I own this Honda Amaze 2nd Gen since July 2018 and am largely satisfied with its performance, space and comfort 😊
Mileage on highway is above 20 kmpl and in Pune city it's 14 kmpl...

I have drove amaze for quite long now. For sure the Honda's ivtec engine is by far the best and overall considering the price bracket in which amaze is in the market. It is far better than all those hatchbacks that have 0 safety rating and not so good ride quality. For sure headrest for passangers at the back should come in the next update and also armrest is a miss. Apart from that it is a very balanced family car with good driving dynamics.

Recently purchased the cvt VX variant.
My experience below :
Likes
Smooth engine, excellent AC, lacks low end power /torque but enjoyable mid range for cruising on the highway. Comfortable seats both front and rear, you will not get tired easily in city or highway driving. Four star safety rating is icing on the cake.
Dislikes
There is no traction control, no cruise control for the cvt variant.
There is no wireless android auto and apple car play. The wired connection sometimes gets disconnected if in case you use the phone or go over a bump.
The fuel lid lever is now placed near the bonnet opening lever, which is not feasible while seated and requires that we open the door in order to have a clear view before pulling the lever.
Rear camera clarity could have been better.
If you forget to close the window and turned off ignition, you have to press the start button and turn the ignition ON just to operate the power windows. It will not work otherwise (atleast not for the top variants)
Steering wheel is hard, not smooth like other vehicle's power steering. It does not return to the center after making a turn.

I recently bought honda amaze vx manual
Following are the points which can help you:
1. Boot opener lever is present on the floor of driver side inside cabin as well.
2. Electrical system such as window, ORVM motor etc. Can be accessed without turning on ignition by pressing start button twice without pressing brake (automatic) or clutch (manual)
3. I agree fuel lit lever is not place at good position, but you will get used to it 😅
4. I didn't face any issue of steering wheel not returning to center you can get it check at service center.

For the steering wheel please get you wheel alignment done asap, or it would damage your wheels. i also purchased the VX CVT recently and had the Steering issue but it resolved upto 85% after the alignment.
I don’t understand Hindi .. still with your mix of Hindi and English, I can understand your reviews. I am following up you for more than 5-6 yrs .. Normally check your reviews first as soon as any new car launched or any face lifts …

My dream car altors or honda amaze
I have been driving Amaze CVT for the last more than 6 months now. Very smooth to drive. Initially had difficulty adjusting from diesel turbo (Ford Figo) to the petrol CVT, felt it lacked the throttle. However, started enjoying the CVT smoothness gradually. Some very useful features such as auto headlamps. Overall a very practical package. Some cons would be missing armrest, no auto dimming rear view mirror, and that it feels a bit light on expressway as it crosses 100 kmph.
These features are now added default.

Why suddenly shifted to Hindi?
Torn between Honda Amaze and the Maruti Ciaz.
Requirement: family car for 5 including elderly. Very less tolerance for bodyroll, 13-14 lakh budget.
Go for slavia base variant.
If you can wait for a while, Honda is going to launch the new Amaze with major upgrades like ADAS, wireless android /Apple carplay /new instrument console etc.
Having owned the old Gen Amaze(2013 - 2023), Brio and now the Amaze (new gen) again since Aug 2023, I suggest you to go with Honda amaze instead of Ciaz
Undoubtedly Maruti, Honda quality is not the same as it used to be. Mileage would be the issue as there is a huge diff there

Honda maruti Toyota to 10-10 years chal jati hai. 4-5 lakh km to normal hai inka. Ha lekin quality and safety me Honda baki dono se acchi hai.

Reliability aur jyada lambi to 3no chalti hai. Par quality Honda ki baki dono se acchi hoti hai.
I thought DCT is the pinnacle of Automatic gearbox. You are CVT
DCT is not even a proper automatic. It's closer to a manual. Pls read up more on it.

Honda Amaze is worst car in terms of performance and comfort. Don't let the looks deceive you. CVT has a mileage of 11 during city ride.

Low GC, no rear ac , sagging rear susp when fully loaded, no cng or hybrid or electric resulting in high petrol cost are the main shortcomings of this otherwise reliable and comfortable car
