A lot of kids these days think that 90s culture is just Disney movies and Nickelodeon. But there were so many weird, obscure movies that we watched constantly on VHS. Jingle All the Way, First Kid (also with Sinbad), Homeward Bound, Fly Away Home. Such a great time for children's media.
Well most of Nickelodeon and Disney was our culture.. They were the major networks and investors knew that. Sure, I loved other movies and shows, but overall, 90's was the peak of entertainment
I remember I spent weeks looking for that version of the movie cause no streaming service ever had it. Same thing with the first Austin Powers movie lol.
This movie ultimately has a positive message, with a child raised as a consumer learning the meaning of Christmas as being giving and family rather than empty objects.
@Thrashifice It has so many hilarious moments and so many cringy as hell moments. Biggest cringe moments are when Ted tries to seduce Liz. Like....read the room, dude.
Bro!!! No way you’re reacting to this movie, this is such a hidden gem to my childhood I’m so hype to watch this reaction. 😁“You gotta keep your promises if you wanna keep your friends.” Is ingrained in my heart
YOOOO! Leo is bringing that heat! 🔥 I saw this film in the theater. It was a very good experience. I don't care what anybody says, this film is a Christmas classic. Great reaction bro! 👍🏿 RIP to Phil Hartman
“ Howard you can’t steal the doll that’s Johnny’s “ * Ted “ to bad ur husband isn’t as adamant about spending time with his family on Christmas Eve.” “ steal the doll! “ he’s crossing a line! 🤣🤣🤣
Phil Hartman, who played Ted, was actually a real nice guy and a one-of-a-kind comedic genius at the time. I don't know if you knew this, but two years after "Jingle All the Way", Phil was tragically killed. He was stuck in a toxic relationship with his drug-addicted, alcoholic, abusive wife (Who was also fiercely jealous of Phil's successful career), and when he finally made the decision to divorce her after being advised by many people (Including Joe Rogan, who worked with Phil on the sitcom "NewsRadio"), she shot and killed Phil in his sleep, and then she shot herself in the bathroom when the police showed up. What's even sadder is that they had two kids together. Such an unfortunate thing to happen, and Phil didn't deserve that, and neither did his kids. R.I.P. Phil Hartman 😣😥😪😓🕊🙏💗💕
Thank you, Leo. I took my son to see this when it first came out. I can still picture everything about that experience. The theater is no longer there, and my son is all grown up. 💜
“Turbo discs sold separately.” You were cracking me up man. 😂 Random, but at 10:50, the guy that was laughing at Arnold in the store, looked so darn familiar. I couldn’t believe it was the guy who voiced the dad in Rick and Morty and recently played a hilarious role in the new Fallout series as the one eyed Overseer. Chris Parnell
Great movie great reaction this is my favorite Christmas movie to watch during the holidays. This was totally hilarious. I’m looking forward to more happy holidays to you.👍👍👍💯💯.
This was filmed in my home city Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was downtown when they were filming the parade scene. I was working for a delivery company at the time. Needless to say I didn't get to my drop off on time. lol It was fun to watch what I could see of the action while I waited to get through all of that traffic mess from the Mall of America to Chanhassen.
Eyyy MN team haha. Yeah not a lot of big movies that take place here so its extra special haha. I was just a kid at the time but they filmed the Santa warehouse scenes right down the road from my Mom's work so she had stories haha
This was one of my favorite Christmas movies growing up and I'm so happy you decided to watch it. It's so chaotic lmao. Also the actor who played Jamie is the same who played young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I. I had a huge crush on him as a kid 😂
It's been a long time since I've seen this movie and I completely forgot how funny it was. I swear I was crying of laughter throughout the whole thing. I think it was the wave of nostalgia that came over me but I am glad you reacted to this, it brought back a lot of childhood memories.
Good lord your punching me right in the childhood with this one. I haven't seen this one in 25 years such a great movie NGL though I'm at work so I'll watch it later
As an only child without a father I grew to only hope my son looks at me one day as turbo man the same way little dude in the movie did with his dad because it's no higher honor than to be everything to someone I never got myself. God is good and merry Christmas y'all 🙏💗
I still remember the first time I Googled images of Barnaby Jones after Sinbad called Robert Conrad Barnaby Jones and I was dying laughing for like a whole hour straight 😂🤣
Would love to see a reaction to I'll Be Home For Christmas with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jessica Beil. One of my favorite Christmas movies right next to Jingle All the Way and Die Hard.
I was like 16 when this movie came out, and by that point in my life I was 'done' with Xmas movies and the only reason I watched this is because of Arnold. It is one of my Christmas favorites!
I remember having a White elephant party in 2nd grade and I gifted this movie to the other on VHS, and I got a little mini foosball table (the kind you see in Home Goods). Good times
One of the most underrated movies and unknown movies ever, a lot of people I talk to have never seen this movie and it is pure perfection, Christmas Action Comedy Arnold Sinbad Hartman what more do you want??? "That was really a bomb?? This is a sick world we're living in with sick people!" LMFAO! I'm glad you watched the full extended edition, they cut parts out in different versions, like the Santa's singing and the tow truck driver scene. There is a Jingle All The Way 2 with Larry the Cable guy, no actual connection to the first, its not as good but not bad.
You know after Jamie grew up he was a HUGE MCU fan with that Captain America wall! Speaking of, time to watch The Marvels! The teleporting combat in that movie is fantastic.
When i was a kid we lived in my Mom's friends basement and we had pissed in a drain in the floor, My sisters and I made mixtapes like we were radio DJ's on blank cassette tapes and recorded the radio songs between our commentary. For that Christmas we got a couple bags of clothes from the goodwill to go through and take what we liked. I Kept an old faded Troy Aikman jersey that everyone made fun of me for and a Turbo Man, I had n clue what it was till i seen this movie years later. I wish i still had it.
I have seen this movie a hundred times, but I was today years old when I found out Sinbad was saying Rodney King when he was being Dogpiled in the mall.

