Corina Corina where you been so long Corina Corina where you been so long I ain’t had no lovin’ since you’re been gone. I love Corina tell the world I do I love Corina tell the world I do Just a little more lovin’ let your heart be true Corina Corina what’s the matter now Corina Corina what’s the matter now You won’t write me no letters you don’t love me no how Goodbye Corina it’s fare you well Goodbye Corina it’s fare you well When I’ll get back any one can tell.
Guys and girls from the gorgeous Tuba Skinny! Every day you all cheer me up! Thanks you! Listening to all of you together and looking at all of you is a pleasure for the soul!
Yes, it creeps up on you, then you are addicted, like me. I have to have some Tuba Skinny every day, good job there are a lot of videos on TH-cam. Enjoy
When I was at school I played the bugle in the school cadet band, when I went to the army the bandmaster asked me what I played and promptly said I would be playing the Tuba. ‘Twas really great times.
No chance of that, they told me that the UK promoters expect them to pay their own air fares plus accomodation, too expensive when yo have to pay for your airline ticket plus a carriage charge for the instruments.
I wish they’d come over to Lake Charles sometime! It’s still south Louisiana through and through, just on the Texas side. All they seem to promote around here is Cajun music, which is good music, but there are other music genres that have equal importance and historical ties to the culture of Southwest Louisiana. (Yes, we are a part of Acadiana, but most people who live here and/or grew up here in the Lake Charles area aren’t Cajuns.) We have Cajun Music, Bluegrass, Dixieland Jazz, Zydeco, Country Music, Southern Gospel Music. That’s what’s so special about Louisiana: Several well established and distinct cultures all living together in one state, each of them being unique to the state of Louisiana. I can’t believe that the cultural music of Louisiana is popular in other countries, I would’ve never guessed that people in Europe ever heard about our state’s music, much less listen to it and have such an appreciation for it! That’s so awesome, makes me happy and grateful to be a Louisianian!
After a long time, I saw the wonderful street performance of the orthodox DIXIELAND JAZZ. Great! Bless the world--- With love from Japan.--- Greait again! MIC MOR
I have no idea why I feel so connected to new Orleans. But I absolutely love the music. I've been all over the east coast but something about new Orleans 💜💜💜💜
It is great to see the whole band doing a great job on a favorite tune. Dizzy is almost as good as Robin and the spare tuba player is a good addition. Nice that they gave him a solo, which was good.
Resurrecting a sound from yesteryear into tomorrow from NOLA, The Eclectic Jewel of the South known around the world, comes this revival Street Band recreating a timeless and contagious spirit that is catching on through TH-cam and spreading to all corners of the Earth. Kudos to Shaye Cohn and all of the fantastic TS musicians. You guys really gel like I haven't heard in a long time.
Todos los días, incluyendo los feriados, me doy un baño musical con Tuba Skinny y quedo física y espiritualmente nuevo, fortalecido y lleno de felicidad y nostalgia. ¡Que de recuerdos!
great music, just love it ,great change from Irish stuff we get here. But where is the great washboard guy ,?? we Want him back.keep playining all love fxxx
Deserves every one of the 310,00 views, 2,300 likes and 146 comments ...... so far. Like so many other of their videos. Great thanks to RaoulDuke504, DigitalAlexa, James Sterling, Pops Coffee (including his blog), and several others here and abroad.
Amen! As far as I am concerned, these fine folks have done more to promote New Orleans and it's music scene than anyone...many thanks to each and all of you!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊👍
Raoul Duke - Many thanks ! Fine recording of a terrific band ... and 'next day'. Appreciated by so many of us. Just bought a couple more of their earlier CD's ... were I there I would have dropped more than the price in the tip bucket. Such great music; and I think playing on the street in the New Orleans sunshine is better than any other venue. They, and you, deserve our support.
Tuba Skinny is the group that got me on my recent " jugband" kick, like I had been on from the '60s. I wanna build a banjolin soon, as mando is my main interest. Cheers to all these wonderful folks making GREAT music.
Thanks for the video i simply have to travel there from here in the UK sometime. i could sit there all day and listen there without a care in the world ;-)
Oh god ,how I'd love to be on that pavement, oops sidewalk and listen to and sway along to this band, maybe someday I'll be able to fly over from Scotland and listen to this and take in the whole fantastic atmosphere, they are brilliant , bravo.
Well said Wallace ,she can smoke in my face anytime, fuck all this health bullshit , people have smoked and drank for hundreds of years,we knew the risks but we said fuck it,they say if you don't drink or smoke or eat juicy steaks or fornicate you will live longer, that's not true it just SEEMS longer.ie your bored out your fuckin skull.
If I close my eyes , they remind me of The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band.....except Capt. M'Box were hilarious ....but sounded similar to this..... anyhoo....these guys are superb...I stumbled upon them accidentally and it has been great listening :)
I must admit I do prefer the young man who is on most of the videos I’ve seen, I think he kept a better beat and was much more of a showman. The complete ensemble sounds amazing as always.
They are based in New Orleans and tour the world. They were in France in July. If you go to New Orleans and look on the streets with tourists you will find music. If you speak like a friend all the musicians are friendly.
I've been searching back for this video after I read the recent complaint about Greg Sherman smoking on camera. I assume that the smoking washboard player is the fabulous Dizzy. What style! Great fun.
Gordon Bainbridge Such casual garring is certainly an affectation and is as unattractive as the music is beautiful. Plus it STINKS and is a rude assault on both musicians and passers-by.

