Thanks for watching and for your helpful comment 👍😀 I'm afraid I let my frustrations out on this video, my previous video saw the average viewing time go down from just over 3 minutes to 2 minutes. I think I need to make a special video for those who quite clearly find nothing much worth watching in my videos at all. I'll keep an eye out for that Niken of yours every time I'm out 👍😀
Get out on the Sunday did you. Easter Sunday everything shut I. NZ 🇳🇿.We went on ride to visit friend I. Hospital 🤕 & wanted to go for coffee but everything shut except petrol stations & Dairy's.Was a nice day for a ride similar day to what you had.
The sound is good. I guess it's trial & era to get the sound of the bike & your voice & minimal wind noise.I'd say you're pretty close just fine tweaking can hear your voice really good a bit more engine noise be better but it's all fine tuning you'll get there, you nearly are sounds good. Wind noise isn't a issue so much now I 'd say.
Audio is ok for me. You get a great day for riding and the sun comes our right in front of you. Great seeing the views as you ride around that Loch. But I must say the 360 seems to deal with it quite well. And to top it off the cafe was closed. Nice work.
Audio has been a real trial, on my first ride on the ZZR1400 the Rode receiver blew off never to be found again. Every bike with a different screen adds a new challenge as does a change of helmet. The 360 is great for capturing all around but lacks quality as a main camera, I'm now using the DJI and may add the 360 for other perspectives. Thanks for your superb support 😊👍
Cheers buddy 👍😀 I tried to get the best balance of voice, bike and less wind, once you reach certain speeds wind noise tends to drown out everything else 🌬️🌪️
There's no escaping it Michael, that is a hell of a bike! It is a work of art and am so glad Triumph made it and no one else! Gotta be a cult bike really. Helmet looks very tidy, sound sounds good, got the right balance between bike and voice 😎🤠👍
Cheers Duncan, it's an awesome bike to own. I fancied one from when they first came out along with the Harley Davidson Fat Bob but the Kawasaki ZZR1400 was the right choice at the time. I'm glad I waited and got the Triple Black it stands out even against the TFT for me. It took my campervan being stolen to be able to afford the Rocket but it has fairly made up for the feeling of loss that I had. The new helmet looks good and it's lighter but it's also noisier around the ears. The new mic placement seems to work quite well, still a bit of wind noise but if I reduce that I'd loose the sound of the bike. Thanks for your support 👍😀
We buy taller screens and screen extenders to try to combat the wind but most of the time they simply amplify it and guide it headwards. We wait for long enough for dry sunny days, then the sun always seems straight into the camera. Sometimes you can't win for losing 😕
It a real pity our cameras cannot really capture the stunning views we have on our doorstep. Been down that road many times and also experienced the car that whizzed past you in the 50mph zone, in this case there is good reason to restrict speed on that stretch of road. Sound was a lot better and helmet looks very smart.
That Porsche came as a complete surprise, he came from behind so quick, it was only later I was able to show the approach on the 360 camera. Ironically I ended up behind it at the LochEarnhead junction. I stopped in Tyndrum at the Green Welly and on the return ride he passed me again in the next town in a 30 limit. Ahead of me was an average speed camera, I hope he got caught. The new helmet is a bit tight but it'll bed in, it has D ring fastening though and I just can't get the hang of fastening it 😤
Hi Sammy thanks for your support, it's great to have people appreciating the time and effort taken to produce such videos 👍😀 Sadly my average view time is down to 2 minutes, quite clearly, scenery, the sounds of the bike or anything I have to say is of no interest to these people. In future I'll try to keep them shorter and make Special two minute long parodies for those for whom watching any longer is far too challenging 😟
@@greywolf9292 yeah, I've noticed that longer videos seem to lose the viewers. I hate making them shorter, but I'm trying to more now. Might as well do 3 shorter ones than a 30+ minute one I guess. I've so much footage to get through and just hit a wall recently. But I'll get there eventually.
