    I love fire cider. If I don't feel like a shot, I use it as a spicey salad dressing. When taking as a shot I'll add fresh lime and Himalayan salt.

    I always bought and drank fire cider because I like hot stuff and thought it was.... ?Badass ! never realized just how healthy it is .. no wonder I never get sick , now that im fermenting my own hot sauce from the garden , ill add that to my ferments, and use my own Vinegar... You and Mom are absolute GEMS , love your vids

    Always fun to watch you two do your thing. Secondary containment is always a good idea, way ahead of it you are. Seal the first jar and take shots on the quarter jar, till it is gone.☺😁 🤩You stepped out of frame for the Shimmy, bummer.😂 Go for it Ladies, doing great and keep it going.😎

    I made a quart of Fire Cider and Apple Cider Vinegar in June 2021. Neither of these bottles have been decanted/strained....I just pour off what I need.
    I do stir the contents every few days and have not experienced any mould. The Apple Cider Vinegar has grown a Mother....
    I keep both containers covered with a towel.

    It's actually a good idea to add black pepper to your turmeric fire cider.
    The piperine in black pepper makes the curcumin in turmeric more bio available

    I use about 1/3 of the jar of raw honey when I make Fire Cider the other 2/3 jar will be Apple Cider Vinegar & any juice from the produce.

    I wanted to let you know that about a month ago I was introduced to fireside. I purchased both a jar from a girl in bluntstown. Florida better and the same day that I purchased it. I ran totally out of my neuropathy medicine. I started taking the firesider and it has done wonders for my neuropathy.

    I add my shot of my fc to water or juice!!!
    It still works for our body and immune systems. I also do not filter down the sediment after the initial press…the fiber is great for the gut!

    Good morning. We jarred our first fire cider yesterday. We plan on using the scraps the same way you did. However my wife had the idea to use our juicer to get every drop of fire cider out before dehydrating the left overs. Like your channel as well.

    Did you grind the pepper first? I think pepper flakes need to be present during digestion to help with absorption

    I’ve been making fire cider for five years. So much less illnesses in our house!! Love it! I add jalapeños and Serrano’s and habaneros. Whew!!

    Hi. We make fire cider in a gallon mason jar. It doesn't last long in our house. My husband takes it every morning, more often if people he works with are sick. He says he feels a difference when he doesn't take it. I need to be more diligent about taking it. I do the "shake" like you ladies do, because we take it straight.

    I think I would blend (grind) Ingredients together with the vinegar and add honey too. Then make very small jars filled with this. Use them as they are.

      @@TheHoneystead so I just got to looking at uline finally. The lids are phenolic. Any experience with these? Good/bad/indifferent? I was thinking metal would be necessary but maybe not 🤔 they say wide mouth but I'm guessing that's not the canning type wide mouth. Thanks in advance for any input!

    Hello Friends!!! I would love to try the fire cider. Although, is it possible to make fire cider without garlic & onion? That’s something that I’ll have to research. Awe...     The recipe I used called for grating all the ingredients and zesting and juicing the citrus. It was fine for my first personal batch but I want to make it in bulk next time and I love seeing that you slice and chunk your ingredients

    I LOVED this 2 part video. Made my first Fire Cider last year, two 1Gal pickle jars. Let it mull for almost 3 months. But it's just the two of us and I've still got over a liter left! Looking forward to using it this winter season as lots of my clients here in AZ are already feeling the Flu/Covid cooties affect lives.       We strain everything off first and then do both… some are just strained and add a bit of honey before we bottle.

    Could you still benefit from all the used fruits/vegetables, by dehydrating or freeze drying and grinding Into powder form, that could be put in pill form or sprinkled into dishes?

    I bought fresh horseradish for the first time , for applecider and took a shaving. I thought it was poison, like i had a chemical in my mouth. I had to spit it out.

    I call mine super tonic. I will try your recipe. Mine didn’t have the citrus’s, cranberry, rosemary or turmeric but those are great to add, good idea.
