This track is the result of my experiment, in which I tried to recreate some of the Portal 2 signature sounds and make an epic track that could be used in an escape sequence. At the beginning I've recreated a few synth sounds often used throughout the Portal 2 soundtrack. I started to compose this song from the ending part first, so that was quite an unusual approach.
The artwork was created by my friend Alex Demolisher.
I used Reason 7 to make this track. Some of the refills and REs I used include Rob Papen's Predator and Euphonic Strings.

the scenery this puts in my head is horrifying enough that i want it to be put in a mod of some-kind.
this song feels like apertures chaotic dying moments, watching the whole fucking facility crumble, tubes melting, panels burning away, still-active fizzlers falling decimating catwalks. i love it.

Some core games like to use this as a quick 'freezedown' soundtrack. I mean, it fits well.

1: Vojta, this track is absolutely AMAZING! One of the best song's I've ever heard.
2: This song is overused as hell for "Reactor Core Freezedown's"
One thing I would like to say for Reactor Core Freezedown's, is that they are physically impossible. That is according to the laws of Physics. Although, the only time it make's sense is a Anti-Matter Black Hole, or a Dark Matter black hole. Although, I do think anti-matter induced black hole's would be red, although real black hole's have been noted to have an orange glow around them.
Sorry about going on a rant about Black Hole's.
Real BH's orange glow is overheated particles around black hole, not just the outline.
Cant say anything about antimatter black holes, but what causes "black hole" to be "black" is literally the space around and behind. You cant see the black hole, but you can see that it curves the space-time, causing parts of space behind BH to be distorted, so what would be red there?
Cant say anything dark matter black holes either.

i could see this as an alternate turn of events, where wheatley never took control, and you just dismantled glados, this is a sequence that utilizes flinging and portal techniques to get to an escape pod, but the time you arive, its already fallen, sending you, and wheatley, into old aperture.

I use reason and i would love to know how you produce portal sounding music like this it matches portal perfectly.
I also use Reason and I found a sound in there called Big Sync with the Thor polysonic synthesizer which would go so well with this style
