Sometimes people cause there own arrest. If she has ever been pulled over. You wait until they ask you to step out. I understand being afraid with all that is going on. I would think it would have been a different outcome. At least I would hope it would be.
I recently got pulled over for an expired tag, oops. My purse was in my back seat. I sat there till he got to my window and asked me for ID. I explained to him my purse was in the back seat. He had me roll my back window down and he got it and handed it to me. I gave him my ID and shortly after I was on my way home.
These guys automatically think that since they're black they have to do everything differently in order to save their life, instead that puts them at a higher risk, like one of these videos was of a girl getting her car removed off a stolen car list and she just had to wait and she made a big deal about it and went berserk and got arrested! Her own fault
@@foxysil52 not that lucky. My dad got shot and my cousin shot dead by police in 1975. I'm not naive to how police handle some situations, my dad was shot with his hands up. Not only speaking for myself, I have taught my children how to behave when getting pulled over.
Well we don’t know what he was saying he might have said something that made her think that. She handled this strangely but I think it should be a citizen’s right to request another police officer. But also he didn’t seem like he waited for her to talk with the 911 dispatcher. What if she had a medical issue that she felt needed to be addressed about the way this interaction might go.
Exactly. If he was that close to her, it would’ve been heard. She lied about him having the handcuffs out because we can clearly see his hands up. She also lied about him “twisting” her arm. He grabbed her arm & she flailed around like a fish & got herself twisted. And lied about the taser.
She said- "What you cant hear is the officer screaming & yelling at me" but we would have heard him if he was yelling on the 911 tape, he was within a foot of her!!!

She should have waited in the car then politely told the officer she had her license in the trunk and ask him what he wanted her to do. Dont assume the officer knows your mindset.
White female here: I had a cop point a gun at me when I got out of my car to close my trunk I didn't realize was open until I stopped. He didn't turn his lights on until I put the car in park to try to close it quickly. I got back into my vehicle like I was asked to do though. It never made the news, but on that day I learned not to get out of my vehicle if a cop is driving behind me.
What if he'd shot her saying she was going for a gun? We've seen this before. The fact that she called 911 for help, indicated she wasn't posing a threat. US law enforcement like to put hands on and use handcuffs too soon without conversation. Where is their communication skills?

It's VERY dangerous for a police officer when a person jumps out of their car. Many police officers have been shot or shot at by suspects exiting their cars.

@@mamiemassaquoi4417 a ticket is the same as arrest and release, it keeps the jail from being over filled, but it is at the officer's descretion. So it was always ok to arrest her if you want to get right down to it.
The guy who was arresting her was part of Metro Transit police so it is likely she wanted a REAL city police officer to help de-escalate the situation.

Getting out of your car walking towards a cop after being pulled over isn't too bright. Strike one. Then calling 911 while the cop is standing there. Strike two. Then resisting arrest once he was fed up. Strike three your out of there- in jail.

I agree it isn't bright but I have watched other people getting pulled over and they get out. One incident the guy got out and screamed at the officer very aggressive and said check the plates, run the plates. The cop did and let him go. The cop never got out, the guy ended up being a judge. He only got out of his car to tell the officer off. So if it's so bad to get out of car why did he get away with it, just because he is a judge? He was rude, aggressive, and cussing.
I know and this is what people want out there dealing with criminals; someone with a victim complex who would probably sympathize more with the criminal rather than laying down the law.

Approximately 8 times out of 10, if the person is resisting and not cooperating, its because they have drugs, weapons, or a warrant...which means the person will likely become violent. So the officer had every right to meet her disobedience and outrageous behavior with discretionally regulated force. The officer reacted according to her resistance and her failure to cooperate.

I got pulled over 1 week ago. I waited for him to come to my door. He told me he pulled me over for a broken license plate light. I gave him my license. I did not make a call on my cell and ignore him. I did not act like an angry antagonistic jerk. We talked for a minute. He saw I was not drunk and had no warrants. I left without a ticket. Seemed like a decent guy. Her stop could have gone exactly the same way, it was totally up to her.
Unbelievable. This young lady did not break the law by getting out of her cat whether the cops liked it or not. He was there to uphold the law and if he was so scared of this young girl he could have politely asked her to get back in her car. He chose to terrorise her by screaming and shouting and probably threatening her with violence.

I actually think the officer did everything right she jumped out the car and she was suppose to stay in the car and could have told him that your license was in the trunk then he would have let you step out the vehicle or he would open it for you never step out of your car when being pulled over.

She said that the officer had his handcuffs out when he approached her, yet we clearly see him reach for his handcuffs when he was trying to detain her. I don't think the officer was rude, vulgar, or anything she says. If she lies about the handcuffs, she probably lies about everything. She's just trying to use the "black card" to cause problems, and try to overshadow her unreasonable conduct.

Check out a video of a man pulled over who got out of his vehicle, screaming and yelling and cussing at the cop. He was extremely aggressive towards the cop. The cop did nothing and obeyed the man when the man said run my plates. Cop found out the man was a judge. So not only did he get away with traffic infraction, he got away with getting out of vehicle while being aggressive towards police and cussing and swearing and yelling. This white man got out of a vehicle and behaved in a threatening way towards cop even before cop got out of vehicle.

One incident the guy got out and screamed at the officer very aggressive and said check the plates, run the plates. The cop did and let him go. The cop never got out, the guy ended up being a judge. He told me he pulled me over for a broken license plate light.
I gave him my license.
I did not make a call on my cell and ignore him.

This cop totally overreacted. She was just standing there talking on the phone, not hurting anyone, not acting aggressively, when the cop spontaneously and without good reason whipped out his handcuffs and started to arrest her. That was totally unnecessary. It was just a typical example of an impatient cop
throwing his weight aound. If the cop had been mature and professional, he would've just waited for the woman to finish her phone call and then written her the traffic ticket and gone on his way. That would've saved everyone a lot of hassle and the taxpayers a lot of money.
But cops have to be IN COMMAND at all times. They gotta show everyone who's boss. _Respect mah authoritah!_ This arrogant attitude causes all kinds of problems. It alienates the community, diminishes respect for the police, unnecessarily burdens the criminal justice system, and results in expensive lawsuits.

The minute you DO NOT do as the officer says that's when you get no sympathy. Had she remained calm and followed his direction, she probably would have been on her way in a few minutes.

Check out a video of a man pulled over who got out of his vehicle, screaming and yelling and cussing at the cop. He was extremely aggressive towards the cop. The cop did nothing and obeyed the man when the man said run my plates. Cop found out the man was a judge. So not only did he get away with traffic infraction, he got away with getting out of vehicle while being aggressive towards police and cussing and swearing and yelling.
This white man got out of a vehicle and behaved in a threatening way towards cop even before cop got out of vehicle.
She should have obey the officer damn don't fight you won't win