@@ScottishSaorsa Thanks Sammy, I understand the logic of what you're saying , yet in the past when I have made three part videos, part two draws less views and part three less again. I will however try to keep future videos to no longer than 15 minutes. Good luck with all that editing, I look forwards to seeing the footage 👍😀
@@greywolf9292 I keep saying I'll make them shorter, but often the video just needs to be the length it ends up being, and if it isn't keeping folks attention, I'd say the fault is with their attention span. TH-cam keeps trying to push these 'shorts' now because folks watch tiktok etc for hours but it's all silly little videos. But truth is, almost none of them are actually watching anything worthwhile. I'd rather sit for a while and watch something than constantly see lots of short 'nothing' videos.
@@ScottishSaorsa I totally agree with you there. I could speed up parts of the video x10 and just let all the stunning scenery speed bye. Then there would also be no engine sound or commentary. I've decided I'll play the short attention spanner's at their own game. I'm going to sit on my couch with my crash helmet on, arms stretched to imaginary handlebars. I'll make Vroom..Vroom noises, add a picture of a tree and a mountain and lean when I come to an imaginary corner. I'll even make rev matching noises when I should be changing down and get my wife to blast me with the bike dryer for some authentic wind draft 😉😂
Well, I enjoy the videos, the scenery, the roads and the chatter, which I have to say has improved Mike. Have you tried the mic actually IN the cheek pad? Cuts a lot of the wind noise away too. Stay safe buddy
Thanks for your support and encouragement, I'll try the mic in the cheek pad to see if that's better. I'm sure I used to do that with my old helmet with the mic Mrs Wolf uses now. The new helmet seems a lot thinner in construction around the ears. I'm hearing way more wind noise despite wearing ear plugs 🙉
Shame the first café was shut, hope they haven't gone under. Where the second café was I think I remember that location from an earlier video. Perfect having a 360 to capture that Porsche. There's a strange mosaic pattern appearing intermittently throughout the video. It's pronounced at 0:28 shown above the sun. At 6:07 the pattern appears this time not over the sun but in the same position relative to the framing, as you pan round the mosaic ends up back over the sun. The pattern tries to make an appearance over the sun at 16:18 The pattern makes it's last appearance right at the end at 20:04 Only a guess but I think it might be a problem with the encoding software. Anyway, thanks for the video and good luck with that service coming up.
Cheers Toastie I noticed a For Sale sign at the café which was shut. It was after 5pm when I got there so perhaps that's why it was shut. The mosaic phenomenon is a problem with my own decoding software. I used it to cover the sun which was flaring on the lens protector. Just trying to protect folks eyes but as it's a fixed effect I failed miserably in places. However I noticed myself when I didn't put the mosaic there was still a block pattern within the sun itself, sort of pixelation. I've often wondered why they changed it's bulb from halogen (yellow) to LED ( pure white)🤔😉
@@greywolf9292 Ha ha you had me going there head scratching trying to think what it could be. But thanks for thinking of us and trying to save out eyeballs 🤣👍
@@BeansOnToast_YT Its quite a serious topic, someone has stolen the real sun. As a child we always painted it yellow because it looked yellow. Now it's pure white and they feel they need to protect us from it 🤔🥵
@@greywolf9292 Vitamin D is said to be very good for us so I want to get out as much as poss this year. A normy comment to me just the other they about why we hardly ever see blue skies or if we do it's clouded over by lunch time. I just smiled and played dumb, after the last few years I play dumb a lot more 😂
@@BeansOnToast_YT Oh Normy's are a real challenge, I'll bet a few watched my previous video and though WTF 🤔 As for Vitamin D, I wasn't aware you could get that from LED's I think you'd better rely on supplements just in case.😊 Skin cancers are also much more prevalent since the sun turned white 😟 There must be a deeper reason for blotting out light from the sun other than stopping folks getting free solar power. My Granny used to say Red sky at night, shepherds delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning. Now it's red every morning 🤔😯
