Nice ride runs better about right with that exhaust . An auto transmission uses a stall converter that has slippage before lockup and clutch packs that are much smaller than a manual transmissions clutch and flywheel vs pressure plate in auto trans. There is always more loss on a dyno with and automatic transmission due to slippage in Atf fluid. The dry clutch flywheel and pressure plate with manual gearbox always puts more to the driveshaft and wheels. Use to say 85% engine dyno flywheel horsepower to the wheels with manual and 80-82% with an automatic. The auto shifts more consistantly than people and usually will win more races I drive 6spd manual I like to shift the gears. My old firebird had an automatic with a manual/automatic valve body and a Mr. Gasket shifter could manually shift the automatic no clutch pedal best of both worlds. Usually the manual transmission cars have a lower rear differential gear ratio than automatic also. 3.42 manual 3.23 or 2:70 Automatic.
