Thanks again Beautiful Charlie, Day 16 down on your beginners playlist. I'm not " technically " a beginner. But , becauseI've got advanced stage cirrhosis of the liver, I was bed bound for several months causing my muscles to atrophy. Now , I just have to be gentle and mindful as I try to work on my strength and capabilities. Because, I I don't, I could hurt myself more than I am already. So , while I'm waiting to get on the transplant list, I'm trying to maintain my yoga. Glad I stumbled upon your profile. Thanks again. Blessings and love from my heart to yours, namaste 🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻🕉☀️😘😘😘🐶🐈⬛🐈🫏🐎🐤🐥🐾🐾🐾🌻🐞🌻🌸🦋🌸💜💙💚💛🧡❤️❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ 25:01
Here I am even if a bit late to the party I am determined to finish the challenge! This made me sweat! And made me feel I can do more than I thought I could. Thank you, Charlie! ❤
This one was challenging for me, but for the first time i was able to do a full chaturanga movement, I am so proud of myself and the progress I’m making. Thank you
This one was a bit tough for me, but so so great!! I’m going through a tough time right now, and it felt like my body released even more today. I started unexpectedly sobbing about halfway through, paused it for a few mins, mindfully listened to my body and let it out, then resumed the practice. I feel so so free and light. I’m also sharing this in case anyone else has experienced this, or wants to. Letting yourself go during the practice feels so so freeing. Tuning into our bodies is hard but it’s what the body is begging us to do every day, I believe. I feel like yoga TH-cam videos work so well bc we can be alone & just with ourselves without subconsciously worrying about what others think/making the poses look perfect. Thank you Charlie so so much for this month challenge!! It is changing my life and I’m so happy and grateful to obtain a healthy habit of practicing yoga every day. 💚 I hope it is going well for everyone else practicing ☺️ Sending love & light to all 🌟
What a great way to start the day. I am 64, and I have been dabbling in yoga for the past 30 years always trying to get a consistent practice. As a runner, I have a long history of going for the aerobic burn and the accomplishment of finishing. In the past few years when I have done more yoga consistently, I noticed that I am still always trying to get done. The biggest change I have noticed over these past 16 days is that my mind is not doing that anymore. I am staying with body for the whole practice. Thank you for this Charlie.
What a great win to stay in the body. 😀 My mind wandered for a bit today as it was challenging, wanting to complain, but by the end of it, I felt really great.
This was the first one I felt like giving up halfway through but I made it. I wish I could say I feel great like everyone else seems to but I was more frustrated than anything and felt defeated. Just writing this here for anyone else who's not glowing at the end of these routines. At least we're sticking with it.
I remember an athlete said her coach told her that there is a rule of thirds, a third of the time training will feel amazing, a third it will feel okay and a third will feel disappointing/hard. I feel like that applies to more things than just sport! Glad you persevered through it! Yesterday was a mentally challenging day for me, so I am doing this practice a day late. Hopefully tomorrow feels great for you ❤
Thank you, Charlie! I started off today not wanting to do anything; I put on your video and kept thinking this is too long I’ll probably stop before. But it made me feel so good that I went all the way to the end. ❤ Thank you
Over 16 days I have built some strength up (post op) slowly, gently, without noticing actually. Thank you Charlie for taking me back to basics and realising that foundational work is just as important as high flying practices 🙏🏻🧘🏻♀️
Thank you Charlie. I'm definitely not a beginner but this was challenging to me. I love how great it makes me feel when I manage to accomplish everything, even though it's beginners level. Also it's great to take some extra time to learn about the postures foundations. Thank you very much for your work.
Here!! Here!! Tried doing this in the morning and discovered - my body moves well and energetic in the evening, shifting it to the evening from now!! Took a lot of pauses today but that's okay, I am listening to my body and didn't completely give up in the middle - that's a win!!!!!!
Thank you so much for these videos! I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 50 years, with and without a teacher, and it always feels so good to come back to it again. I am now 81 years old, no longer drive, so can’t get to a class these days. I found your videos a couple of weeks ago, and am really enjoying them. Over the years, various circumstances have caused me to pause my practice, but I always come back. I’m so happy to be once again moving and stretching, this time with your gentle help and encouragement. It feels wonderful, as always! Thank you!🙏🏽 ❤
Thank you. My body was heavy today, but I really enjoyed this session. Day 16 for me. I am a bit better in Warrior 3. This session took me to the next level. Namaste.
Loving doing these beginners classes as it re teaches things you have forgotten and refines the poses too so will keep doing them every day as they have helped enormously, thank you Charlie for all your hard work🙏
I wasn’t feeling great (physically) yesterday, so I switched day 17 and 16. I’m really glad that I did because this practice wouldn’t have been too draining yesterday, but it felt grate today! I am grateful that videos are released a day early so I could do that
Day 16! Wow Charlie, this is phenomenal, I love the way I feel after dedicating time to these sessions. I did this first thing in the morning and my mind is right to tackle the day and whatever comes my way. Peace and blessings to you and all who are committing to this challenge together. See you tomorrow!
