    Just watching you other video on tires and foams after watching this. You’re in SoCal right? I’m in NorCal next to the Rubicon and will be crawling from Folsom to home in Georgetown. Should be similar rocks with a mix of smooth to rough depending on the area if I’m closer or further from water. With sand/loose dirt and a lot of fine red clay. Which of those Voodoos would be a better starting point with a comp gspeed/element rig in a 32° to 95° temp range? And would you recommend starting with some halos or trying the 3BRC anti’s? Want to order 2 tires to start and would either just order them and the anti’s or weigh the entire rig once done and order foams. Just don’t know which way to start. Used to all the go fast stuff so a lot to learn there. Thanks for all the videos!

      I’m actually in Kansas. But that temp range gold/red would work, the height temps like 80+ I do find myself using golds more. And foams either again will work, the halos are a proven foam and the antis are on their way there for sure in my opinion

      @@TRDAdventures don't know why i thought you were in SoCal. Must be another channel I'm thinking of. We have mainly Serpentine, Halite and Sandstone rock. So a mix of very smooth to very rough. Which two wheels would you buy to start with if that was all you had to go by? Local RC group is mainly RTR's so I'm one of the first in the group that has a scratch built purpose rig and so far none have competed either so they're running mostly rtr wheel and tire combos changing for looks over performance so not a great local resource. They got my foot in the door, why I've been watching so many video's!

      @@TRDAdventures For them red compounds would you recommend some OG, KLR or what to start. Our budget build we already started will be running some Hunks or Tusk, can't remember which i ordered for the class 2 legal. Will order two to try them both on the Gspeed build. Also, would you go anti foam or halo for a class 2 comp Gspeed build?

    • @TRDAdventures
      @TRDAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@andrewdecavia7553 any og KLR if you can get your hands on some. They are hard to find right now. And foams I’d definitely try and get and idea on your overall weigh. And go from there either halos or anti foam will be great options.

    Curiosities killing me I would like to do a Ford motor mount on the three chassis I haven’t seen you do one is there a reason or just haven’t tried it yet

    • @TRDAdventures
      @TRDAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have one in my class 1. In my class 2 I already have the TGH T210 trans which put the motor forward and gives me transfer case point already. And in my class 3 I and currently using dig so I have a vanquish 3gear in it. If I wasn’t running dig I lot would have a tcase in it.

    Hi. I have a set of Voodoo klr x4. What foams do you recommend for a 6 pound rig. Thanks

    • @TRDAdventures
      @TRDAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The x4 is a more narrow tire so either custom foams or the voodo halo foams for the x4

    How much break in are you having to do to get the tires to where you really feel like that stay working. I've never had a set of voodoo's and would like to try them but don't have hours to get them ready before winter comp season right now

    • @TRDAdventures
      @TRDAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have pulled them right out of the bag and comped. But I just have always put them in one of my heavier rigs and drove on them a weekend or 2.

    I notice you don’t have a crazy amount of flex. Not even a tire size of flex. It’s the opposite of what I see on IG. How much flex do you usually like to stick too? I have always heard no more than a tire height.

    • @TRDAdventures
      @TRDAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup not much here in this one. For my comp rigs yea I stick to that rule about a tire height. Flex has is place but too much can hurt.

      The previous klr 4.19 were distinguished from the Injora klr based on the seam location being in the middle or offset. This makes things worse in identifying tires by maker
