Sir, I am confused between the Honda city vCVT model and the vento 1.2 TSI. I loved the quality and performance of vento more, but I read that there is problem with the dsg and the fuel injectors of the vento. And the maintainence cost is too high as compared to the city. Therefore I'm afraid to go for the vento. Can you put in some light?
Need a suggestion - Which car to buy, Daily running would be 50 kms / day - Confused between S-Cross Zeta and Honda City V (Petrol) variant .... Please suggest
After watching many reviews in 2015 we bought Diesel Honda City...but no one then & even now reviewed headlights... Honda City is partially blind at nights... Now only in topend they provide LED.. On highways it's very hard to drive above 90kmph as the cattle/parked vehicles are not visible.. I'll say Tata Vista headlights were far better than Honda City's headlights. Please do review night time visibility of the cars..
awesome video, perfect narration and informative ... but do u think Honda should have updated their engines tooo ...the diesel is sluggish to accelarate in intermediation... as a suggestion i wud say to include acceleration figures too
OK OK yes definitely ... changes are appreciable and it really makes the car modern with all of its upgrades ... but its restricted to automatic top versions and i was just saying Honda cudve remaped their engines for more performance especially diesel ... i dnt complain nd we cant get everything that we xpect in a car ... jst wished it sud ve ...........
AKINSON SHARMA yes honda's ivtec has high revving abilities ... apart from abarth punto ... GT TSI is a rev happy unit, if used in S or manual mode, preferably a shifter, figo's 1.5 petrol auto a good option but being an auto only it spoils the thrill and diesel vx variant costs 15 lakh onroad which is pathetic .. a vento or rapid is miles ahead under 13.3 lakhs
AKINSON SHARMA yes i agree with ur comment ... Honda's gone crazy in pricing once after they launched diesel ... the top end diesel manual ll set around 16lkhs onroad ... but still i can see lot of city Diesels ... but its engine in isolation is fine ... due to peak torque built at early rpms make it easier to drive and doesnt bcm violent after turbo reachs its full potential ... but still far behind vento ,rapid and fords 1.5 tdi in terms of ingear as well as 0-100 sprint ... 15+ lakh means we can get an Octavia, jetta or elantre in that range ...
Tushar kamath, I like ur reviews. They r to the point and what is needed in terms of ride quality, handling, Engine refinement etc. For a buyer these kind of reviews r absolutely essential and helpful. Thanku. Dr Prasanth panicker
I have a budget of 10 Lakhs of rupees , I m confused between brezza and city. Please advice I have 5 adults and 2 infants in my family and I have around 1500 kms in city usage per month and around 1000 kms per quarter every year for outing purpose. I need a smart spacious economical and high resale value car for next 3 years. also looking for Creta petrol e+ variant, looked everywhere but no reviews on Creta petrol. kindly solve my problem.
Zigwheels......city vs creta which is better......both fall in differnet segments but still which one is better.........?????looking forward to ur reply
+prasenjeet mohanty Rear parking sensors are available in the high variants. Click on the link to know all about Honda City and its variants.bit.ly/2m1BXUq
I have booked ZX CVT Petrol model. I have tested manual transmission petrol car. The tyre sound is more(MRF tyre). How to reduce the tyre sounds?Which will be the best tyre for the 16R ? model with number.
Ilango R sir but manual has more punch than cvt and manual s uits our india road.and there is option of Bridgestone tyre,Michelin tyre also in showroom also.
sad that most reviews are given for cars which are sold the least.. the top models... companies need to be more brave and provide all variants to media for review...
This car is pathetically overpriced, A VW Vento/Skoda Rapid are far far far superior machines, people blindly believe in Honda, even service charges are very high for Honda
I own a car lease business man, I have Ford,Hyundia,VW,Honda, and a lot of Toyotas with me, And i have all the service costs and bills etc with me as well, The new City iDtec has 5000 kms or 6 months service interval, with each 6 month visit the cost is around 2000-3500 RS, all in all 1st year total there is 3 service visit and a total of Rs 7.5-7.78k is the total bill Same way in 2nd year also this is how the service goes, Compared to that the Ecosport TDCi has just 1 service every year and that costs just under 5000 Rs for 1st year and almost 3500 Rs for 2nd year, Ford is actually as cheap as Maruti to maintain which is actually costlier than the cheapest Toyota VW cars have like 11-15 k RS per service, but one needs to know that service interval is 15k kms or 1 year Also another cheating company is hyundai ,Hyundai is incremental in service costs, 1st 3 years was peaceful with ma 2011 Verna now after 4th year its stupid expensive and the car falls apart like its made out of coke cans Si if U dont know how service costs stack up This is how it stacks up 1. Toyota 2. Ford/Maruti 3. Hyundai(for 1st 3 years)/Tata 4. Honda/Renaul,Nissan 5. VW So sure VW is expensive but it is worth it, it feels money is well spent on Vento/Rapid than the overpriced flimsy feeling unrefined gimmicky Honda
