The first 3 minutes of this video convicted me and what I’ve done over the past couple of months. I found a “passive” income that can make me a lot of money with little to no effort as long as I knew what I was doing. It took me coming to a bump in the road (for my passive income) to realize that I’m taking my energy away from my barbering career and putting too much of it into currency trading. Yes it can help me in the long run, but I need to be established in this barbering career before I can add on a 2nd business or passive income. Thank you for this video Chris, my life needed it!
Dios te bendiga bossio! I learned how to cut hair thanks to u! I even built a little barbershop in my basement and im growing little by little! Im working on getting my lisence to become a real barber God Bless u brother
Marcos Arriola everyone has their personal preference at the end of the day me personally I like the taper blade because I like to use the c motion on when I’m cutting and I like how it gives a softer blend .
Hey Kid, That's how old i was when I started, and let me tell you something you have a HUGE advantage to gain a clientele just like I did. You have four years left, so don't miss the opportunity. Follow me on TikTok @lostclipzz
Ay this is sick fr because it’s very common to find barbers how to cut hair but it’s very rarely you see a barber explaining the whole financial side behind it all. Smashing it bro 🙏🏽❤️
I am 14 and really want to be a barber and I saved up and bought all the equipment and clippers and am at the moment only cutting my friends and families hair but want to increase my clientele and get more knowledge like how to do beards and other stuff
I’m convinced people would rather waste time complaining about why they can’t get ahead in life than spending their time doing the work it takes to make it happen!
Dude I can’t tell you how much this video helped me right now it’s the exact message I needed as a barber that likes to pivot into the next best thing. Take what you already have and turn it into gold but vertically . Thank you 🙏
Yo Chris I just wanna thank you for the knowledge and positive messages you put out on a consistent basis! I’m 17 and barely picked up barbering 2 months ago, and I’m glad I did. I really love watching you and yofonzz do yalls thing! Keep it up bro ❤️ 💈
Bro , i have been watching your video just for 9 min and its pure fire for sure , you have so much reason when you talk about realistic balance on the things you do , there is so much content on the internet that promise you to become wealthy just in a few days. The key is the thing you said about commiment and purpose. thanks so much!
Great topic really helped me finally commit to setting up another account where I only put money in basically my bench. Keep it up love this game and also reminds people of how much money you can make if you work and educate urself
I'm here late but I made it! People are interested, especially me. Keep it coming. Headed to ur other channel, hope I didn't miss anything. Thanks bossio
Very nice Chris, well said, great video. A lot of guys need to watch this.....I've worked in shops where barbers had 10k in sneakers in their tiny apartment, still living cut to cut. Must watch
Thank you so much for the knowledge and help you give us, Bossio. I started cutting hair 2 years ago because of you and do I enjoy it. You’re my role model, bro. Keep up the amazing work because everything you do is appreciated. 👍
I recently went S.Corp/DBA for opening my first barbershop...I plan on running a few none profit programs under my business name...I really appreciate you for making this video
@chrisbossio i just have to comment on how you are one of the if not the best barbers on youtube. Not just amazing cuts but informative vids across all aspects of barbering. I love how you are always looking to grow your skills in any way shape or form sending love from aus ! xx
How about opening a hybrid barber/hairstylist shop, after getting your licence for both, in order to cater to a wider market? Shops usually can't do both so it seems logical to merge the two for it to be innovative enough to catch on. The goal is to own multiple hybrid shops, starting by cutting in my own shop (skipping the part where I work for someone else) and renting out chairs.
Very very informative content Chris! Bro the inspiration you are to many is second to none and you may not even really know how how far your reach is. God bless you and your family.
What’s up Chris. Great content. I wanted to ask... hopefully you don’t mind. During the quarantine these past months, how did you handle rent/birth rent with your barbers? Did u have them pay full/half or did u pay yourself while the shop was closed. Thanks for reading this.
