly discriminated just for being a girl who used to be a guy or vice versa.
When I used to debate with super conservative, fundamentalist Christians over same-sex marriage and abortion rights, they would constantly refer to me as "tr*nny". I just don't understand the deep hatred. It wasn't really an insult to me, but I thought it was kinda funny because I'm a cis woman. If they genuinely thought I was trans, they pretty much proved you cannot tell who is cis or trans based solely on appearances. So, gender is indeed a social construct.

I used to be like these people, and I was really toxic back then. I'm so glad that I'm accepting of everyone now, and I can't believe how toxic I used to be. I even ended up question my own gender at one point. Anyway, I like to think of myself as a completely different person now, as I have a more open mind. I hope that if I can change, others can too. It’s not “fooling anyone” you’re literally not able to tell the difference, even when it comes to their vagina. The only way to realize is through the fact, that she is not able to get pregnant, but even cis-women aren’t always able to do so.

i personally dislike the word “hater”, mainly because the widespread use of it is typically an excuse for someone to ignore any real constructive criticism or feedback. however, these people are the exact definition of a “hater”. what i’m trying to say is that these people’s words come from uneducated confidence and have no real substance. my only advice would be to not take this hollow vitriol to heart, but clearly you’re doing just that. i really like what you do here, taking stuff like these comments and using them to educate and show these people that their words don’t have the intended effect. keep it up :)
Yall missing OP's point - I also find the whole "haters gonna hate" attitude dismissive. We all agree that the dudes who messaged Samantha suck and have no idea what they're talking about. But when every influencer / celebrity dismisses every complaint as just "haters", sometimes legitimate criticism gets missed. Not all critics are haters E.g. Here, Sam mentioned that a few of the messages came in on a video where she "Didn't tell a date she's trans". That's a tough decision to make :( If you tell someone too soon, they might reject you based on preconceptions, before getting to know you (many argue this filters out crappy ppl). But if you wait to disclose, it can be seen as deceptive (say, if they want to have a kid one day). It's masking basically, and I actually relate quite a bit as someone with ADHD (of all things), because I know the effects it has in a relationship. Most people get frustrated with me eventually, so I try to minimize it early on in dating.. At the end of the day, if you fall for Sam, it doesn't matter who she was.. but I can say from personal experience, that things aren't always that idealistic in real, long term relationships. @Catherine Ives Appreciate you taking the middle ground here :) It sucks trying to empathize with nasty people, but it's diplomacy101 - if we never try, we'll never actually change minds. I found this channel on my fyp today and as a biological female who is trying to identify as nonbinary, this really helped me. My family and most of my friends still misgender me a lot and don't use my preferred name, and some of them are even transphobic. To anyone else out there who is struggling, young or old, you aren't alone. There are always going to be people here for you. Don't lose hope, and remember that you aren't going to find yourself in a day. It takes a lot of time, and some trial and error, to find who you want to be. Stay safe guys, gals and nonbinary pals!!

With the ones i take for example it says that if you miss one of the middle of the blister it's pretty much ok, the danger is missing the first pill of the month or the last. Also, if you missed it, the recomendation is to just use a condom for two days( if you were not already using it).

For example, birds did not exist 65 million years ago but there was a creature called the Archeopteryx which was a reptilian animal with feathers. This animal is the ancestor of all bird species'.

I don't like commenting on things, but when you read the one about your voice I felt it and wanted to share. I'm 9 months into living as a girl full time and I don't quite pass despite my best intentions, primarily due to my voice. It's honestly quite fascinating how many people give up on the common decency act around me when they hear what I sound like. I did have one boy talk to me and when I spoke, he apologised and said "forgive me, I thought you were a girl". Girl did not know how to feel at that, you can imagine haha. Voice training is such a daunting prospect to me, no doubt it was for you and anyone else who has had to consider it. My voice is probably the thing I'm most vulnerable with even though I've had nothing in the way of surgery or medication yet, and easily the worst part of my transition so far. Finding you has been somewhat of a godsend for me, I was so close to giving up. Just hearing you speak (and just how beautiful your voice is when you do) it's inspired a confidence in me that everything is going to be okay if I keep working on it. I actually have no idea what that idiot commenter was listening to. Bitch was probably just jealous... I can relate to that! So... thank you! I'll return to just listening and liking.

It takes a while. It'll be fine. My "natural" voice is in the Idris Elba range. But as you get more comfortable in your body, your voice matters less. Today (well, yesterday, since I just woke up) was the first day where I had a bunch of errands and I passed everywhere. I came out July 2018.

Several years ago, I held strong opinions about transgender individuals and abortion... It took me awhile to realize that all that matters is what I do with my life. As far as what people do with their life, as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else, who cares what they do.

