Nice selection with the yank. I got a yank 3200 myself along with a stage 4 FLT 4L60E And i LOVE it.

@jeffhobbs1729 with a stall converter? With my 3200 you can barely tell its stalled unless I told you, but when you mash the pedal be prepared. When I dropped in the built trans, with stall and retune car felt Totally different. I was contemplating a 3600 but idk how that would have been for street driving
@@aliwooz913 Appreciate that i think small like 3200 would be the way to go for daily or toy as i still like stock drivability and dont want it to sound strange all the time being in waay to high revs. but you make WOT sound fun, i really just want more throttle response and help mitigate the dead spots in that A4
@jeffhobbs1729 definitely go with the yank 3200 brand you will NOT be disappointed. Also use the tru-kool max 50k trans cooler. Keep those trans Temps nice and cool
Automatic transmission converter bolts to a flexplate its a flywheel if it has a manual transmission with clutch disk and pressure plate the throwout bushing or bearing. I added a 2400 rpm stall converter to my 77 formula 400 big difference from stock. You did nice work good choice of parts.
slippage of the higher stall creates more heat the cooler helps maintain normal temps even with more slippage.

Those metal trans lines have a quick disconnect no need to unscrew them
I'm stuck between stage 1 cam that asks for 2400 rpm and stage 2 cam that asks for 2800 plus rpm. My tuner recommend that I don't go too high he has its bad or not good drive ability on highway. Is this true. Do you have any regrets regarding a 3000 rpm one versus a lower 2400 rpm one as opposed to the cam stages like BTR cam NA stage 1 or 2.
I'm not sure what I should do. Get a 2400 or 3000 rpm one. How does it affect Regular driving.
It doesn’t really effect drivability other then make your car faster off the line. If you daily a 3000 stall with a good cam to your setup then you’ll be fine, high way driving is between 1700-2200 rpm in 4th gear if you have a firebird or camaro. & first gear won’t shift depending on your tune & stall you get so just be aware first gear is going to take forever to shift bc of the stall haha

@@GreatestHITS26 hows the transmission holding up? First thing to go will be the 3-4 clutch pack due to the 3-4 piston in the input drum leaking fluid past its seal.
