Thanks for the shout out... that little Boy Scout trailer got pulled out of the weeds the morning of the event. With new tires for the lights, it was good to go. Love the video of the "pit of despair" on the obstacle course. Really shows what that Zero Torsion subframe can do to protect that habitat. Of course, the LMTV made it look easy. :-D
That zero torsion subframe had a work out, but shows what solid engineering can do. I've been watching for a while now, and I think I finally understand it.
Adora Belle was in there for just a very short clip (the dust obviously didn't help) but thanks for including it because I rarely get to see what she looks like from the outside going through stuff.
Yea, I saw the habitat mounting system on Dave's rig. Didn't understand what I saw. Don't know how it did that. Can't blame you for not doing the course either. When is the next build video? Late Fall?

never understood the point of rallies like this. You build/buy a rig like this to get away from everyone not gather in packs and sniff each others butts.
@@tgreening what are you on about, I enjoy his channel because he is talented and building a project I really like. Going hand in hand with this is the reason why people want to have a off road camper and not a conventional RV is to get away from people like you.

Getting a bunch of vehicles together to take a look around and see what works, what doesn't work, and just get a bunch of ideas for how you can improve your own setup and equipment.
Call it research. I don't want to have to reinvent the "whatever" if I find someone at a rally that already has invented it. It also looks like a lot of fun to test the vehicles in a safe environment than to get stuck 10 miles off the beaten path.
This channel is under rated. Solid dry humor supported with some of the best OCD engineering on TH-cam.

Chad, so Bill weighed his truck today... fully loaded, 22,800, with a 16' habitat. Not bad for going down in that hole. Can't wait for you next video.
We weighed ours on the way back from the overland expo. We are also at 22k with a 13’ habitat.

On the Cantor white single cab with the porch early on in the video... . Is the porch a slide out that wraps the box when slid in?
Nope. It looked like it was just open space and the wall with the hot water heater was the door that closed off the box.
