Thanks for good specific info! Standing at the nursery, it's impossible to know the difference in all the petunia varieties, but now I can see the differences.
You are so knowledgeable about flowers! Love your channel. This is my first year having supertunias. And verbena, which you totally inspired me to get. 😊
I used to buy the cheap packs of petunias and never really liked how they looked. I started planting proven winners supertunias 2 years ago and will be planting them from now on. Yes, they are more money per plant, but the amount of growth and longevity they have, makes them worth so much more.
@@nivvie88in the US, many places carry them. I live near some garden nurseries and they all carry it. Small towns may struggle to find any, and have to order shipped.
This is my First time growing flowers ever so I watched this video, I followed everything you said I planted 2 Supertunia bubblegum in a 20” pot and now just 6 weeks later the pot is super full, big growth upward and spilling over the pot… thank you for sharing your knowledge and advice
Hey Corey, its always soooo good to watch your informative videos.... Thank You ... Thank You.... Thank You for clearing so many doubts about Petunias.. there types and how many to plant in a basket... Cheers... :)
I love calliope geraniums especially here in the south. They hold up better in the heat! I have several red ones that I have kept going for years.....(stored in boxes in newspaper over winter.).
@@UpNorthGardenMIsadly my late gramma (born 1917) loved red geraniums but had to stop growing them because I found out they made me sneeze. If they ever create a variety I am not allergic to, I will grow them again in her memory. Until then, I just have to watch on TH-cam what you grow from a distance.
Budworms aren’t a big problem here, but it sounds like they can decimate petunias. My understanding is that weekly spraying of BT may be the only way to keep them in check.
I just found your videos and I'm learning so much! I have been looking online for 14" hanging pots to transplant the flowers from the 10" pots I purchased at the store. Can you share the depth of the pots you use, and the source if possible? I'm not finding anything that looks as deep as the pots you have shown. Thanks so much!
I don't want you to end your your video. I just to go on watching those beautiful beautiful petunias in full bloom ❤ from India

Beautiful plants! What zone are you in? Just wondering about your weather.
Zone 4/5
I loved my supertunias last year, but struggled with bud worms.

Ours are about 7.5” deep. It’s called a Seneca basket.
@@UpNorthGardenMI Great, thank you!
What size are the original plants you used in these containers? Thanks!😊
Some were quart containers, some were small plugs.
Corey!!! You start out so well with talking and then you take off. It's frustrating but I'll still watch your videos 🌺🌸🌼
I did this a few years ago and put 3 plants in a pot died mid summer heat last few years 2 plants per pot no problems same watering aas previous years
Where you buy your supertunias?
Posen, Michigan. Proven Winners has a retail finder on their website.
Please list you source for the 14 inch hanging pots
They’re called a Seneca Basket.
@@UpNorthGardenMI thank you
Help!!! What size are the petunia containers you're using in these baskets?
The baskets are mostly 14” - the petunias came out of 1 qt containers - no bedding petunias used here
Do they come back every year?
Petunias are not perennial in our zone. I think you’d have to be a zone 10 or 11.
Bubblegum is getting so repetitive. Pretty plant but everyone everywhere has the same color of the same plant.