Yes, if U dont know this is how it goes, and I said in general, not petrol wise, Honda iDtec is super expensive, and petrol cars too VW is way way way ahead of Honda, Sorry, one may say NA engine is good etc etc etc, but that VW 1.2 TSI+DSG in my experience at least is way more efficient and powerful than Honda City iVTEC , Also superior in terms of ride and handling and cabin insulation as well I am not at all frustrated, in fact I keep a keen eye on all of my cars as nobody should say I leased a car with such and such issues etc, so I keep them neat and clean and trouble free all the time, In the past 7 years of my business the brand that impressed me most is Toyota followed by surprise FORD, Honda,is just a mediocre brand and the cars they make are well just average, the old City was a great car and the new City success is because most people blindly believe the new 1 will be good as old one was better but after owing all of these cars , what I wanna say is, as a mar a machine that can carry 4 and reward driver at the same time, Honda is no way near as good as VW/Skoda
Well I have driven all , I drive all my cars before buying them for lease purpose, See leasing dosent mean taxi business, it means owning itself, so I have to own all these cars, thats how it works, and I agree I dont have an iVTEC but I have iDTEC with me, and i DTEC is far far far inferior to TDi Regarding TSi vs iVTEC I agree 0-100 is faster but do we really do 0-100 along our roads, see what we do is lug and for that the TSi+DSG felt far more torquier and easy than the CVT Petrol City, Manual I agree the City 1.5+ manual is a great combo Now Y I say about City is, its not such a great car, the VW twins has a better suspension setup, better dynamics and more solid and robust and safe feel as well, even comfort wise I didnt like the new City at all, the suspension was undauntedly stiff at slow speeds but dosent inspire confidence like VW twins at high speeds either, only+ point is the seats in the City are brilliant specially back seats, apart from that even interior quality, fit finish, panel gaps, attention to detail etc felt far better in VW twins , the gimmicky features like touch screen and touch AC controls are STUPID, the AC controls always get moisture and the touch screen s extremely slow and sluggish, the stock audio system in City is not as good as the ones in VW,Ford, The iDtec is supremely unrefined The gear shifts are also no way near as good as VW twins, specially for diesels, petrol is good There is lot of wind noise post 100 kmph, VW twins too have them but one needs to cross 110-115 kmph to feel it like in City at 95-100 See I care for all these things and the over priced City dosent match up, if I would buy a Honda City it will be only the City 1.5 P with Manual , rest all(specially the iDTEC that accounts for 90+% of City sales is a HYPE)
+Deepak Gautam Understood your point here, however, the manufacturers have to consider many things before bringing the new vehicle to the country such as the mechanicals, dimensions should be suitable accordingly and also the environmental factors.
u hav to be more detail even more bro...first u have to show braking test in real life ..i mean outside of car ..next at back sit weather 3 member at 80kg r sufficient..and u hav to apply brake with all 5 members in a car at 90kmph ..bec all car buyer r willing to notice that thing..even youth guys like me..bec at the time ve hav to see weather all 5 member are safe with that break..first indian car buyer mind hav to change from mileage to safety....then all car manf will supply more safety features like foreign cars..so do as more detail ..top youtube channel autocar & autoportal cant discribe like wat i meantioned..so take more patient to as i told ......first try to read my comments...describe step by step.....goo a head ...pure that each cars has unqiue amount of safety...//
Such crisp video quality...making the right use of the gimbal...great...hands down the best review yet...
I would give it to the host. Last time I saw a zigwheels review, I thought this would be the last time.
I am glad I saw this one!
Like to see how cars not available in the US are reviewed overseas. Great video - thanks!
Dude I'm from India but i heard the hybrid version is gonna release there soon
Which one better to choose
Honda City or Grace??? Pls advice me
1:26 i do agree with that....i wish honda did that as an option so..that i could save money on those and get a better wide one