Definitely.
First kid was my favorite childhood movie!!!And Blank check!!!❤
Absolutely none of those are obscure. All are pop culture family movies.
Well most of Nickelodeon and Disney was our culture.. They were the major networks and investors knew that. Sure, I loved other movies and shows, but overall, 90's was the peak of entertainment
@@brandonethereal1084 The hardest movie to find anyone to react too is Fly away home. No one's ever done it.
I just realized you’re the only reactor I’ve seen reacting to the EXTENDED version of this film! Bravo Leo! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That's because he's the GOAT!
Wait... There's an extended version?
I did catch a scene that I didn't recognize. Just figured I forgot a part or two. Didn't know there was an extended cut
I remember I spent weeks looking for that version of the movie cause no streaming service ever had it. Same thing with the first Austin Powers movie lol.
RIP Phil Hartman who played Ted killed by his wife in 1998 😢
And then she unalived herself afterwards.
@JamesASharp yeah and the messed up part is she buried next to him
Yeah that whole situation was sad.
@brandonethereal1084 yeah it was he was really an amazing comedian
Drugs are bad
This movie never gets the flowers it deserves. Most underrated Christmas movie ever. Great duo. Comedy gold.
33:16 There are jet packs in real life but they have horrible gas mileage!!
11:50 Yeardley Smith!! The iconic voice of Miss Lisa Simpson!!
Classic! Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sinbad, Jim Belushi and the Late-Great Phil Hartman
Not to mention Robert Conrad (Wild Wild West, and various movies) who played the police officer. Showing my age here, lol
@@TheMarvelousM and colonial mustard himself, Martin Mull!

Guy channel. 🎅
@maryellenazack4466 Other than Terminator and Predator and the movie Twins are the only movies I know Arnold in. But I have seen kindergartener cop.
*This is one of my guilty pleasure Christmas movies*
Not a guilty pleasure at all, it is one of the best.

I knew he died, but I never knew this story.

The late Robert Conrad!
The genuine sadness in the delivery of, "You broke my little mirror.." is so good haha
If you liked Sinbad in this movie, I recommend watching "The First Kid" and "Houseguest" those are extraordinarily funny.
