Lol when Morford mentioned the 5th injector mod, I knew he was old school. Been building for a long time. That was what we did back in the day before standalone, get an 8 PSI hobbs switch, Saab cold start injector, put it in the intake tract, 5th injector. Sucker comes on at 8 psi, and gives you all the fuel you need lol
WTF!!! I just heard your intro music on the TV in the living room and went running to it. I thought my daughter was watching Bader❤ Turns out the Seattle Fox channel was stealing your music😂
They make over current detection modules like the WCS1700 ( only for example) detects DC current up to 70amps and sends an alarm signal when the user set limit is reached. the alarm can fire an led to show pump is running. 🤔 Could also show if a pump is getting air as the current will drop below normal
Do the coolant check? Doesn’t show the level on camera 😂😂 Great results for stock heads. I have no idea how semi closed deck can handle that kinda cylinder pressure
I thought about that after lol should of showed it. Just know if she was pushing it’d need a Geyser after all our pulls 🤣🤣. She’s still doing great though and not pushing anything
Q: Why rev it out to 7600 knowing it has stock rods and fasteners? Why risk breaking a rod bolt and destroying the engine? Seems like it was making great power in the 6500 range...
Lack of power band with that big turbo. It’s making jam 5500+ so limiting to 6500 even with the close ratio trans and it’s not going to be able to do much. It’s a lot more fun with built heads and banging off the rev limiter at 8500 😏
@@smith_speed I get that but that seems like a necessary concession to make in deference to a stock rotating assembly not up to 7600RPM+ crank speeds. I guess if the owner is willing to destroy the engine then it's his business but it's weird to me to see Bader pushing it like that.
Hey bud unrelated question to this particular car. To keep as simple as possible. I got jusr under 30k simple cobb ots tune cobb stage 1+ cobb sf intake and remark catback since like a years same tune. Subaru was doin oil changes for awhile always at 3k oils burned a lil oil never anything concerning now. the consumption is more concerning. At least between 1/2-1qt every 1k-1200 give or take . Which know is considered “normal” to them but idk just curious should i switch to 5w40 motul, aos, i know its hard to recommend just via limited info. I live in MA my dealer is a douche not even gunna bother tryna work wirth them im either goin to check out this place in bethel ct called efi logics or maybe CT dealer they seem more reasonable.
I was watching another video and you mentioned you did a dyno with Perrin V2 headers.. was there a Killer Bee comparison ? Can you give me a link to that video? can't find in search
This would depend on how stock you mean. Completely stock ? Just a tune. You won't gane alot but should be able to pull 210 atleast. With a good tune. With small supporting mods probably around 230 240. All will depend on what's pit into it. Stock block full supporting mods upwards of 600.
The fact that you did not put the camera behind it for those flames, saddens me Josh Bader. Shame on you lol. But an idea I just had for the pumps, put a pressure sensor in line of the outlet of the pump. For each one. That way if a pump goes offline due to electrical or a pump failure, you will be able to log pressures from each pump, and have safeties and alerts in place for the failure. Just an idea

I was just thinking about Josh's car and wondering how his rebuild went. Glad to see it going good and he's sprinkling some spice on the moon.
When everything seems to an end, this guy never ends anything.. and says, c'mon boys "let's get this party started" :D
Great!

Hell yes glad to see it holding up well and able to dial it in even further . Only way to go is up . All the way up.
Maybe fuel pressure gauges inline with each pump (surge tank dual pump). Might just do that to my current build
you could test for voltage drop on the ground side of the pump
Maybe a pair of hard calibrated sensors set at a certain PSI, and if they dip below targeted range it triggers a red LED 🚨
I see ur upload i jump in for the moon tune
Wow the RA sounds really good!!
What's your opinion of fic injectors
Hey Josh how many miles do you expect out of all stock with forged pistons, just curious,a guess?
40k miles. Forged pistons will destroy your cylinder walls.
@@svrnclv thanks buddy
Hey Josh, what plugs and gap would you recommend on a similar setup STi for street/strip duty?
Personally a fan of 1 step colder NGKs gapped to .28 for pump.
Josh are you tuning with Cobb? Curious if you are just making dedicated maps for e85 and pump.
So sport and sport shape a different map or is that eliminated

I wanna see the difference between a stock intake, AMS, and a Process West on the same motor.
This would make an excellent video! Dyno pulls of all 3 to see the differences 👍
Coming soon 😎

I love the spares. Some people would roll on the spares the entire life of the vehicle. Silver STI BBS wheels would suck.
what oil you use in those stock engine
Valvoline VR1
With e85 got to run vr1 synthetic.
1:18 😂
Very nice!!
hi bader in ur opinion whats a safe hp to run on stock ej255?

Dear Bader, when will you work on the new WRX. That video would hit over a milli. Just saying
God, I can't wait till my car is worthy of a josh tube. I've had my LGT in stock form for 4 years and and between y'all and tanner.....to the moon

If you look at the hanger there isn’t room inside of it imo. And it comes out a single line. So electrical to either pump is really your only monitor.