Good review... Always your mind is leaned towards Verna but you still gave good feedback City... except for final word
request you to do a camparison of new rapid or vento with hinda city

Thanks for the great review! Which colour of the city was shown in this video throughout? Was it Golden brown metallic or Modern steel metallic?
Love the review ♥️

Tushar Kamath thanks for the reply ..cant wait to see
Cyril Matthew agreed but its just a facelift!

Petrol - Honda
Diesel - creta
My favorite car
Is this the golden brown metallic colour ?
vibration is issue with even Honda 2-wheeler vehicles as well.
Only one advice to honda. Please make sun roof optional. i WANT to buy top end but i do not want sun roof
Yeah. Sunroof reduces the headroom also
With that premium pricing, Honda had already killed the CITY.
The world is greats car so love that car 💘💝💖💖👍👌💯💫💫
which is better cvt or manual
Cvt
Does'nt have apple car play. Have to download a heavy app on the mobile to play with features.
how comfortable.is it to drive?
It was smoother than vento and rapid within city.. no idea on highways
Bro the is a price how much
Petrol manual is there in zx model
i heard that led headlight of city creates trouble n rainy night drive...is it true??
Honda should provide parking sensors at least on its top-end variants.
+prasenjeet mohanty Rear parking sensors are available in the high variants. Click on the link to know all about Honda City and its variants.bit.ly/2m1BXUq
it's mentioned there the Rear parking sensors are not available in both the top end variants(Diesel & Petrol) :(
prasenjeet mohanty Just need to ask the dealership they are providing them for free 😁😁
I have booked ZX CVT Petrol model. I have tested manual transmission petrol car. The tyre sound is more(MRF tyre). How to reduce the tyre sounds?Which will be the best tyre for the 16R ? model with number.
Best to stick to tyres provided by OEM. Difficult to suggest aftermarket tyres since there is a wide range of tyres.
We are always fearing and bothering about the warranty and the company. Why should not we try with different tyres and give the company a feedback?
Ilango R sir but manual has more punch than cvt

When this car launch in Pakistan anyone tell me
City is a good car but verna rapid vento are also very capable cars with big strengths. So the city does face big competition today
Hey zigwheels i have question
Do you get your own car for review🤔
No, its provided by the brand.
ZigWheels what is the procedure for obtaining car for review
Tushar Kamath will manufacturers provide cars for freelances ... local dealers always gets rid of it
Tushar Kamath thanks anyway
Still no reverse sensors like seriously Honda? Do you even have a market research team? 😁
You do get a reversing camera, but rear parking sensors are missing.
This car is pathetically overpriced, A VW Vento/Skoda Rapid are far far far superior machines, people blindly believe in Honda, even service charges are very high for Honda
I own a car lease business man, I have Ford,Hyundia,VW,Honda, and a lot of Toyotas with me,

