What if Yoda had killed Darth Sidious in Revenge of the Sith? What if the reign of the emperor ended pre-maturely just a few hours after the formation of the Galactic Empire? If Yoda was strong enough to defeat Palpatine this would drastically alter the Star Wars timeline.
For this What if story we’re going to explore a timeline that I believe would be plausible and realistic - yet with some unique dynamics, that take the timeline into an interesting route.
This will be of many possibilities that could result of this scenario. As with all What if stories there is no definitive answer, as it depends on the writer and the story they want to tell. I will be mixing elements from both the Expanded Universe and the Disney Canon. This story will blend in a variety of different What if’s into one story.

I don't know what it is but the idea of Palpatine dying before he could enjoy the spoils of his Empire is just so satisfying.
Anakin: Tries to kill Padme and Obi Wan.
Padme: How could Obi Wan do this?
I know right. When she said that I was like "he not the victim in this". Did she not remember what Obi-Wan said about whay he did to the Younglings. Dose she think he won't be put trial for what he done.
Please it clearly was Obi-wan fault. If only he allowed himself to get skewered by Anakin/Vader. 😂 Nah just kidding. Obi-wan did no wrong in my mind.
Ikr like if I was in padme place after obi-wan telling me what anikin has done, I would’ve done the same thing obi-wan did
I still feel bad that the younglings got killed by the one person they saw as a fellow Jedi and master
@@Smith10 Obi-Wan could've convinced Anakin he wasn't there to fight by simply throwing his lightsaber off to the side. Obi-Wan breaking one of the major rules he taught Anakin would be enough to get Anakin to calm down at least enough to hear him out.

I feel bad for Obi-Wan he has truly lost everything and now he has been blamed for it all I hope reconciliation happens next episode
Yeah quite of unfair because it wasn't Obi-Wan's fault he was manipulated like everyone else by palpatine and palpatine was responsible for anakin turned since he orchestrated everything
And plus obiwan did saved anakin instead of killing him or leaving him so while should be angry with him she should have also be grateful towards him because he did save anakin otherwise how she react if he just left him on mustafar
So do I, that image in 13:08 is so depressing, he really lost what he had and felt incredibly guilty. I understand Padme's reaction a bit but she could a bit grateful because Obi-Wan actually saved him and didn't leave Anakin to die

Sometimes I grow tired of how long it takes for you to release new "what ifs" but then I realize that you must take time for quality pieces like this. I don't think I have seen a single story of yours that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed and I think thats because you take care of what you produce. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, its fine for him to take time on quality pieces. But really he should write a story complete, then break it into parts if he wants. That way guarantee the parts 2s will show up. I used to do fanfic, and I realized if I didn't, there was a good chance I'd never finish it. That's why you want to complete it before starting to put it out there.
I legit believe if Yoda killed Palpatine both Anakin and Obi-Wan would've felt it. Anakin would've know he'd lost the "secret to save Padme" and Obi-Wan would've realized Anakin was back to teetering on the Dark side instead of fully embracing it. I think at that point Obi-Wan would've tried to talk Anakin into relaxing and saying there's still time to save Padme. I don't think Anakin would've burned in this timeline.
Anakin was enraged and blinded. Fully focused on Obi-Wan. He wouldn’t have felt it.

That's a cool idea, and it does make sense, but we didn't think of it when writing.

So far, this is looking good. It was sad to see Padme angry at Obi-Wan. I hope she can forgive him someday. Hopefully, Ahsoka doesn't have the same reaction when she finds out after Obi-Wan finds her.
With Palpatine dead and Vader appearing less hateful, it seems Maul will be taking the role of top sith in this story. Maybe even a bigger threat than the empire without Palpatine.
Yeah I agree it's really sad to see padme is angry with obiwan and not forgiving him. But she should have been grateful because obiwan did saved anakin by not killing him or leaving him
And in my opinion padme shouldn't be angry with obiwan and not forgiving and blaming it should be the other way around padme should be angry with anakin because he was way worse than obiwan I mean come on padme, the thousands of jedi younglings and children he killed and he almost killed padme, husband or not that doesn't justify what he did besides padme should have been grateful and forgiving to obiwan because he did saved anakin despite everything

@Justin Hammer Porkins was blown up. Maul wasn't, the darkside of the force barely kept him alive and he was only saved in the end because nightsister magick
Definitely a unique Storyshift in this particular outcome that would have actually happened if the one instance where yoda would have won it gets palpatine and with this shift. We're definitely have a huge ripple effect early on with the early rebellion and the new plans for Darth Maul, The Skywalkers, and the Imperial Leaders.
Another great Fan Fiction as always.
Only thing I have a problem with is Padme forgiving Anakin so soon. She loved him and recognized there was still good in him, but a few hours after him trying to kill her seems too soon.
Disagree, even on her death bed she was voicing her belief that there's still good in him. She understands he was corrupted by the dark side, and she didn't really "forgive him" at all. They haven't had that conversation yet.

I agree she angry at obiwan but was sad and forgiving to anakin despite the fact anakin did far much worse than obiwan like had recently forgotten the thousands of jedi padawns and younglings he killed and he choked her now that was messed up and selfish even if he was he husband also if anything padme should be grateful that while what obiwan did to anakin on mustafar he did save anakin by bringing anakin with him and saved him otherwise if he just stab anakin or left him in the original how and she still lived how would she react
@@StarWarsElseworlds It makes sense with the stress of everything happening so quickly on top of the years of war and pregnancy. But it still rankles to see Padme who is now a mother persecutes Obi-Wan for stopping a child killer and his traitor for a brother who ailed himself with the same mastermind that caused Qui-Gon's and Satine's death through Maul. Vader did exactly what Dooku did and spat on his master's grave who freed him no less.
@@jeremycool1731 Plus Obi-Wan would've felt all that death in the force which would do no wonders to his mental state. As Vader becomes Dooku as he sides with the person responsible for Qui-Gon's death, leads an army against the Jedi and then proceeds to try and kill Obi-Wan.

