Nice video. However, front tires up is not typically what one expects to see in float mode (10:05). Float regulates the hydraulic pressure to allow the bucket or other attachments to follow the contour of the ground, it usually will not allow a front end lift.

The 1880 should have a bigger motor, for that price and the capabilities of the tractor you should be able to use it as it was intended, it should not be underpowered in the rear p.t.o., it's a subcompact tractor, give it the power to handle implements, that's an expensive tractor just to cut grass.

This is a bad vehicle because it is obviously a gasoline operated vehicle, but if you get an electric powered one, I am very interested.

Does the mid pto need to be at an exact specific rpm I have a new kubota lx4020 and have heard you need to have to at around 540 or higher but for ease of use is it okay to just rev it to 2200-2500 rpm and start blowing or does it need to be more specific thanks in advance 😀

Year I have a 2022 850 sidekick. The worst thing about it is you cannot ease. It's too jerky when you start off way too jerky and reverse is too fast

I have a GR 2120 diesel. I think Kubota needs to honk their own horn over the glide steer feature I really love mine. Made the jump from a John Deere to the GR. I kept the Deere and on occasion, We mom side by side. John Deere makes a great mower However, the GR 2120 will mow circles around it

I have owned a Gr2120 for the past 4 years and I have to admit it has been the best mower I have owned. I haven’t had any of the issues that were described in this video, and overall it performance cutting short or tall grass is exceptional. I have a very hilly yard and this is one of the only mowers, that is a true lawn tractor, that can mow the yard with no issues. The mower just sticks to the hills going up or down or sideways. This mower has a turning radius of about 18” or so, it isn’t a zero turn but it has the shortest turning radius than any other lawn tractor out there that I am familiar with. It is an expensive mower but the value seems to be there given it’s ability to handle nearly any yard.

What a POOR comparison! You did NOT do a full cut with the flail mower but put the slasher through full on. You also had the slasher set too high for a proper cut! Your trailing wheel wasn't even on the ground so its naturally not going to cut but layover the grass! Put the flail mower through the same uncut section as the slasher and see how that goes! 🤦‍♂🤪🤦‍♂