One of my favorites so far! I was having a difficult time motivating myself to start today’s practice but I got it done before midnight. I have to remind myself I never regret taking the time to move my body and calm my mind.
Did this on day 17! Honestly challenging but I could keep up. I see the results of keeping up with the videos specially in my upperbody but there is still a long way to go! Thank you very much for this challenge, I ve never done anything like this and it is so good that I started on the begginin (day 4 I think) because it keeps me motivated that each day I have a new video to check out and do! Thank you Charlie have a nice day Namaste🧘🏽♀️
Thank you so much Charlie. We past the halfway mark. What an amazing feeling. You are appreciated. Have a kind day/evening everyone and welldone to you
Thank you for the practice it was really good. I particularly enjoyed the flow of moving from one posture to the next, and the challenge of the balancing postures.
Finally I made it to my mat!!I definitely felt the extra 5 minutes and the postures were quite a challenge in this class for me!! Thank you for Day 16!!🙏
Thank you Charlie 🙏 as usual I practice at the end of my working day but today I felt too tense to start straight with this class. I repeated yesterday's lesson first (very relaxing) and only then I felt ready for today's. It worked perfectly!
This was my toughest of the sessions so far. Kept falling on the mat because could not balance myself. But wont give up. Will keep trying. Thank you Charlie.
Wow that was a very energising sequence, building nice heat in the body. Loved it. Thank you Charlie. Look forward to being able to building the strength to bring my feet forward with as much strength, grace and ease as you do. 😄❤
Your day is full of positive energy, today I will experience a joyful and beautiful day with your excellent and beautiful stretching movements. Thank you for being with us in this way to be healthy and healthy. Namaste.
Greetings coach, I hope you are healthy and well wherever you are on this earth and spend the best moments with your dear family. Today's training was also great. Thank you.
Ok, so warrior 3 and reverse plank weren’t so pretty, but thank you for throwing some challenging poses in for us! Something to aspire to. I’m still trying to make stepping through from down dog to top of the mat happen. Teeny bit better today.
Skipped yesterday due to illness. Today wanted to give it a try. Can notice I am far from fit as it took me quite some energy staying in position. Hope I feel better tomorrow!
Charlie showed no mercy today. Kicked my butt 😂 it was great 👍 I’m tall 6’3 and finding the balance on one leg with my chest parallel to the floor is very challenging. My leg 🦵 was shaking all over the place 😅 Thank you ❤
Wow, this one was rather challenging for me today (lovely, though, thank you, Charlie😊❤). So if you are a beginner and completed it, you should be really proud of yourself.😊 When I at one point started to feel frustrated with myself for struggling so much while doing beginners practice, I reminded myself that I had to go with doing just the rekaxing yoga or no yoga at all last couple of days, because of nasty migraine, so perhaps this is the famous "use it or lose it".😅 My warrior 3 would be kicked out of any army in the world, but could make good career at circus.😂 On the other hand chataranga went quite well even though I did it really sloowlyy.🎉 Challenging or not challenging, I do feel energized and I am looking forward Day18 practice.🙂
This was also a bit tough for me and also because I had a cold. I was also sweating a lot... but it shouldn't be easy with yoga and I am learning my boddy to adapt and most important listening while I am struggling with the position. Thanks Charlie 🙏😊 🙏
Thanks for the classes, my wife and myself have been following these each morning, definitely compliments and helps our other sports. Is there a video or website where it shows the names of all the moves. Thanks again
I noticed that it is easier to step through in downward dog when you put the other leg first in the middle of the mat as you said. I was used to do warrior 3 from a standing pose and with open wings and find that my chaturanga is not as slow as it should so back onto the knees. Thx 😍🤩😍
Newbie Questions for y’all with more experience: 1. In reverse plank, what do my legs/feet do to support me? Like, they want to externally rotate, or my knees what to bend… 2. How do I improve balance/stability? Even with support (chair, wall, etc) I feel so wobbly 😣 is it a focal point, core, breathing, or strength thing? (Likely a bit of all lol) Anyway, thanks y’all! 🌷
Welcome to day 16 friends I hope that todays class leaves you feeling energised 🙏
Omg I love your teaching looking forward tomorrow Namaste 🥰🥰🥰💡💡💡🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️
I had a tough evening yesterday and after doing your practice today its after shaking off the cob webs and freeing up tension 🙏

I'm really happy for you!
Chaturanga is impossible for many people, including me!😅
Congratulations.👏👏👏 It's the best feeling right when you can do the full Chaturanga. I still find it challenging and love doing it.
Day 16 checking in! I get worried when I see “energizing” in Charlie’s descriptions, because that means I’m getting my butt kicked 😂😂😂
