I pulled my klr-m out of storage and put them on my heaviest rig. The hyrax did ok. But the klr-m, whew, what a difference. Sometimes they get so much traction, I’m trying to break that traction. I run in mostly rocks and dirt/mud in several run offs. I have 3BRC dual stage anti-foams. They are stiffer than the Pro-line tires I usually run.
I love those things. I have a set that I first ran on my RC4WD TF2 LC70 and then switched them over to an 18th scale Temper Gen 2 that's been modded to be a little more comp-like. They're crazy in cold weather, too. Zero change in traction and they work on all kinds of rock. I wish they'd come back out with a whole set of stuff for 2.2 again. Lots of guys rave about them.
I wish they’d make their wheels in a 2.2 for starters.
What direction are you running your tread?
@@41sniper Reversed. Cut foams with some air space in there and riding on vented rims.
@@VermontScaleCustoms thank you!
Good ol dawn dish soap cleans the tires right up.
I gotta get some!
Ruptures are freaking amazing. These I have to compare to em….could barely get ruptures outta the packaging lol
There’s few things I like that sticky.
🍻
ducks!
Now only if the owner wasn't a douche.
Great tires...unfortunately very expensive here in Europe😎
Skinny🤔Sticky yae🎉....
So many things I want to mention in this one, but it's probably left for private conversation. lol
East TN everything is slick usually mud or dirt. Only tire brands I haven't tried yet voodoo, jconcepts and duratrax. So far the pit bulls and cut up stock traxxas tires rule.
Pitbull??? Really ??😂
@themountain59 What kind of terrain you run on. If it's not wet muddy it's dry and slick here. Hard find traction.
Pitbulls clean out well in missouri mud too. Definitely better than voodoos when it's not just clean rock
Are they directional?
With the curved side ribs, are they directional? Also do they provide more pleasure?
the ribs are curved forward with tread pattern and slightly overlap, would just feel like more girth with speed lol
I have used KLR X4.
It was a RED compound and did not grip at all on the rocks I frequent. (Proline Predator and Jconcepts green are the rocks that grip well).
Is the KLR V2 you are referring to RED or gold?
The x4 is really more of a mud tire imo. Lug spacing is too wide to grip rocks well. Dunno what compound this is.
Why do I get no throttle out of my ESC? I reprogrammed the throttle linked blink says it's connected but I get no throttle.i was just using the car a few minutes ago.? I've had this problem before and can't remember how I fixed it! Copperhead ESC 2500kv Holmes motor! What am I doing wrong again?
They may not be any taller once you get them stuffed with foams, mounted and the weight of the vehicle put on them.... Wouldn't they possibly even widen back out a little bit 🤔
Performance has always been solid with these but lets not overlook the reason for a v2 in the first place.... Over/Under on how long before they get injora'd due to ottman being ottman
If the copycat v1 mold isn't already worn out, maybe they would make a copy v2 that's narrower as well? Who knows, buy the lower cost copy and it's gonna be lower quality rubber
@@HolmesHobbies if he fails to work with the manufacturer then they will use the mold with lower quality compounds like last time. The original vs injora was clearly a different compound. I had both and the legit was definitely a better tire.
hello friend.
If you read my email, please reply.
I sent three emails and you checked, but I haven't received a reply yet.
So I send it again.
Please tell me if there is any problem with my esc. I need to forward this information to the seller in Korea.
In my car, when I raise the throttle trim just a little bit, it doesn't limit the speed when going downhill and accelerates.
However, in someone else's br-xl, it is a factory setting and does not accelerate downhill.
Very sticky. If they last they should be great.
You cant tell if a tire is good until its scrubbed in. The stickiness of a brand new tire out of the package isn't what you should be judging it by.
what should I be looking for?
@@HolmesHobbies how it performs on a rig ???
