I love it when you & your mom get together. You feed off of each other & are really fun watching. I have heard so many good things about fire cider, but haven’t tried it yet. I need to talk to my Rheumatologist before trying it. I have rheumatoid arthritis & I take medicine to suppress my immune system to keep it from attacking my body. I love you sharing all this with us. 🙏Philippians 1:3🙏

Hi there....I made a 3 liter bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and another 3 liter bottle of Fire Cider in June 2021. That is 14 months ago.
I decided it was time to make a new batch so I strained off both bottles.
I then put the solids of each bottle through my juicer...separately...and was blown away by how much liquid was still in the solids....
I took the apple pulp from the juicer and put it into a bottle with some water and sugar....I am making it into a 2nd ferment to make some apple juice.....
I made another batch of Apple Cider Vinegar adding some of the previous batch plus a Mother that had formed...to the new batch...
I then put the solids from the Fire Cider into my juicer....Again I was thrilled at the amiunt of liquid I got from the solids...it was more spicy than the liquid from the initial bottle as the black pepper corns and ginger were crushed in the juicer....
I used all my Apple Cider Vinegar from the initial bottle to pour into my new batch of Fire Cider...
Only when I pour off a small amount of Fire Cider into a bottle for my daily use do I use half honey and half Fire Cider..Raw Honey is too expensive to add sufficient to the 3 liter bottle.
The pulp from the Fire Cider that came out the juicer I am drying out in the sun to make into seasoning...
    powder...
So I have decanted my 3 liter bottle of ACV and the 3 liter bottle of Fire Cider...both from 14 months ago and made a new batch of each...
I am going to make another 2 bottles of ACV as I need more so as to make Fire Cider...
A 500ml bottle of ACV with The Mother costs R35....I make 3 liters of ACV for R10 of apples....
Do you make Kefir Milk, Sauerkraut and Kimchi? I do and just love my ferments...
    Blessings from Sunny South Africa🌞

I would like to share with you a recipe that I take every morning 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper I chop up One clove of garlic, and let the garlic set For 10 minutes then I add it to my drink a squeeze of a half a lemon and a drizzle of honey. I take this every morning on an empty stomach and before that I drink lemon water try that on an empty stomach in the morning.

I'm trying to catch up with your videos since I'm a new subscriber. I don't know if you will get this question. Can you include stevia leaves in the cider while it is fermenting? Also, how long can you keep this cider on your counter top 'after' you drain it and add the honey? Or, do you keep in the frig, and if so, for how long? Thanks.

Awesome video on the how-tos of fire cider. Ive been looking for an instructional video for a while. I am so happy you posted! I am also grateful for the tip to add a little honey. I do have one question though, and its two parts. The fruit press that you used, what company makes it, and what is it's rated holding capacity? It looks like a Ferrari Fruit press but I cant guess the size. Thank you!

Well I finally did it. I finally bought your course ($284) yestetday!😊 I won't actually be able to garden for a while as I'm currently caring for my 100 year-old mother and her yard is overrun with squirrels whose favorite past time is to pull up whatever I've planted and throw it on the ground roots and all. So, I'm going to try to use this time (what little I have of it) to gather, organize, plot, plan, and prepare. Which leads me to a couple of questions. Parents had a large garden. So I was thinking of reserving a small amount for vegges/fruits, and the rest be herbs. I'm currently thinking of labling each long row. Should I organize rows like say a row for adaptogens, respitory etc. or would you go another route?

Just tried making Fire Cider for the first time, and it came out awful. Even just the smell of it is enough to drive me batty. I might have put too many veggies in the jar, and focused too much on the warmer/spicier side of things. It reminds me of Zing Zang bloody mary mix, and there's not a single bit of tomato in the thing. Cranberries, ginger, turmeric, pepper, lemon, lime, and maybe a few other things I'm forgetting. I had to use some powdered spices b/c I didn't have fresh, and that might have made a difference, too. Overall, yuck! I don't care how healthy it is because.... yuck! Maybe there wasn't enough room left in the jug for enough Apple Cider Vinegar. But, yuck! I'll try adding some honey to the stuff just to make it a little more palatable. Until then, though, I'll be sticking to Honey+Onion for my cough and general well-being. With a splash of cinammon and some garlic cloves, it's very palatable and doesn't smell bad, either.
