E46 330i Turbo Build: CX Racing Turbo Manifold Overview and Info

For my 2020 build I am installing a turbo kit on my 2004 BMW 330i drift car. I am using components from a lot of different companies. This is an informational video on the CX Racing E46 Turbo manifold and Downpipe.

I have cxracing turbo kit 3years on my dc5 ..made 435hp first dyno session stock k20a2 then 1year later I upgrade to k24/k20 and make 560hp stock engine... And I have had no issues almost 4yrs and still counting.... Good kits for the buck or for a budget build...

Does anyone know if the CX Racing turbo kit will work with a Z3 3.0i? Same exact engine, different chassis obviously.

Should fit just fine if you get the e36 kit. M52/m54 exhaust side have the same bolt layout. May need a little bit of work but I doubt much.

I was going to order from cx on eBay the manifold and downpipes. Did they stop sending these bad manifolds ? Good vid btw.

Yes. They’ve caught the error and have checked all the manifolds.

i had the same issue with the main flange not matching up and i ended up just making it work

Yeah, I wasn't expecting perfect fitment. But I couldn't get the front half of the manifold to bolt up at all. They're sending me a new one today!

Still running it. Just repaired. Plan on switching to a fresh produce manifold In the off season.