After joining the military and seeing the world, I realized that real freedom means ensuring people have the ability to do what they want and long as it is legal and doesn't negatively impact others. No one is telling me how to live my life, why should I be concerned how people live their life?

I've worked with an individual who transitioned male to female while working as a government civilian. This is awesome. I just think that anything transitioning or getting continued HRT should not be in a position to deploy to austere environments in the military. This protects them and the military.
But I'm all for anyone who is trans to hold political office, to work in the government, or even support the military in a wide variety of roles.

I had several issues in my life too. My mother was bisexual and when my dad overheard a conversation between me and my mum (my mum was telling a story about her first crush being a girl and admitted to actually wanting to date girls and boys), he immediately slapped her across the face and verbally and physically abused her. Now, I think I know why my dad did this constantly after my mother committed suicide from the abuse - he was afraid she would cheat on him because he thought she was attracted to more people. Do I think my dad and all men/father figures are terrible people? No!
Ok I think my dad was a terrible person but here I am, in a new home with new parents, safe and sound. I can never forgive what my dad did back then but i still hold on to that hope that he is changed for the better.

@Francesco Damiani This goes well beyond the typical "shitty family" dynamic. Very few people can claim that their family was ruined by their father's "transition". I have a very deep and unique story to tell. Most people don't understand. My entire life course was literally altered for the worse when I was barely in kindergarten. I'd probably already be raising my own family by now, in the home that I grew up in, instead of struggling with endless poverty and depression, and bouncing from place to place. I can't simply forget about all of that, when I'm literally reminded of the damage everytime I wake up. My mom falling into depression and losing that house was a really huge deal. You literally don't get it at all. I can't live my life. It was ruined long time ago when I was born in the middle of someone's gender identity crisis. I'll never shut up about it. I'm even planning on writing a whole damn book about it.

The “you are a man” comments are triggering me, I may be cis, but I have been misgendered, I was really angry but I can’t imagine what it’s like for a trans person, for a person who has been harassed and bullied for just existing, how it must feel to be constantly discriminated just for being a girl who used to be a guy or vice versa.
When I used to debate with super conservative, fundamentalist Christians over same-sex marriage and abortion rights, they would constantly refer to me as "tr*nny". I just don't understand the deep hatred. It wasn't really an insult to me, but I thought it was kinda funny because I'm a cis woman. If they genuinely thought I was trans, they pretty much proved you cannot tell who is cis or trans based solely on appearances. So, gender is indeed a social construct.

I used to be like these people, and I was really toxic back then. I'm so glad that I'm accepting of everyone now, and I can't believe how toxic I used to be. I even ended up question my own gender at one point. Anyway, I like to think of myself as a completely different person now, as I have a more open mind. I hope that if I can change, others can too. i have a trans friend who loves the good place so whenever someone calls him a girl he says “not a girl” and at some point people started calling him a robot so he says “not a robot” the same way janet does with that smile and happy tone

It’s not “fooling anyone” you’re literally not able to tell the difference, even when it comes to their vagina. The only way to realize is through the fact, that she is not able to get pregnant, but even cis-women aren’t always able to do so.

Yall missing OP's point - I also find the whole "haters gonna hate" attitude dismissive. We all agree that the dudes who messaged Samantha suck and have no idea what they're talking about. But when every influencer / celebrity dismisses every complaint as just "haters", sometimes legitimate criticism gets missed. Not all critics are haters
E.g. Here, Sam mentioned that a few of the messages came in on a video where she "Didn't tell a date she's trans". That's a tough decision to make :( If you tell someone too soon, they might reject you based on preconceptions, before getting to know you (many argue this filters out crappy ppl). But if you wait to disclose, it can be seen as deceptive (say, if they want to have a kid one day). It's masking basically, and I actually relate quite a bit as someone with ADHD (of all things), because I know the effects it has in a relationship. Most people get frustrated with me eventually, so I try to minimize it early on in dating.. At the end of the day, if you fall for Sam, it doesn't matter who she was.. but I can say from personal experience, that things aren't always that idealistic in real, long term relationships.

I found this channel on my fyp today and as a biological female who is trying to identify as nonbinary, this really helped me. My family and most of my friends still misgender me a lot and don't use my preferred name, and some of them are even transphobic. To anyone else out there who is struggling, young or old, you aren't alone. There are always going to be people here for you. Don't lose hope, and remember that you aren't going to find yourself in a day. It takes a lot of time, and some trial and error, to find who you want to be. Stay safe guys, gals and nonbinary pals!!

With the ones i take for example it says that if you miss one of the middle of the blister it's pretty much ok, the danger is missing the first pill of the month or the last. Also, if you missed it, the recomendation is to just use a condom for two days( if you were not already using it).
