    Hey Ross, ever consider buying a good quality air powered grease gun? I considered a battery powered unit, but opted for air power as I only use the grease gun every now and then. I bought a 'Lincoln' gun. top quality and works like a dream.
    Another tip and or suggestion, Next time you are in an Automotive hardware or electric supplies shop, consider buying yourself a little tube of 'dielectric grease' it'll keep your electrical connections corrosion free.
    P.S. I do like those storage racks/casters you have, great idea! (I'm old fashioned ( sometimes ), I still us "P.S". in comments :)

      Thanks Reg, we are definitely looking at a powered grease gun, but will probably go Milwaukee battery as we are in that ecosystem.
      Having fun with a bit of snow, know lots more to come for sure. 😁 This blower is a beast! See how it makes short work of all this now! Bahaha. Have a good one.

    Any thoughts about getting some kind of enclosure for the winter to help from getting the "Face Wash" when the snow blows back on you. I keep saying I will build one form my tractor but never seem to get to it. I was able to go out snow blowing last weekend with only 10 inches of the white stuff on the ground. It's always a great feeling to wake up to a clean yard. The setup you have for those roller stands is Great to by the way. Love the vids, and can't waite for more snow blowing videos. • @RossOnTheLand
      @RossOnTheLand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's an excellent idea, but would need some way to guarantee the leading lip isn't caught or the snow could get in behind, but great idea.

      @@RossOnTheLand Yeah, upon initial review it looks like a few people have tried a few variations of some DIY versions, but I also see some of our large city plows that have the entire plow face covered with a sheet of it, so I imagine if the surface is properly prepped and the right adhesive is used anything is possible. Just staring at it I figure it's going to have to be many specifically measured and cut pieces.

    Interested in a similar setup (same tractor ) and snowblower. What’s the deepest snow you have removed? This would be a my vacation property and I would have to do 700 meters of driveway and depending on snow load while I’m not there, may need to remove 1-2’ feet at a time

    • @RossOnTheLand
      @RossOnTheLand  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Excellent combination for snow! I have no problem at all doing that depth. If it's really deep you can just go slower and any snow above the augers will fall over the top and under but I have no issues driving through what's left of you wanted to do a second pass. If it's really deep snow you could just raise the blower to take a high pass, then a low pass to finish it off but honestly in my experience I just drive through everything!
