I'll also be going thru the disadvantages and advantages of being a Barber. There are some people who've quit being a barber and I just don't agree. I love being a Barber because it is a good trade and you learn a lot of skills when becoming a Barber.

do you need to have a good memory to be a barber? i have ahard time memorizing steps more than 5 steps . i got a mild learning disability. i can learn adobe software but step by step kind thing sometimes skips a step since i forgot it

Bro! I actually have my wrist x ray to go over tomorrow at the DR's. I think I may have carpal tunnel. (repetitive movement with the hand that creates pain) So yes over time it MIGHT develop. But for me I edit and cut hair with the same wrist so thats probably why I have this pain.

Yes start cutting hair now, and cut everyone you know. Charge them for it. Don’t do it for free. $10 per cut. And when it comes to school pay close attention to the sanitation chapters

I’m 26 and I have a passion to cut hair but never really did it I’ve been cutting my own hair and friends hair since like 8th grade, my life took a turn and I went into truck driving, but I’ve always had a dream of having a small shop my self I love the feeling of cutting hair, to cut it short just wanted to see the view from another person. Would it be to late to get into the game now?

George yes absolutely if you’re making at least 60k filing your LLC as an S Corp will benefit you alot. You’ll save thousands and be abel to buy a company car with your LLC and wrote your pink slip and maintenance off
I am thinking about being a barber, but i have a broken wrist( i had surgery on it) sometime i have trouble writing an essay because of how uncomfortable or stiff it gets. Do you think this will be an issue if i plan on being a barber??

Do you work it out? I just recently sprained my wrist and now that Im back at work it hurts but man o man I am constantly stretching, flexing and icing it and it feels much better.
