    Whenever I see you do a video like this ... I always come away wondering ... How many folks realize and appreciate that the time it takes you to capture all that on video that you probably could have completed the task twice. :)

      You got it, and I appreciate the comment. What takes longer than that is Heidi editing it. Thanks!

    Nice installation on the wall heater I like that it's small. Very helpful and very good tips to not destroy something or get electrocuted. Safety is priority! Thanks Mr Rain, God is good all the time!

    We plan to install floor heating when we remodel the bathroom. I wish I had the resources to do it for the rest of the house when we installed the wood flooring.

      We love our floor heat in the bathroom! Though last winter was so mild, we didn't even use it 😁

    Wow Patrick. 2 vids in 1 week ? Heidi is rubbing off on you. Lol
    Yes. That wire clamp & bushing prevent the wire protective coating from being cut through & putting your HOT wires on the metal box & making that whole heater a shock & fire hazard. You explained how to use it very well.
    Your explanations always are good enough to teach a class on what you're doing. Like shop class. Lol. The exam is always finding out if folks listened well enough to the instructions. Thank you for anyone wanting/needing to learn these things without anyone to teach them.

      I appreciate the comments Edie. I actually have quite a few projects in raw video form Heidi has stored. She just has to find the time to get to them. She will eventually. Thanks for the interest!

    Hi heidi can i dehydrate frozen fruit in cans, and frozen vegetables to keep for long term storage using my brake bleeder?

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your questions are confusing, frozen fruit in cans?

    • @christinepeters7110
      @christinepeters7110 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      sorry heidi i meant frozen fruit in cans, and frozen fruit in the freezer bags.

    • @christinepeters7110
      @christinepeters7110 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      i meant canned fruit in cans

    • @christinepeters7110
      @christinepeters7110 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      and frozen fruit in the freezer department

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let me put it this way...you can dehydrate up any fruit, bean, grain, vegetable or meat. Does not matter if it was previously frozen, canned, or fresh, cooked or raw. Any thing you can dehydrate fully, you can vacuum seal with the brake bleeder

    Does this connect to the grid or the solar power? Thanks.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is just a back up heater running on public power. If we ever sell this place and move, our solar panels are going with us so it is necessary to have proper heaters installed. We have yet to use this and it has been in for some time now.

    • @MrRain-hk4zi
      @MrRain-hk4zi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Grid only. Our solar is independent of the grid.

    Your electric hook up was wrong you use the connector the wrong way.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What I can say is that it has been several years and it works without issue. My husband has been doing such things for most of his life. You likely saw something wrong or assumed it was wrong.
