Third times a charm! My husband and I both were divorced twice and never intended to marry again. The moment we saw each other we knew we would marry. It's been 25 years now and we are best friends and get along like two peas in a pod!

My Malaysian Chinese wife is the best. Honest, hardworking, PhD educated, beautiful. Amazingly she had been classed as leftover woman as over 30. After one date, our chemistry was so strong we decided to marry and three years later both live in UK.
Don't remember Malaysia having the idea of left over women, however, Chinese in Malaysia tend to vary, those more in-tune in western media and outlook will tend to avoid mixing with majority of the local population due to their inability to interact with them normally, they typically also have another perspective of what Malaysia or the culture really is - when they put in the effort to exposed their background to others.
Chinese guys want younger women. So if one is over 30, it's harder to find a mate. Lol

Story of my life
Angus Lee Not always, when I met my now wife the first time we had already basically decided that short of finding some hidden deal breaking thing about the other, we would get married and try to have children. We communicated online and by phone before my visit, and a little less than a year after my first visit she had moved to my country and we started wedding preparations and were actually wed less than a year from our first encounter. 3 months later she was pregnant.
Not all people see it as being primarily a romantic love thing, although that also usually is there.
In case you are interested I'm European and my wife is Japanese.

The big thing that western people overlook when you say "you marry the family" isn't just that you marry into their family, but they are also marrying into YOUR family. At this point I've had more than one relationship with an asian person turn when they realized my family doesn't mesh with their ideals. Just because your family is cool with you finding someone from overseas, doesn't mean your potential partner is going to just be cool with them automatically.
My wife is Malaysian. We have two sons, 21 and 17. We live in Northern Cal east of Sacramento. She attended 6th grade in America and First Form in England. Her native language is actually English. Has a diploma from Malaysian Institute of Technology and a BS in Finance from Cal State Sacramento. I was specifically looking for an Asian girl friend who could go the distance and she was looking for "a Yank, a man like you." She has seen more of America than I have, has been to Japan, England, Scotland. We're in our third decade of marriage. My mother was born in London, raised in Perth. My father was in US Navy six years some of it in the US Asiatic Fleet, nearly all in the Pacific. Served from '39 to '45. She and I fit the parameters you set up for mixed marriages that work. I know of 3 mixed marriage involving Malaysians that did not fit your recommendations and did not work. Wife's father did undergrad work in Queensland, phd. in England. My brother-in-laws have masters in engineering from UK. One brother-in-law has Danish wife with a fashion business in Malaysia. Her father was a career-long expat. She worked for one year as the manager of a resort on Easter Island. I enjoy my periodic visits to Malaysia and the East.

I had a Chinese girlfriend for two and half years. We met at university in the UK and fell in love. Watching any foreigner living in China with their Chinese girlfriend or wife makes me long for that again myself, because it's such a special and delicate bond that you have which winds itself across two cultures. I miss being in a relationship with like that.. it's like two souls from different worlds coming together, and it's magic. That experience I would recommend to anyone who wants to open themselves to new horizons.

Cook for the mother-in-law, drink with the father-in-law and you will be fine. I couldn't even speak the same language as my in-laws (Shanghainese) when I met them but it worked out good.

Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar was used in the movie "Flight of the Phoenix" (2004) is an awesome Medium Cargo Aircraft, replaced by the C-130 Hercules still in service. The fighter is the Northrop F-5E Tiger II (has the oval nose). It has that gorgeous female coke bottle shaped fuselage. My favourite fighter of all time. So many aircraft derived from it, T-38, FA-18, F-20 and many X-Planes. Thank you for sharing.

The C-130 replaced the C-47 which unlike the 119 is still flying commercial flights and is the only aircraft that makes cargo movement in central America possible. Little short dirt or clay runways hauling food, fuel, people and livestock to people who live without roads.

Haha, no C-Milk was saying that because of how many times Winston has worked that into a vlog. For Winston to say he didn't know if he'd mentioned it was kinda crazy given how often he's said it. Winston's response was perfect. That said I think Winston says it so often not to be pretentious but because he loves his wife and is proud of her.

My wife found me online from china nanning Guangxi her family is military very high ranking 2 star General...my wife could read english but could not speak so we used google translator sometimes it did not translate words properly but we managed to understand each other.
I agree with half or more of your findings about the chinese people i have traveled to harbin to all the way to thailand. Yes there are many things i do not like but that is their culture and the way they do things and somethongs you will never understand or will understand.
I have been married to my wife for 10 years and i would never change that it was the best thing that happen in my life. We live in california and we travel a lot to china to see family and friends that we have made....its always something new to learn about china and the rich history that i enjoy.

You asked us to leave a comment on how we met our wives or girlfriends......We actually met online and she is the one who chose me because of my profile. After one week we both knew we had a good connection and after nearly 6 years now it has only become stronger and we are both very lucky to have found each other and we both feel we are a perfect match. We plan to get married as soon as her visa is approved!! Now I am planning my third trip to China and can't wait!

