I am sold. The first thing I would do if I buy the car is replacing the tyres with 205 mm and black alloys.
Took a test drive today of smt model. Personally I dont even want to go for the infotainment system as I already have one in my city and practically I haven't used the navigation ever. Now coming to the smt model the car costs 8.55 lac diesel manual. Steering control was quite good and interior for this segment is quite satisfactory. Seats are comfortable too. I am just a bit concerned about the milage I hope it gives 18-19 kmpl in city just like my honda city. If anyone owns a diesel manual please reply with your valuable feedback as I am considering to buy one.

If you want space buy amaze... If you want features like rear ac, projector light buy i20. I personally bought this car, i vtec s model... It has the largest luggage space in these segment (420ltrs). But this car is not for race. Value for money if you have 5family members.

Just checked new amaze...sitting is comfortable but the quality n all panels bended like it were hanged on 1 screw only....bonnet was moving dangerously like it was hanging and not screw at all
Sir, I need an information from you experts. The previous amaze had a speed cap(wide open throttle-5th gear) and the speed was limited to 140kph. Does this car(Petrol Version) have the same limit? Even though it is not needed regularly and may be unsafe but I am hugely discouraged by the idea of a limit. Call me whatever you want but I may not do this speed everyday, not even once a week but the thought that "it can if need be" is reassuring.

Freestyle or Honda Amaze in petrol for normal family usage, not more casually for parties and some long run...pls suggest not considered boot
Honda amaze luggage space is more than freestyle. But if your road condition is extremely bad better buy freestyle. But I personally suggest you to buy honda ivtec varient. Because i vtec is best petrol engine in the world

Honda has done fantastic makeover. Now it's beautiful n well proportionate to look at. Far better than the new D'sire. It will be more attractive if Honda provides Arm Rest in front n rear seats.

The looks are definitely fresh and good long aged design. But lower rear end seems in the video also little up and down with low weight and it will bottom out surely, i dont know why indian reveiwers do not include basic detailing like underbody protection n total person carrying 3 people n how much laden GC will amaze come.
Its is a good car but there is nothing that sets it apart from the competition, I think honda would have made an impact if they gave 6 airbags atleast on the top end variants, an driver side arm rest would have given it an edge over the competition. I mean just consitder this situation, at this point of time considering this is a Honda car, the price would be slighly more than that of other cars in the segment. thatmeans the petrol top end will be close to 10 Lakhs at the time of relase and there would not be a single rupee of discount that will be offered as it is a brand new car. So, for me investing around 1.2 Lakhs more would allow you to get a bigger "Honda City V" petrol manual model which offers everything that amze offers in the top end except DRLs. it is a much more value for money choice and it also is a much bigger car, bigger boot, you get more head room and leg room in the rear, driver side arm rest, which the Amaze does not get.

Petrol top end would be close to 9 Lakh I think. That is diesel top end which will cost around 10 lakh on road.
I too think centre arm rest for driver and touch infotainment system in V trim could have been provided by Honda. Also the design of alloys could have been better.
I think petrol top end will be close to 10 Lakhs, as ZXi plus petrol dzire cost 9.45 Lakhs here in Hyderabad, but if you are in Delhi it may be a little less, but I am sure top end Amaze will be more expensive than Dzire that how Honda prices their products
I still believe that sub compact sedan under 4 meter will look awkward anyways. i dont like the designs of any of sun 4-meter sedans in India.

Currently outgoing Amaze petrol top end variant VX with manual transmission costs 8.56 Lakh on-road in UP. Cant say about price in Hyderabad as octroi is higher there. Dzire ZXI+ costs 7.96 Lakh ex-showroom and 8.96 Lakh on-road here in UP. I dont think Honda will increase the price by 1.5 lakh , considering the scenario City base variant comes at only 9.9 Lakh on-road.

If you are interested in driving don't buy cvt. Its manual gear box is too smooth. Better learn properly to drive and enjoy. i vtec engine is better than i dtec

What are you saying? We sat in the new amaze and were fit almost perfectly for 3 hefty adults. If one of them is thinner than its more than sufficient space for longer rides!

If you want him to point out all the cars faults just remove the Honda badge and replace it with a Tata one.
CVT is not top end model. Car fitted AVN is never great unless it is a luxury car. For 25K one can easily buy much better system
