Hey Chad! I can't believe you didn't go German made heater😂. I installed a Chinese diesel air heater in my truck, I'm not sure how much pulling power the little fuel pump has. It may have trouble getting fuel up that large internal fuel tank pick up tube when the tank not full. If you have this problem I bought an air heater pickup tube that's threaded, I drilled and tapped the brass plug on the fourway fitting on the LMTV tank. Works great. Love your videos and humor.

Great job as usual! I found a TH-cam channel called John McK 47. Australian fellow that will cover everything you ever want to know about installation, maintenance, and operation of these heaters. I was going to install one of the German made units, but he convinced me to go Chinese. The series is long and he talks slow, but it’s worth checking out if haven’t already. I watched it at 1.5X speed…. Locking forward to future videos.

One down! Looked like it was a bit of trouble, sorta.
I feel that you will not want to leave your fuel pump zip tied.
I look forward to your next adventure!

Congrats..... get a vacuum radiator fill adapter for your reservoir... works great for cars typically are around $50... and will suck a shitload of air out.

    Looks good!
One question….. how does that water heater heat water without heating the camper air? In summer you may not want camper heat.
    In joying the videos!

It has an 800 watt heater as well. In the summer I should have sun to power the inverter or charge the battery.

looks great, pump was extremely quiet compared to many installations I have seen. I was bit concerned about the distance the fuel pump has to push fuel (if it the version I am familiar with they are designed to pull rather then push fuel). It might burn it out faster than normal, but as long as you carry a spare (you should carry a spare of that pump, they don't last and always die and at the worst time)
For safety reason I hope you are adding a piece of exhaust pipe to the end of the muffle, some things are not worst risking

Good call, I’ll added the exhaust pipe add on. I’ve also ordered a second fuel pump.

Do you by chance have a link to that heater? I have not seen one of those that heat air and water from china yet, need one for my GMC van.

Just a heads up: the coolant tank you are using won't do well with any type of pressure because of the clear tubing and those view fittings. Ask me how I know. Plug those holes if you don't want a coolant leak on your floor.
Any luck getting a new remote from Steve? I have had 0 luck for 2 years.
You will love the diesel hydronic setup.

Got it from Alibaba.com. If you message the vendor from the link in the description they can send you an English version. On the overflow, I left the lid loose so there is zero pressure buildup and I think I’m just going to leave it that way. I was going to replace it with a 15psi automotive cap. But, it’s working now. :). So… lazy might win out.

@@BrokeOverLand the clear tubing failed on mine but that was a long time ago.
