@@mrrazard Yeah they did the machining.. the hard stuff. It's not hard to assemble a block or the engine. These are adult legos just like Hondas. He did a great job and its a solid build. I just think people shouldn't be intimidated to do the same thing. I've built plenty of engines over the years.. as long as you pay attention to the details and use the proper tools, they are all fairly simple. Some engines have quirks during assembly like Subarus needing a company 23 cam gear tool, but other than that a lot of it is just putting things where they need to be, torquing properly, and using proper procedures. Awesome! When I recently spoke to a rep at Precision about upgrading my gen 2 6266 to a gen 2 6466 he said to hang tight, there’s a Next Gen 6466 coming out in 2023❤, however it still never gets old watching these gen 2’s still throw down after 10 years on the market🎉
Brandon's reaction is priceless,Bader your bad ass tuner/builder/driver,totally love your videos, big power, big fun, happy people loving what they do,keep it coming brother,I can't never get enough
I’m pretty sure that blue va outside with the silver intercooler has a custom shortblock from me 👀 excited to see how far she goes with you on the keys
My sti has a 7670 pushing 420 @22psi on 91 and it also starts crab walking on pulls and from this video I know my car also delivers this same kind of reaction. I can only imagine how much more 280 would be like😂
I wish I knew about you when I had my subi. I appreciate the fact you seem so genuine about making your customers happy and I feel like that’s a rare thing now a days. You happen to tune c6 ls2 corvette’s haha.

I was one of the subs that thinks it’s super dangerous for you to be in the car with these dudes ripping an 800hp car that haven’t driven something that fast before

Man Brandon’s hatch looks so good and sounds awesome! I remember how it looked before the wrap! Wish I was closer to your shop so one day we could see how far we could push a 2021 wrx fa20! Lil bit of a drive from Chicago 😂 I know how much you love fa20’s Bader 😂 great job with the tune! Keep up the great vids!
Yo @bader, got a 20 sti that I eventually want to make a track build. What brand radiator do you recommend to run? Need some insight from THE MAN himself. Plz and thank you bro.
@@nikitatoucher1000 Stock case halves (like non closed deck)? I'd say around 550-600whp is usually the limit before you start seeing the cylinders oval out and crack a sleeve on stock cases. Of course, it would take some mileage and abuse to see ovaling and then cracking a sleeve once you start going over 600ish
My 15 STI has a Cobb 20g, killer B ELH, fueling, ETS TMIC, AOS, Koyo radiator on stock downpipe and I’m at 350whp. Newer Camaros SS and mustangs think I’m stock and can’t pull away from me lol
i have a 2017 wrx premium model. at the moment, i just have cobb AP and Catback. planning on either Big SF or Redline intanke, just not sure which one is best for power. any other next steps anyone would recommend?
Every dyno will vary at end of day, id like to see a trap speed since that says all. This car should trap 142-145mph at this power level. Id expect around same with yours dependent on weight of car

The fact that he doesn't gate keep his knowledge about Subaru and making real power is humbling to me…salute to you Josh.
Crazy to think he built the motor IN HIS GARAGE. Great numbers and can’t wait to see what this thing does on a track
Easier than you think.
He bought the block from Outfront. He didn't do the complex stuff himself.
@@bankruptsee Lmao no. He bought a shortblock for $100 and got it sent to outfront to be closed decked and he did everything else HIMSELF.

Beautiful color. Love the hatch and it makes stupid power. That thing is definitely gonna hurt some feelings out there in NC.

Bader might end up having to rebuild the trans after them pulls sheeshhh but what a goat love the content ❤
With that wing, the hatches actually look awesome. I never liked them because they always look like something was missing. That was the missing piece.
I agree 100%
Beautiful car ! Awesome reaction! This is what's all about!
I can't wait to get my car dynoed by bader. He is a living legend in the Subaru community.
What a beautiful car. Loving the content

i love to see more pump gas rotated set ups! No e in my future. Rotated 6766 on pump 5speed
I plan to built and 2006 Subaru wrx sti and have the motor fully built and big turbo kit and other support in mods but I am happy to watch this built

The big concern is that he never resets his right hand on the wheel during each gear
How about go to a different channel then
Thats one of the nicest looking engine bays I've seen.

great car josh gets the heart pumpin
that thing sounds amazing banging through those gears!
Guy I know says with a 30 pounds spring in the wastegate he got 900 wheel on the 6466. That sound plausible? Same mid 48 psi I think.
Amazing build Brandon. Really nice job!! You have a new subscriber! Best of luck with the move 🔥🔥🔥🐵
Rowdy. Lets see 6870 on my hatch by the end of the year 🤣
That red car is super nice. Beauty colour. I normally hate red.
Don't know where in nc but there are a few tracks here coastal plains, Kinston drag strip one near the coast
Great build. That’s a lot of power being put down 💪🏽
512 on pump.... at 24psi. Thats a good day already.
Subaru is a ticking time bomb . I never seen one last a Year even tuned on e85 anything 500 wheel they don’t last. Vr30 for the win
B58 better
and that's what you call a satisfied customer
The customers have a special way of not knowing how to drive their own cars lol. Great work
Opening reminds me of rushing to ifo in Kent.
“That’s a big bitch” - “that is a big bitch” 😂
That thing ain’t eating nothing but the motor. Common chase 🤣🤣
You should try the new Garrett turbos! My G30-770 hit 599whp on e85 and it blew me away
Always a let down in power department. I’ll stick with the precision turbos.
@@BaderBuiltRacing Well, you DO love the power! I'll try precision out one day 💪 🐎

Love the sound on that pump, It gives that "Don't try me vibe 😜" What fuel pressure regulator to control the flow of that huge flowing pump?
Love watching the best in the SUBIE life gang baiderbuilt SUBIE Suace GOD🛣️
Is this with a 3” down pipe? do you normally tell customers to go 3 and a half or 4” if they want to run over 32psi?
What platform did you use to tune it ? Since cobb did a green house update which limited to tune on speed density and rotated set up. @baderbuilt
@BaderBuiltRacing
Your fuel pump sounds like a vacuum cleaner now lmao
"I am holding on to the wheel for dear life" he says as he holds the steering wheel with one hand under boost.
Does anyone know if its okay that his pump is mounted higher than the fuel cell? Asking because my setup will be almost identical.
Incredible!
He wasn't ready 😆
Great results. Is this on a stock ecu ?
Wondering how much or max PSI can a 6062 .82AR with T51R mod make...ID1700cc with Walbro single 450...Killer B Max VE with ETS rotated piping...
Around 34psi / 600whp
For a 350-400 whp build would you go with a built block or stock RA?
Ra blocks aren’t anything special…stock
What cams does he have?
Currently doing 40psi with a 6466 but .82 housing. Wanna switch to 1.05 housing we at the .82 limit boost wise
He’s running 280s I’m pretty much
Yep, 280s
"Bud I've been done" haha
Weird. I got 611whp on a mustang dyno. It doesn’t go past 24psi.
Bader what would you say is a safe maximum of hp for a stock block ej255?
Well it’s not 700 that’s for fucking sure 😂. If you got a 5 speed I wouldn’t try to go over 350 wheel
