So I know this is 2 years old but I just want to say that Short vague subject lines are REALLY good. I know from experience that especially appropriate person and quick question work wonders. Its a bit like a YT Thumbnail. You want them to have Questionmarks over their heads to open it.
I was just about to start emailing and saw your video. I thought let me just see if I can come down with something interesting.... And as you explained I followed your suggestions and came up with 6 subject lines already... This is so helpful 😊😊😊
I've just binged watched about twenty of your videos. My brother works for oracle too. I've learned so much from the both of you. Keep the videos coming 🔥
The best subject line is something personal and valuable. I do not recommend using generic lines from free TH-cam videos. But it doesn’t mean this videos is useless. It give you an idea how to write subject line and I do agree with Patrick’s suggestions. Good luck everybody.
I liked the one where I'm asking the person a question. Also, the one where we are Congratulating the person on achieving something is a great one. You had some oldies but goodies, simple and effective and you also had some fun new ones we can try out too, so this was dope, bro.
Hey Patrick, You're probably noticing me binge watching your videos 😂😂 This one...was really really good man, I cannot thank you enough. Also its interesting how simple things can be broken down and optimised, even something as simple as an email. Thank you!
Awesome videos, Patrick! I work in the field of AI in the Middle East and Egypt and having prospects open up emails is super tough. I am thankful you shared this with us, today.
I just finished watching your other email video and saw this as a suggestion. I think for what I’m doing the pain point is going to be huge. My clients have been bombarded with calls from multiple companies for two days by the time I’m reaching out. So a subject line like; tired of the nonstop calls? Should go a long way
My subject line was so boring until I came across this video, my contact has already asked for details on LinkedIn sent him an email yesterday I guess I'd do a follow up
Hi Patrick , thank you for this excellent video , just subscribed to your channel. I need to send emails to corporate businesses to invite them to look at a travel company that help with their business travel trips. Found your video of subject matter very helpful.
I use the a different method which works for me 80% of the time. In the subject line I Put “RE: *topic of choice*” Reason being is they think they’ve already spoken to me and they open the email assuming they have and they may have forgotten and then it goes from there.
Love your content! I have been finding it really helpful. Just a question - wouldn't a one word subject line like "hey" result in the email going to someone's spam folder?
Hi Patrick! I hope you are well ! Thanks for sharing your techniques. I'm BDR and I'm writing my emails but the title still makes me confused what to write. What to write? Thanks !
Thanks Pat! Exatly what I was after. Been struggling to have the open rate that I am after. When sending a cold email, around what is a standard open rate?

Hey Patrick, Your video is really awsome Need some help here like I have an app development company and want to showcase app development services So how do I send cold emails? What will be the best way to do that?
Hello Patrick, thank you very much for the information you provided for us my question is, how would approach a website with a cold email, that sells decorative photography in general, and has different niches ( mainly what I do, decorative photos of Rome ) many of these websites have special portfolios about Rome. so I can reach out to them and offer my photography. but, I don't really know how to approach them exactly. can you be so kind as to give me any advice? Mainly I don't know how, because most cold email tutorials I saw, even yours ( great tutorial by the way ) are not from someone like me perhaps, who needs to show something visible to catch any potential client ( or that's what I think...lol ) I don't know if I can catch any clients just with words only in my case... maybe I am wrong, but I think is probably another type of cold email? Thank you again, Patrick PD sorry for any mistakes in my writing, English is not my first language 😊
how can I do this in bulk? to a lot of different emails, because how much time do you spend taking a look at each CL need if i want to send 5k different emails :( Any help maybe? just curious
Hi Patrick, this video is pretty interesting for me but I have some concerns whether it is appropriate to prospects from Export- Import Industry. Cuz I am a newbie at the Export Sale Executive position
Hi, these strategies are pretty general and can be applicable to any industry. With that said, you have to try it out to see if your specific target respond to them. Thanks for watching.
Theres one time I forgot to put in a subject line on my email campaign . And had 67% open rate. Showed it to my mentor, he said, how de fk u get 67%, im spending weeks to come up with killer subject lines and losing to no subject lines. Moral of the story is, it's viable but don't do it too much. The art of surprise is a viable technique when it comes to this job

For me these ones look exactly like the ones I receive at my job and for me they sound so salesy and annoying so that I ignore them. What about the approach to disguise them as a type of email the employee/employer is used to process/answer like an email from a colleague or business partner. I don't mean faking the name or anything like that but after working in corporate for years I developed my eyes and my brain to filter out all the junk emails and see only the emails from my colleagues etc. I think this approach could work really well but I don't have good examples yet.
now that I think about it, it could be even no subject line at all. I remember me and my colleagues often forgot to use any when sending us emails about our work at production
Thanks for sharing that. Now to dive deeper to see what's going on, can you tell me your Open Rate % for your emails, how many emails you sent, and can you send me what you actually wrote in the email. You can reply to this comment or email me at patrick@patrickdang.com. There could be a number of reasons why you don't get a response.