I really appreciate it man you really out here dropping gems. I’m student barber I strive to be like you in the future. Thanks bossio for the inspiration, much luv from Cali 🤟🏽🔥
Yeah man, I already watched all the videos on the other channel, I'm hoping that you'll upload more there and do dome live streams again cuz they're so fun but also educational and an excuse for me watching TH-cam lol cuz of my parents but anyway man love you bro, keep coming with the content and hopefully I'll meet u and all the other barbers like Beam, Fonz, Seancutshair, Loko, Perez, Jeezy, there's just so many of you guys who are so great man, but man u gotta post on that other channel
bro so now i fw you more cause you said forex. ive been into that for abt 6 months now, barbering was always a career i wanted to get into, i started off cutting my own hair for a year, an i know got the confidence to get my personal equipment and start my barber career. Been focus and staying in your lane is key During the 2020 pandemic man I had a client who was a drug dealer and I just got two clothes you know they invited me to go show with them party with them and by next thing you know I thought I was Pablo Escobar you know I'm saying like it almost cost me my life my mental health my freedomthis time Focus stay drug free alcohol free and just do your homework you know look at videos get as much practice as you can much love
I am very glad that I came across your show I wanted to be a barber and even though I just graduated and it’s hard getting to my field I figure I start with something I had a talent for, it’s just knowing the right steps.
Hey man, I started following you in 2021, since then I did not lose any videos. I´m learning English to speaking you in the near future, I hope that I have one opportunity to talk with u and show u Brasil Barbershop!!
This video is much appreciated and way to slept on! I’ve been cutting hair as a side hustle for a couple years and now considering getting licensed. Your business/finance videos are a huge motivation and blessing. So thank you! Ps. rich dad poor dad is one of the best books I’ve read
How about we just all stand together. Have everything in order. Work efficiently and ask for a raise. So many "regular barbers are being underpaid due to owners of barbershops strong arming us. Some people value inexpensive cheap eats, some value expensive high quality... you can 100% tell the difference in haircut quality. You don’t believe all open heart surgeries are the same quality either do you?
Chris Bossio I understand some people don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for a steak, But there are people that don’t want to pay a high price for a simple hair cut. Especially barbers that are charging more per hour than these professions risking their lives. Doesn’t make sense. There are professions that take years to get certified or get a degree and don’t make as much money as these barbers. Chris Bossio OH! And another thing. Thank god for you tube and people like you. I learned how to give my self a simple haircut and don’t have to pay $40-$60. I don’t think you can learn surgery through you tube?
That’s why surgeons are millionaires lol your argument is wild to me. Most barbers charge $20 because most people don’t want to spend $100 on a cut.. I would never want to cut my own hair because of the opportunity cost of learning to cut your own hair and then cutting it just isn’t worth it. Just like I don’t cut my own grass or clean my own pool. Some people will clip coupons and some will make more money🤷🏽♂️ neither are wrong but to knock one is pointless and doesn’t put my bills ... why would I sacrifice my time I value to cut for $20 when people who appreciate my dedication to my craft providing a higher quality services will pay me more.. I’m sure you like raises but get mad when an employer says why would I pay you that when I can just higher a college graduate to do the same for less. In this case most employees will take their talents to a different company that will appreciate their value. Glad you found the channel useful and it has helped you save some money. I think there is a lane for everyone and everyone can be happy.
Chris Bossio Ok, I understand. Surgeons and barbers is a bad comparison. Doesn’t come close in any way, shape or form. Let’s compare them to other careers or professions and the money they make. My argument is that barbers are charging a very high price for something that you can do your self if you fee like the price isn’t worth it. Just like you mentioned cutting grass or cleaning the pool. You can hire someone to do it for you , or you can do it yourself. But you can’t seem to tell me that a barber is charging more per hour than a police officer, firemen, or nurse? They risk their life every day! Does that make sense? Isn’t that wild! You mean to tell me that in 30 years, a simple haircut is going to be $100+! For all ya barbers out there. Learn how to work with every type of hair and BOOM you gono make Mula. No type of hair is getting away from you.

Wicked video fam 🔥
How about we just all stand together. Have everything in order. Work efficiently and ask for a raise. So many "regular barbers are being underpaid due to owners of barbershops strong arming us. This video is great but for the average normal barber many times the difference between growing steadily and over working only to remain stagnant is 5 to 10 percent....
But many barbers never get a raise because we are too nieve/not using collective leverage. Most barbers think about themselves and never speak as 1.
Boss how can I get a zoom with you? I have a specific question on fading and need your help.
