Hi Chris,
This is a video that would have made my decision much easier last month. I ended up ordering the BX2822 because I figured the extra width could only save me time. Right now I end up snowblowing for 6 hours with my old 1973 bolens HT23 and the 42" single stage thrower. I didn't realize that the extra gearbox would make such a big difference. Ended up going with the cab as well, I've had enough of going home with icicles in my beard.
Keep doing what you're doing, you guys seem to consistently make unique videos on options that aren't fully showcased anywhere else.
Thanks for watching & commenting, have some interesting videos for august lined up
So the question is, If the 73 bolens took you 6 hours, how long does it take for the BX2822 take to clear the same?
Also, which tractor are you using to power it?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
@@klayvonisme I actually changed course since writing this comment and bought a used LX2610 with the LX2980 64" blower.
With the new tractor it takes me about an hour to do the driveways that used to take 6. If Im feeling particularly generous I can do all the neighbors (~25 driveways) in 4 hours.
Great job presenting. I guess i am going out to buy on this week .
Thanks for the comparison. If i would ever be able to pick up a bx i would definitely spend the extra money to do the heavy duty 48 inch.
Thanks for watching
I’m glad I would get the extra brackets for the higher price! makes me feel like I getting what I paid for.
I bought a BX2830 on a BX2680 tractor r4 tires. No regrets. Dashing through the snow. Never plugged it up.
Nice, enjoy the unit & thanks for sharing
Good comparison
Why is the open box more efficient?
I think I would prefer a slanted back because there’s no snow left inside when done, similar to a walk behind blower.
I don’t like the way I always have snow on the bottom shelf of the box design.
Can you explain more about the extra gear box on heavy duty?
A similar review of 3 pt blowers would be great!
Why does everybody overdrive the snowblowers??
That was my thought and he’s trying to say that the heavy duty is more efficient is a bunch of crap. If you operate them like you should there’s almost no difference in the job they do. The difference is in how they are built. I have both and that’s my opinion
That’s my observation as well.
Can you please make a video of the 50th anniversary rtv 850?
We got the sandstone colour, is that the 50th special for the states?
Ha, you had the BX2830 on a BX2380, that's confusing. 😆
Take that stupid wire guard off the chute & end your plugging probem. That’s where the wet snow starts hanging up & gradually plugs everything down to the fan. I know because I used a blower like that on a Kubota forward control machine.
Commercial grade FTW
you didnt operate the normal blower properly just trying to upsell bullshit comparison
head to your local Kubota dealership and try them out, see which one is better for your needs
