Thanks! Not all heaters are available to buy and replace just the inside. I May need to replace the housing, can... ugh. Hate sheetrock patches! You don't need to choose which wire goes to the heater lead with 240V by the way. Just be sure the bare/green isn't one of them, it goes to ground the housing can.

The one with the issue keeps turning off so I reset it and it works for so long then turns off again.. we did vacuum it sort of superficially w/o shutting the power off. Will shut power off to blow the dust out.. I'm thinking it could be really dirty inside.. Otherwise we'll have to get a new unit..
Haha...im such an idiot. The way that the instructions manual read on the manual it makes it sound like its set up for both voltages! Its all good tho i turned it off before it toasted the element and voided my warranty. Thanks tho!!

Not on the 240 v version it does not matter. It would if it was being hooked up to 120 v.
