It is possible to get them on the same day as your consultation. It just depends on the orthodontist you go to I guess.

Your video was very helpful. I have a free consultation appointment with my local orthodontist already set up. I was recommended twice when I was younger that I needed braces but my parents never got them for me. Because they thought my younger sister needed them more than me at the time. Then last Christmas I went back home and my mom took me to a different dentist for teeth cleaning they said I need braces again but recommend I have my wisdom teeth removed first which I did last month.

Nice office you have, I'll be going to my 3rd consultation. First one, went in to just talk about what I wanted. Came back a month later for images, 306 dollars. Second one, they said theyd take images from the first, but after talking and seeing me further. Now they are asking me to come back 250 for their own records. That appt is the 9th next month. With a 7250 treatment plan. I then made an appt for the third. This coming Thursday. Another consultation that might require me coming back again for images that once again I'd probably have to pay for. My daughter used them in 2018. I can't remember the process for her. If it was in and out but I do remember them saying if we stayed with them after the consultation that we didn't have to pay 175 for the images even those the breakdown and receipt later showed they did charge us. But they were a really good office. The only issue is price. So I'll see what that is on Thursday. Crossing my fingers because 7250 is a lot right now.

If all of your teeth aren’t grown in yet, can you still get braces?
yes often we will apply braces to make space for the teeth that are coming through, this is very situation specific though so consult an Orthodontist before doing anything

I went to the orthodontist yesterday it was my first consultation, they took pictures of my teeth , then they put some clay like thing in my mouth to take the shape of my teeth, but they didnt took any x-rays and i told him when i move my jaw to the left side it clicks.

I have a really severe overbite that is causing eating problems and almost all my top teeth are happy and when I put my bottom and top jaw together there’s a huge gap in between and because of my overbite four of my top teeth show and I feel really self conscious about my teeth and face shape

Most first appointments are simply a consultation, where we assess what kind of treatment we would recommend. In our practices we do offer same day starts, which means if you accept our treatment recommendation then you could receive braces the same day.
So i had my nhs one and they only did one appointment and only xrays no moulds! So on friday im getting my top braces 😁

You may experience a little discomfort, but it should only be very a very short period of time. If you are experiencing ongoing pain, then I would suggest you talk with your Orthodontist.

That depends on you, my friend did. But if you can’t then make sure to get a note from your orthodontist so show it to the school so it can be an excused abscence

yes! you need to remove them because you can’t move your adult teeth without making space for them, i have the same problem and before my braces i need to get one of my baby teeth pulled!

This is not necessary for all braces types, for example with invisalign you do not need this

Yes, you cannot have cavities or any plaque. Or any of that stuff that builds up in your bottom teeth. I suggest you go to the dentist and get that fixed before you go to the orthodontist.

If you have insurance you will have some coverage there, and orthodontists do offer payment plans.

My two front teeth overlay eachother and the tooth next to it has a gap and my bottom teeth there’s two that overlap w no gaps and I have an overbite will I need braces

I went to a appointment where they put a mold in my mouth X-ray and then they had to wait 6 to 8 week for the insurance to contact me telling me if they approved me and then they said they approved me so I’m going next week but they said next week they’ll give me the rest of the appointments what will they do at my appointment will I get my braces next week or how long more ? This will be dependent on the doctor, it can vary from doctor to doctor

I would suggest based on this initial description that braces may be a good option for you to align your teeth. If I was you, I'd visit an orthodontist for a consultation.
