Honda’s second-generation Amaze is much more than a new sub-4 metre sedan. Many of us enthusiasts have grown up revering the genius of Honda, a company led by engineers. In a highly value-conscious market brand Honda won over car buyers even while striking a hard bargain. Remember the no-diesel years, or the City without a CD player?
But, over the last few years Honda’s magic wore thin. The good news is, Honda says they have corrected course, the proof of which should lie in the second generation Amaze. Powered by the familiar 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine with a choice of manual or CVT gearboxes packages into a larger and more stately body, the Amaze is looking to jump to the head of the sub-4 metre sedan segment. Can it? And can it prove that Honda is ready to be Honda once again? We find out. Honda's Amaze will be launched in May 2018, and we expect it to be priced on par with its chief rival, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Karthik, I was initially planning to get a Honda Amaze Diesel Top for my 1st car as my budget was in the range of 10 lakhs. But, after checking out this, when I just checked out the Hyundai elite i20, it just had blown me. Ever since no turning back to Honda Amaze and now waiting for my i20 delivery next Sunday.

Apart from the exteriors,I like the whole package but where it really loses out is in the petrol department and this is the place where the Dzire excels!

Is there any issue with reverse gear of this car as check some user comments on Honda official facebook page and they all complaint abt huge vibration while reversing and dashboard etc please check this point as well
tarush rastogi TRUE, car has these problems and honda is still selling them as once you take it out of showroom you get stuck with it, they haven't provided me any solution yet. Honda is cheating ppl with this car.
