Something about the back of the F50 that just makes it look imposing, and of course that sound.
My two favourite cars of all time. The F50 and F40. Pure legends.
The F50 is less legendary because it wasn't as revolutionary and is pretty inferior to an F40. But yes, it's iconic as well (beautiful also), if that's what you meant.

It's a bit of an irony that Monaco is one of the worst places in the world to actually drive supercars, you can't get out of first gear. It's also amusing that hardly anyone cares if you drive an F50 around except the few tourists because it's an everyday occurrence to see expensive cars. If you drove/parked an F50 around most other European cities and towns it would get swamped by people. In Monaco, it barely gets a second look.
the 90s were the peak of supercars. they were raw and mechanical and the f50 was the greatest of them along with the mclaren f1 .
The F50 is so wide and exotic.

I don't understand why everyone seems to hate the f50's styling, I've always thought it was a pretty good looking car. It seems every older review on it is negative. Maybe it's because Ferrari marketed it as an F1 car for the road and it didn't deliver on that. It's always said that it's not as good as the f40 but on its own I think it's a pretty cool car, but I never drove one so I'm not sure. Anyone ever drove one and have a bad experience?
Maybe, they expected something else like the Enzo is now, but at least for me, the F50 is the best looking Ferrari ever. I have never driven one, but it would be nice at least to see one closely.
For me personally it's still F40 > F50 somehow. I prefer the older cars styling.
But the F50 is still one of my dream cars (that will stay dreams) for sure!

It looks far far better than the f40 in my opinion. Much more advanced styling. I have always preferred the 50 to the 40 and never understood why it is not liked

I'd take any 250 (GTO, California etc) over the Enzo. I'd take the 458 over the Enzo. And by far the F40 or F50, 288 GTO and so on :p
I personally never liked the Enzo thaaaat much. Technical sweet, as it follows the same idea as the F40 and F50: F1 and pure racing technology for the road. But the look never fit my taste.

I have top 10 , but I don't like to play who is number 1# I kinda like variety and prestige that goes along with a halo car. I don't like this trend of startup supercar companies trying to be like porsche ferrari and lamborghini
I mean Koenigsegg and pagani are cool but the rest of these companies are just for showing off no back story no motorsport history no brand loyalty
***** I'm kinda split between bugatti, they only seem to produce just one model a decade, they had the bugatti eb110 and the current phased out bugatti veyron . There developing the new bugatti chiron bit that's it. But Ikinda respect bugatti with the engineering development of that engine and how comfortable and at the same time produce that amount downforce 360-420 kph

They let you drive the car for around ~100$ in Monaco. The guy is probably the company instructor. He drives around the town. They let you drive the car by yourself after you get used to the power delivery. Back in the day when I was visiting Monaco I only saw a test drives offered with a newer models. Maybe with such cars as F50 they do not let random people drive it because they are too expensive, but I dont know.

I think this is the best looking and definitely the best sounding ferrari. The f40, testarossa and gto are my faves too but I think the f50 is the most thrilling to drive.....of them all.

I've actually been fortunate enough to encounter an F50 on my bike while on the road, it sounded gorgeous and yes we did have a race, i beat it.. but felt bad doing so because it's a dream car of mine.. Though beating an F50 is something I'll never forget... my ZX12R was much faster.. But i love the F50's looks and sound.. it was deafening.
That Abarth 500 with the Monza exhaust sounds almost as good!!

The f40 was built for speed as the f50 was simply looks and engine sounds and the brand name is what you pay for as the f40 was a real super car
The f50 is often regarded as a more rewarding car to drive.
Yes people think it's for speed when it simply isn't it's only a fraction of a second faster than the f40 and has pretty much the same engine different muffler it was made for looks and could be much faster and doesn't even look nice
The F50 is slightly slower acceleration wise than the f40. The engine is an f1 derived v12 not a v8turbo. Watch evo's video on analog super cars where there compare both. The f50 has a level or refinement that simply wasn't there on the f40. Looks are subjective but i will concede that most people believe the f40 in the better looking car.

The original Ferrari F-50 was more cubic in design and I remember well the sketches, it was a prototype and had no tail...
