- We got our hands on a set of them!! The new Sticky 2.2 from Ottsix Racing!
These things are massive and very impressive.
I was surprised to see the thicker under-tread rubber and the internal ribs to the sidewall!

Since our nicer wheels had not arrived yet, we took some spray paint and rejuvenated some older wheels for use. This was pretty cool also.

I think the grooves and details inside the tire are to support the sidewalls, so that they don't fold over when you are on an angle. They look sweet!👍👍
That does make sense. Would seem to take some of the effort from the foams. Might need soft foams in them.

I initially tried to just keep the water out...and have the ripped tires to prove it. Instead - just let the water come back out!

It seems everyone has their own opinions on venting. I personally do it to make sure I can get the water back out!
I've had good luck with beadlocks and no vents but if the wheels are vented I do the same as you and give it a way out.
Nice video, I didn’t know about punching a hole in the tire but I never run in wet conditions much less puddles

I ordered the foams from Ottsix that they recommend for the tires.
If you slightly relieve the pressure on the punch,then rotate the tire a couple degrees, without allowing the punch to exiting the hole, then apply pressure again,you will get a clean cut.
The webbing inside the tire is for support of the tire. Thanks to an old skool racer named Brian Kinwald,who once cut a tire open and ran the inside out, we have dirt web type tire for our race cars.

They are mean on the rock bouncers that run them, sooo aggressive. Now i wanna get some
Agree 100%. They are a great tire depending on the application!
To deal with water i only run sealed beadlocks. Water never gets in so dont have to worry about getting it out
When I tried it, seems like water eventually got in. Plus, I really didn't like the feel where it had trapped air in it.

I have a danchee ridgerock and the stock tires really suck when its comes to traction in rocks

I have 2 sets of very similer wheels by HPI and they are only beadlock wheels i have that have taken any tire no probs.
I have a few sets of metal beadlocks in 1.9 and 2.2 and they are a real nightmare to fit any tire i have tried.
It bugs me that i cant get my MS XXL to fit anything other than my plastic rims.
Ahh well i guess they will find a home some day haha.

They would be rather bad as bashing tires, depending on exactly what you mean by bashing.
What vehicle do you want to put them on?
I have a set of 2.2 tires the width are 45mm the height is 122mm. I’m not sure the size of the rim. There is a set of tires that measures at 60mm wide and 130mm tall. I would love to get those tires and put them on my rims but I’m not sure they will fit. Even though both sets are 2.2 one is bigger than the other. I have heard story’s if people doing what I wanna do and when they get there tires they won’t fit because there rims are either not wide enough or not tall enough. How should I go about this?
I have honestly never had a set of tires that didn't mount.
You should be able to mount the tires to any correct diameter wheels.
