I am actually considering the nAT's, but I am limited as they will more than likely to be had only LT's and will not be towing or hauling. Keep in mind that standard load tires do not have the tread depth that a LT has in most cases also. I do not rock crawl, but can be found on forestry roads during winter in a foot or more snow whenever possible. I can attest that the General Grabber AT2's are far noisier than my highway "AT's" as I drive the same make/model on two vehicles. Please note the AT2's are now basically updated to the ATX designation, just as the BFG designations have changed as improvements have been made to them as well. Trade off was on the GG's had one less sidewall as well as a bit lighter than the BFG's at the time of acquisition/install for nearly the same price. I also recommend that if anyone plans on keeping a vehicle that installing decoupler and insulation makes for a great quality of life improvement, as well as a dash camera system.

Was the comparison between SL with aramid vs E load? A little confused on the variables here

Could you explain tire load ratings? To say 10 ply means what? I believe you're referring to "E" load range capable of 80 psi. I understand that at say 36 psi the "E" load range has a lower load capacity than a Passenger tire of the same size. My comparison was on size 275/65 x 18 on my Z71 Tahoe. My Michelin Ice SNOW SUV Load116 T speed.

Do not use a P/Standard load tire if you plan on doing any towing, which is also why trailer tires are also different. It is about weight and work to be done.

were the Nokians the same size as the OEM tires in vid? Just wondering if they run small since they were shorter in the vid.

No. The Nokians in the vid were 245/70r17. OEM is 265/70r17.

How do the Nokians perform in the rain on wet pavement?

Depends on which series you need for your vehicle as each had different characteristics for your case use.