Same way in 2nd year also this is how the service goes,
Compared to that the Ecosport TDCi has just 1 service every year and that costs just under 5000 Rs for 1st year and almost 3500 Rs for 2nd year, Ford is actually as cheap as Maruti to maintain which is actually costlier than the cheapest Toyota
VW cars have like 11-15 k RS per service, but one needs to know that service interval is 15k kms or 1 year
Also another cheating company is hyundai ,Hyundai is incremental in service costs, 1st 3 years was peaceful with ma 2011 Verna now after 4th year its stupid expensive and the car falls apart like its made out of coke cans
Si if U dont know how service costs stack up
This is how it stacks up
1. Toyota
2. Ford/Maruti
3. Hyundai(for 1st 3 years)/Tata
4. Honda/Renaul,Nissan
5. VW
So sure VW is expensive but it is worth it, it feels money is well spent on Vento/Rapid than the overpriced flimsy feeling unrefined gimmicky Honda
Yes, if U dont know this is how it goes, and I said in general, not petrol wise, Honda iDtec is super expensive, and petrol cars too VW is way way way ahead of Honda,
Sorry, one may say NA engine is good etc etc etc, but that VW 1.2 TSI+DSG in my experience at least is way more efficient and powerful than Honda City iVTEC ,
Also superior in terms of ride and handling and cabin insulation as well
I am not at all frustrated, in fact I keep a keen eye on all of my cars as nobody should say I leased a car with such and such issues etc, so I keep them neat and clean and trouble free all the time,
In the past 7 years of my business the brand that impressed me most is Toyota followed by surprise FORD,
Honda,is just a mediocre brand and the cars they make are well just average, the old City was a great car and the new City success is because most people blindly believe the new 1 will be good as old one was better but after owing all of these cars , what I wanna say is, as a mar a machine that can carry 4 and reward driver at the same time, Honda is no way near as good as VW/Skoda
Well
I have driven all , I drive all my cars before buying them for lease purpose,
See leasing dosent mean taxi business, it means owning itself, so I have to own all these cars, thats how it works, and I agree I dont have an iVTEC but I have iDTEC with me, and i DTEC is far far far inferior to TDi
Regarding TSi vs iVTEC
I agree 0-100 is faster but do we really do 0-100 along our roads, see what we do is lug and for that the TSi+DSG felt far more torquier and easy than the CVT Petrol City, Manual I agree the City 1.5+ manual is a great combo
Now Y I say about City is, its not such a great car, the VW twins has a better suspension setup, better dynamics and more solid and robust and safe feel as well, even comfort wise I didnt like the new City at all, the suspension was undauntedly stiff at slow speeds but dosent inspire confidence like VW twins at high speeds either, only+ point is the seats in the City are brilliant specially back seats, apart from that even interior quality, fit finish, panel gaps, attention to detail etc felt far better in VW twins , the gimmicky features like touch screen and touch AC controls are STUPID, the AC controls always get moisture and the touch screen s extremely slow and sluggish, the stock audio system in City is not as good as the ones in VW,Ford,
The iDtec is supremely unrefined
The gear shifts are also no way near as good as VW twins, specially for diesels, petrol is good
There is lot of wind noise post 100 kmph, VW twins too have them but one needs to cross 110-115 kmph to feel it like in City at 95-100
See I care for all these things and the over priced City dosent match up, if I would buy a Honda City it will be only the City 1.5 P with Manual , rest all(specially the iDTEC that accounts for 90+% of City sales is a HYPE)
This facelift lauch in North America 2015 y they dont launch same model design as present in here
+Deepak Gautam Understood your point here, however, the manufacturers have to consider many things before bringing the new vehicle to the country such as the mechanicals, dimensions should be suitable accordingly and also the environmental factors.
why is the drl not stable and it looks like it is flowing from one end to another?
That's how the camera captures DRL's when shot at high shutter speeds.
ZigWheels okzz thank you

i-Vtec anyday
The Honda city or the new Verna?
Petrol city vs diesel Verna is my point on question
The New Verna is around the corner, you may want to wait for a while. The launch happens next month and our review will be up soon after that.
ZigWheels can you atleast tell me by having the Solaris as the new verna
was expecting Kartikeya
I-vtec has no torque and diesel has no horsepower. Most idiotic brand on earth.
😁🌝🌝🥱😃🥳😃🥳😃💋👀👀💋👀💋🧠🫂
first like ..... yummy
