Thanks buddy! Much appreciated. It is a good rig to start off and then upgrade. I am going to add rear steer to this soon and post a video on that. Stay tuned 💪✌️

Thanks buddy! It's a good rig to start off with. The electronics suck like any other RTR other than that it has a lot of potential. I wish they made a kit for this. I would suggest getting a used one if possible for cheap and then modify it. Hope you get yours soon! Cheers 🙌

Impressive modifications! It's a 35T motor I have in my Mauler, combined with a 1080 ESC! Not so fast any more, but a lot more torque!

Thanks buddy. Your rig sounds impressive! I will check out your content on that. I have recently switched to an AX 2 speed setup on my Mauler. I have posted the setup vid and I am soon going to put out a vid of the test run. Thanks for the sub ✌️

All small stones and grit will stick to the gears when using grease there, thats why they are dry. That will destroy the gears.

Only the spur and pinion gear are outside. The transmission case is completely sealed off hence there is no way anything can get in there and destroy the gears inside. It's the only place where I have applied the grease. Same goes for the differentials as well, they are sealed hence hold the grease inside.

Btw I have since upgraded to the AX2 2 speed transmission. I have uploaded my setup video, you can check that out. I am going to test it out soon too and post a video about it.

Your spur gear and pinion are meshed to tight can you not hear the truck screaming, best not to use grease on plastic parts any dirt or dust will ruin the gears. Looks good though

Hey Ashley thanks your suggestion. One of the three screws holding the spur had fallen out. The whole thing was built quite cheap. I have replaced the transmission since then for a RC4WD 2 speed setup. It has a 32DP, instead of the 48DP, spur and pinion that mesh much better and make almost no sound at all. I have also added 4 wheel steer to this now. Check out the other videos in the channel for that. As far as the greasing goes. Liqui Molly protects plastic from wear and tear and actually seals the gearbox from external elements like water and dirt. So I don't agree with you on this one. But glad you enjoyed the video and took time to write a comment. Hope you keep visiting.