It just happens. Like with my wife. I am Asian, wanted to marry a white girl. Dated German, Greek, Mexican, Argentinian, but end up with Korean? Just happened. No regret for 12 years now. She just knows me, better than me. I can’t hide anything from her. She can tell when I’m lying. Only other person that can do that to me was my mom.

I’m from a Dutch family born in Australia and my husband was born in China. I don’t speak Chinese my in laws don’t speak English our 3 year old son speaks both Chinese and English and often translates for me. Or we just get buy not having to have big talks. They are very Chinese just walk into our hour rearrange our drying washing ect but we make it all work out fine. There has been some incidents that needed to be sorted out by my husband talking to his parents about the Australian life and it’s mostly wonderful over all. My husband is my best friend and everything else I need him to be. I’m very very lucky.

I'm an American white man who has dated a couple of American black women and found the "cross cultural" problems to be as large or larger than if they'd been Chinese. But it's just as easy to run into big differences when dating within your own race and nationality -- people are amazingly variable in their likes, dislikes, and goals in life.
My thoughts are, we are raised to believe we are to be with our kind(race). It will be difficult for someone to share in an interracial relationship if outside opinions are considered a subject of concern in your relationship. Not saying that can’t be overcome but it would definitely irritate.
Simply put, it takes 2 very open minded individuals that have a true love for each other.
Do you know the risk of you’re children if you were to mix and have kids ?

Are you guys in Taiwan? The fighter jet was either a F5 E Tiger, or older F5A freedom fighter. Then there is C119 cargo plane. They were ROCAF planes. I’m originally from there.

Really enjoy your videos. Great to see how you met your wives. I’ve dated a few beautiful Chinese woman, as well as Thai. What I have come to appreciate is finding a woman who reflects the same values and has a chemistry that’s hard to explain. You chose well! We are about six weeks short of our 41st anniversary. We even had two weddings - one in his hometown in one state and one across the continent in mine. We each had very different concepts of what the wedding was because of the very different denominations we grew up in. It was important to both of us to let the other one fulfill that dream. We also didn’t want to keep family and friends who were important to us out of the wedding-so we had 2! We even had two sets of blood tests and wedding licenses in each state because we didn’t want one wedding to be “the real wedding” and one wedding not to be “real.” We each have fond memories of the whole deal and we love getting to celebrate for two days straight!

@Osman Oglu I have a large chunk of Nationl Geographics in storage, and one of them from the late 20s early 30s had nn article on Taiwan, which was Formosa at the time, and under the Japanese. It was treated as the home of fairly primitive natives. The island came under Chinain the late 17th century and went to the Japanese in the late 19th century, just before the Boxer Rebellion, I believe. The Chinese government has this idea that if they ever controlled territory, it forever Chinese, thus their siezure of Tibet, which actually once controlled parts of China.
Enjoyed your video very much. It doesn't matter who you chose in your life. You must follow your heart. Wherever she is Chinese or not is not the reason. It is about chemistry. It is about what you feel and what your heart tells you. From your past video I've seen of both Vivian and Sasha..... you guys are lucky to have found that special one. They both have a good sense of humor ( which I think it's important) and they make you guys look good. But, with all due respect it goes both ways. I have been watching you guys channels for a couple months, so there are a lot of videos I need to catch up. I have been enjoying them, but especially this one. The mountain where you and C-Milk visited, I grew up there, the airplane you stopped and looked at, I walked passed it everyday when I was a high school student. Being far away from home and watched this video, I just want to thank you for doing road trip not only in China but in Taiwan as well. I also enjoyed the videos I have watched so far. Thank you.

Guys, the prop plane is a C-119 flying boxcar, A U.S. Air Force plane used during the Korean War. The jet is a U.S. F-5 Tiger a variant of the T-38 trainer used during the Vietnam War.

I found a unicorn of a Chinese family. They all accepted me! Even the father! (Though he doesn’t say much). I think it helps that I have some Chinese ability. (Don’t totally escape the stereotype though, they keep asking about the grandkids!)

Well, I met my now girlfriend thanks to a video posted by C-milk -I guess? It's been so long- about hello talk. That was back in 2017.
Now, I'm travelling to meet her family in a few months this year. It's kinda sad I won't have the hope to meet you guys in China, but I wanted to take this chance to thank you guys. If it weren't for your videos, I wouldn't have been able to meet this amazing person.

Yep, that's a terrible thing to do...peer pressure to marry just because everybody else around you is. Sheep mentality and it's even more prevalent because of social media...you see all your friends status updates or you're attending like 4 weddings in a year and then you think something is wrong with you...this is a frequent topic coming up with friends of mine who are all in their thirties. It's your life, your future wife or husband and you choose when. Do it for the right reasons and for the right person
