I’m sorry shame on everyone that clicked on a thumbs up for this comment. No, the comment should’ve been. This is why some people don’t respect some cops. You can’t sit there and say because of this you don’t respect all of them. That’s very unfair to say.

@@scottb.4472 No - one bad apple ruins the entire bunch if these bad apples are allowed to keep their jobs and there are no consequences. Good cops have got to speak out against the bad cops, or they're at fault too.

@@brooksfire9580 he was fired, but the problem was he did something like this at another precinct where he worked he should’ve never become a cop again, so I agree with you and sometimes good cops. Don’t want to speak out because sometimes you know they’re intimidated and it might mean their job to speak out I understand what you’re saying, but you know what if you’re saying that one bad apple can ruin it for everything isn’t that stereotyping and could actually almost be a form of prejudice? I had my bicycle stolen by someone when I was like 10 years old if I hated everyone that looked like that kid, I would’ve grown up a lot differently, but thank God I had two parents that told me otherwise and showed me the right thing to do and you don’t blame an entire race creed or religion for one apple so I agree with you and in a way I think we should all just relax a little bit, and listen to reason.

The requirements to be a beautician are more stringent and demanding than they are to be a cop. Score too high on the IQ test and you will be rejected by the police academy. That has been upheld in the courts. They don't want smart cops with good judgment. They are not even required to know the laws they are supposed to enforce, and the courts have ruled that cops have zero duty to protect citizens from harm. “Serve & Protect” is an empty PR slogan. There are many jobs that do not require you to carry a gun, and don't even come close to the possibility of lethal force that require not only more extensive training and education than to be a cop, but also require continuing education credits, require a professional license or certification that must be periodically renewed, and require professional malpractice insurance. Covid was top line-of-duty death for US police for third year running in 2022. It isn't even one of the most dangerous jobs by any means.

cops are not obligated at all to inform the person why they pulled them over. The cops would only need to prove that information to a judge. Also depending on the state laws which vary, some states cops can ask people to exit vehicle on their own discretion and some states may need probable cause. The cop does not need to explain the probable cause to the suspect. If the cop has the probable cause then the suspect has no choice but to exit the vehicle. If the suspect refuses then the officer has the right to use force to remove the person from the vehicle. In every case a person refuses to give the proper documentation the person will be removed from the car. If the cop asked for the documentation and at least gave the suspect enough to time to retrieve the documents, THen it doesnt matter if the cop could have handled the situation better, if the cop met the requirements and the suspect is at fault for the physical force used on them.