Yes, it creeps up on you, then you are addicted, like me. I have to have some Tuba Skinny every day, good job there are a lot of videos on TH-cam. Enjoy
I discovered them a week ago and haven’t stopped listening since.
Yes, I feel that, too. They are one of the most recognizable trad bands going. And with some 400-500 song repertoire. Wow!
Corrine Corrina? This song should go viral : ) Thanks for the classic jazz!
Love listening to these folks, great music, wonderful band members, lots of fun!!!
Recently discovered this band, love it!! RIP Leon Redbone , can you imagine how much he would have loved this.
Saw them live once......want to head to NO and see them in their natural element. One of the greatest jazz bands.
Can guarantee it is everything you expect and more. Saw them on in NO on my anniversary after listening for years.
Love, love, love this group of ultra talented musicians, did I remember to say I love them.
My grandma song this all the time. You can’t help but stop and listen to T S If you are down and sad they will cheer you up LOVE it
This is better than the usual TubaSkinny, maybe their best performance
Where have these people been all my life?
Agreed!
It's great seeing Dizzy playing the washboard with TS. One beautiful lady along with Shayne. A great talented and attractive duo.

I've been listening to your music for the last several years and there's no music that's more authentic to me! Special thanks to Erica!

They are having a lot of fun making good music.Thank you.
When I was at school I played the bugle in the school cadet band, when I went to the army the bandmaster asked me what I played and promptly said I would be playing the Tuba. ‘Twas really great times.
Absolutely wonderful magnificent real talent, beautiful ensemble of exquisite musicians including atmospheric the presence of Erica Lewis,
That tuba player ripped that solo a new one ! Awesome
they are just so laid back... no effort... it's just natural ...
Really good to hear New Orleans Jazz being played by a young band. Hope they come to the UK sometime.
mike newell ....Yes I hope 🤞 they do Mike....
@@andrewdavies6273 They actually tour Europe each summer. This is a great band to watch live.
Me too!
No chance of that, they told me that the UK promoters expect them to pay their own air fares plus accomodation, too expensive when yo have to pay for your airline ticket plus a carriage charge for the instruments.

I wish you rainbows.
LOVE it!! Love how that skinny tuba soloed, then blew a walkdown and the whole dang band kicked in with a bang!!
I notice, Shaye is joining in on the repeated second line as well as Erika. Great stuff!
It is a pleasure to listen to jazz great and true
I have no idea why I feel so connected to new Orleans. But I absolutely love the music. I've been all over the east coast but something about new Orleans 💜💜💜💜
Love the movement of the guest percussionist, and the feel and movement, entertaining twist to that old goodie
Oh I so love this group and thank you for sharing!
It is great to see the whole band doing a great job on a favorite tune. Dizzy is almost as good as Robin and the spare tuba player is a good addition. Nice that they gave him a solo, which was good.

If that sweet girl wants to smoke she’s going to smoke. Love ya’, Dizzy
OK
She's just realistically recreating part of that time long gone... jajaja

anyhoo....these guys are superb...I stumbled upon them accidentally and it has been great listening :)
I'd like to have 'em at home. Live everyday!
Superb. Just my kind of music.
Good music has life and rhythm, unlike some. Instrument and dress doesn't matter much. Talent does. Gotta love Louisiana.
Elephant, does the tube play nicely? Yes Andrew, I could not play so nicely on my tube.
These are great musicians. It seems they have a small core group with others just showing up. Regardless, they have it all together.
Well, the sit-in tuba...uh... nevermind.
Now that's what I call music ...
Wonderfull ...!!!
Fantastisk musik, kan inte bli mer "äkta" än detta, måste vara underbart att få uppleva detta live!
Fabuloso, me gusta como suenan cada instrumeto
Now that's one smokin' washboard!
DEFNE "DIZZY" INCIRLIOGLU of Shak'em Up Jazz Band
