Keep ur station clean. Don’t get fucked up at work. Continue ur education learning color, working different hair textures ect.

This plan is cool and all but don’t end up in a divorce trying to do this guys plan that is almost 100 cuts a week.. Your personal life is also important don’t forget to spend time with your kids and wife this plan is cool if you don’t have any family maybe.

If you feel you live in a area that is holding you back financially, it’s time for you to re think things and make a big move to better you life. If your area is a small town and people don’t see your vision make a move. There is a whole world out there man. I believe the world is yours and mine it ours. Good luck 👍 never hold your self back. I mean there is truth but you have to remember, barbering is competitive and every where, so location is right but we all know travelling to another spot a few miles away for cheaper price ain’t impossible.
Also there is chair rent or percentages that eat away at that cap.
Those hours too yes you can do them but they will impact your body not to mention your free time? If you have kids or other responsibilities it can be a negative factor.
Other than I’m glad I started and the grind is long so be prepared.

Really is a great video....I've been there and done this so I understand completely. The only thing I have to say is he didn't take into consideration over head and also 16 cuts a day with no break is a lot of work. Not to mention 6 days a week. You have no social life because standing all day like that really takes it's toll. Not tryin to be negative just being real. And don't forget when your 20 you can do way more work than when your 40. So as time goes on and you get older your gonna make less money.

How you set up your cutting system and station plays a big roll ( e.g. .5 guard on clipper one, 1 guard on clipper two, 1.5 guard on clipper 3 etc… all with ease of accessibility). Also, You have to be willing to dissect your routine to find where you’re possibly repeating your motions unnecessarily. Getting through the bulk of setting your guidelines/fading and finalize everything at the end of the haircut helps too.

Location is a huge factor and so is co-workers..if your co-workers like to fuck around at work you kinda have to be like that or else shit can get crazy..and that is another factor, you have to have balls in the barber game. You can't retire tho from being a barber.

The only way I’ve encountered this is at meat grinder shops where it’s like 35% commission and you’re working like a slave. Totally working on doing women’s services. Brows. Scalp micro pigmentation I just can’t be on my feet for 15 hours 6 days. It gets to be like slave labor I think eventually you have to work smarter not harder and that’s either work for yourself or do more expensive services.
Cutting every 30 mins 15-20 cuts a day 6 days a week is like slave labor. You have no personal life. No energy for sex. It ruins your life. You have to go home and make sure you pack your lunch before, and are awake by 6-7am the next morning.
There is a cost for life work balance and it’s not this for 100k. The real answer is get extra certifications and add onto your menu.

Not true. There are millions of successful barbers out there. It just didn’t work for you. Don’t discourage others. Next time try harder. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. Your a working person. A worker and that’s fine. But believe in your self next time.

Well I don't think this is bullshitting anybody, the thing is that for this market as for Any market that involves hand skills, hand crafting and so on, you are paid for what you are worth. The guy is very skilled and for him is totally doable to make that kind of money because people are willing to pay for this level of service. But bro he's not saying " yo you can work 2 hours and make 2k $ a day sitting on a chair doing nothing" , 10k a month for an activity like that is totally normal, I bet most of barbers can make more (covid aside of course)

This guy is lieing, kids stay in school. No barber shop on earth is busy enough to make 10k a month. You will not have customers every 30mins , you might be in the shop for 8hrz and only get 3 or 4 clients/walkins on a Tuesday Wednesday if you lucky. keep it real man once these barbers pay rent , if there’s other barbers in the shop that they got to compete with to get clients, and all these TH-cam videos on how to cut hair killed the game for real barbers to make decent money. Str8 facts no barber maybe less then 5 percent will ever see this money this guy talking about. Stay in school get a real career. Don’t send these kids off bro.
