Let me outline what you can expect when you come in for your first orthodontic visit. There are a lot of things to discuss so the better prepared your are for your braces appointment the better your treatment may go.

@@Gamemastermac I get them on the 27th of this month, only because he’s not there, he’s only there at the beginning and ending of each month. i get my cleaning on the 23rd, they always have to clean, do fill ins, etc before they put them on.

I want braces so badly because my teeth are really crooked and everyone always teases me about it 😫 I try to be strong and not care when people make fun of my teeth, and I even joke about them sometimes too, but it can be so hard when it’s so constant and that’s all people can say…my bottom teeth are a little uneven and crowded, but my front teeth have a big gap and look like they’re separating 😬 I have my first orthodontist appointment in about 2 weeks and I hope they give me good news about my teeth and a time that is soon when I can get my braces 🤞🏼 My goal is to get braces by the time I start high school in September so nobody can make fun of my teeth AT ALL during my 4 years in high school :-)

Sadly for me, my problem is complex and that ortho didn’t clear what my treatment plan would be, just told me my teeth will be straighter but nothing much they can do. 😢
Tomorrow is my orthodontist appointment I had to leave Invisalign because they could not do the job right having to move to metal hope there better

I am going to the orthodontist tomorrow for the first time!! Idk if I'm going to get braces right away or not so I'm really scared! I'm gonna update the result tomorrow UPDATE: ok so I didn't get my braces on right away butttt the orthodontist looked at my teeth did a scan and took like photos of my teeth and put it in a sort of program instead of the minty thingy. Next month she will know what kind of braces I need and how to handle my braces and stuff and after that, I get them on buttt there's a chance of me needing an operation bc my jaw is too far away because I have a really deep overbite. oK I'll update next month!! OKKKKK firs tof all sorry for not updating but yeh I am updating now! So don't be mad. Ok so I am getting those block braces everyone has on and after 1,5 years of braces (probably) I am going to get an operation for my jaw but I get my braces on 27/04 so only 22 days left! I'll update!

Im going in like 2 months and I’m almost 10 I would be ten in June already
I am so fed up of waiting for braces. My teeth have always been crowded but like 3 years ago my teeth shifted really badly and they’ve made me feel so insecure and all I’ve ever wanted is my smile back :( I’ve been on the braces waiting list for 3 whole years now and my first orthodontist appointment is tomorrow. I’m kindaaa scared now lol but I’m legit gonna be so sad if they make me wait longer for the braces😭😭 I’m praying I get them on tomorrow because it has been 3 painful years of waiting :(((

Yup. We put braces on right after your consultations.
i went to the ortho since i was 8 , but i didn’t have a consultation until i was 14 and i got them the same day

What happens if you want braces for a deep bite but dont know how its gonna happen
your probably gonne get just the top braces at first or they will do both and put these stopper thing at the back teeth to stop u from biting down all the way so ur top teeth dont hit ur bottom brackets. maybe this will help? no idea
How long is it from your first time going to the orthodontist to the time you get braces

I went to the dentist today and they told me to go to the orthodontist because I have gaps and my teeth are a little bit to far up. I have straight teeth tho. I go to the orthodontist in a week for the first consultation. Would I get them the same day ? Or do they have to make all the molds and stuff first with more consultations? EDIT- So I went to the orthodontist and they took pictures and all of that and we sat in a room and talked about everything and then they said I could get them put on the same day so that’s what I did.

At any orthodontist if your teeth had already been cleaned any everything can you get your braces on the first ever appointment and I have like buck teeth can I get braces for that and my bottom teeth are messed up
If u got buck teeth (basically an overbite) and messed up bottom teeth then I’m pretty sure u need braces. Overbites are a sign of misaligned teeth/jaw so braces are definitely something that can help fix that. Along with those messed up bottom teeth.
I had gotten my teeth clean a week ago and my ortho appt is today so does that mean I might get the braces today?
I have both of my wisdom teeth coming and they don’t hurt at all will they give me braces with these or will I get these pulled first?
Everyone is different. Some orthodontists will ask you to take out wisdom teeth first but we don't
