I have to say, Im a Brit and personally this is the best review I've seen to date because they're either one bike or the other or if one after another don't spend enough time showing the aesthetic differences, more how comfortable it is compared to the R, after a few reviews your the only one that showed that the pegs are interchangeable etc. Which I was trying to find out for a while, obviously reviews are subjective but this was great, cheers. Oh, and what an awesome machine.
AT last!! Probably the best walk round and review I've seen & I've watched loads as I have a GT Model on order in the U.K. The only SMALL criticism I have is - all these roads test (esp in the USA) take place on freeways and in town traffic. There is hardly any cornering or hills which makes Sport Mode a bit redundant when all everyone does is blip the throttle for quarter of a mile. Other than that, a great review.
i have one -- absolutely love it And i also have a harley VROD -- let me tell you - this bike runs circles around the harley - It's just an amazing ride well designed , well thought out and - well what else can i say by the way -- the phantom black is gorgeous -- you can't see it but in the sun there are blue metallic flakes of paint .
I like that you told us your height. It puts it into perspective why you find the GT more comfortable. I'm about 4 inches shorter than you; so the mid-controls of the "R" are perfect for me.
I saw this review when it first posted. It has taken me awhile but I just purchased a 2022 Rocket III GT Triple Black (Limited Edition). Man alive that bike is gorgeous in person.
This is a quality machine no doubt, one issue however is the pillion accommodation, the seat is small but there may be an alternative out there, but the leg position for the pillion is not good and for a bike this big it should be , this is why I am not in the market for one, a great review however so thank you