Wow. So far this has been an extremely well written part 1. Really like how elements from the deleted scenes such as the senators who started the rebellion were worked into the story. Gotta say the art work and voice acting was amazing. Can't wait for part 2
You always have some natural ability in writing that brings me to sadness and tears. The padme part of the Anakin bacta tank made me all emotional lol

This was a really great and sad what if story! The voice acting was awesome! The Obi-wan and Padme conversation was pretty intense. I'm really looking forward to the next chapters! Great job!

This was really good, the VA's did pretty well definitely looking forward for part 2
I deeply enjoy the direction of your stories and how smoothly the story moves from point A to point B to point C and so forth!
And the quality is nothing to scoff at, by far one my/if not my FAVORITE Star Wars channel to date!
I think maul would have taken advantage of this disturbance in the force and become the sith grand Master and probably take the grand inquisitor as his apprentice. I think it ends somehow with ahsoka and Obi-Wan and Yoda utterly destroying them both somehow.
Edit: I mean they have the means to do so and with the help of the bad batch and the remaining jedi that aren't being hunted. Heck they could probably make all other clones chips in their head malfunction like in phantom menace and no other storm troopers would have been created.
I must admit these what if stories are another reason on why my love of star wars continues
Great story and reference to canon materials as reasoning for certain plot choices, but I am really pleased with the voice actors.

When is part 2 coming?!?! I love the addition of the drawings to tell this story. It made everything so real, especially seeing Anakin in the Bacta tank under much different circumstances. Great job! Here’s an idea for a video: What if Anakin told Obi Wan about his nightmares before going to Yoda
I think Yoda was truly strongest force Wilder in the Galaxy, this is because the Jedi power where lesson before the war. Which means yodo fight sidious in his lesson power and equal him🎉

I mean theoretically he could, but the fact he was still taking order from palpatine, as they are master and apprentice. So without him, he wouldn’t be able to conquer the empire

Hello there Elseworld's it's been awhile since I visited your channel and over the time your videos have continued to get better and better in fact I never thought of Yoda defeating Sidious as often as I did of Yoda defeating Dooku in Attack of the Clones which I believe could have ended the Clone Wars before it began
But this storyline has seemed intriguing what I liked about it was Obi-Wan saving Anakin from dying on Mustafar especially for Padme's sake the drawing aminations are amazing too. Something new?
What I like most about this was Anakin and Padme's reunion and meeting his new born children Luke and Leia I always like a fan fiction with Anakin and Padme raising their own children in fact I wrote my own on Wattpad if you're interested in reading them I'll be more than happy to share the link even those I wrote after but for now congratulations on this story and good luck with Part 2 and any other parts you make after

Obi wan Kenobi had to do something most would not have the strength to do it and because of that Obi wan punished himself with guilt and regret and he had to hide and that must have been difficult and lonely this is a cool story thanks can't wait to see part 2

Clearly Grogu leads the Mandalorians on a bloody crusade across the universe. As Coruscant burned the small green, and still adorable, Mandalorian said "This is the way." Until he and his forces were later defeated by Ewoks who are, as is it known, too fury to die.

In the movie Obi Wan already implies that Anakin is dead and Padme doesn't say anything, that's why she dies, she just accepts it and says there was good in him (thinking he is dead)

If this was like, the actual movie (lets just say the saga of star wars movies actually started in chronological order instead of appearing in the 4th one already and then later we see the past) maybe as an idea for a name i would call this one i dunno: star wars episode III The fall of darkness. or something, im not sure, but anyways, you write stories pretty well buddy, you could really get a pretty penny if they hired you to write movies, you are cool 😀👍
Umm Anakin Killed children and many innocent Jedi padme saw this in the holo recording what’s he supposed to do let himself get killed.
She didn't see the holo recording herself, she only had Obi-Wan's word for it. And yeah, once they were fighting the only way to stop Vader was maiming him like that, but remember, Obi-Wan started that fight. Both by appearing and (after she passed out) drawing his blade.
Padmé thinks Obi-Wan should have stayed out of it entirely and let her handle it. To be clear, that wouldn't have worked, and she owes her life to Obi-Wan, but she has no way of knowing that for sure. Everyone had the best intentions but things still turned out shit. That's tragedy.

Asking the really important questions
Have Maul take over the empire.
For some reason if anakin were to duel with maul in the final battle.
Have Maul, threaten to take one of anakin's child as his apprentice.
Why would Maul take over the empire? He was a publicly enemy of them and would be killed upon stepping foot on coruscant

So like… does Padme actually think Anakin doesn’t deserve AT LEAST PRISON?! This mf murdered countless children and Jedi personally, and causing the death of countless thousands of Jedi across the galaxy, not to mention being instrumental in the coup that gives rise to the empire. ANYONE else would be in the most maximum security prison if not dead from the death penalty. I don’t care if Anakin “only got mad” when obi showed up, a reasonable and non insane human would not have freaked out and started beating his chest like Ani did. I’m sorry but Padme is in the wrong here not Obi (DO NOT mistake me for disliking this theory or your writing, I ONLY rant about good materiel, I think your take on this is spot on which is why Padmes opinion is making me salty 😂😂😂)
Padmé totally has a problem with Anakin, she just thinks Obi-Wan handled it in a bad way.
