Palpatine and Anakin getting chased by Mace and Maul on speeders with Palpatine shooting blasts of lightning back at them sounds like a Lego Star Wars vehicle mission. It'd be interesting to see too, since it's lightning instead of blaster bolts.
It'll be like That Mission in Lego Star Wars 1 and Complete Saga Where you have to chase Zam with a speeder.

@@StarWarsElseworlds The only issue I have with that bit is that it's not super clear how he knows of the exact order to use. I think it would have made more sense for Maul to have looked through the Chancellors computer or whatever, find the list of inhibitor chip orders and find Order 66 and 65 there.

I feel Padme would advocate for Anakins release. Anakin doesn’t actually do any wrong here except go against an order. I can see Padme using this knowledge and the fact that Anakin is technically right and was only trying to protect the as of then rightful chancellor to convince the senate to release Anakin.

I've been waiting for a long time, and it fucking delivered.
It was certainly less predictable, which I do appreciate, as there were opportunities for you to have Maul turn or Anakin team up with Maul or have Maul give in and kill Palpatine.
Your subversion there, with Venza killing Palpatine and Maul not giving in and Anakin still solid in his alliance with Palpatine, is great and thought out as usual.
I certainly love the conclusion to this story, which is a man's torture truly ending with his tormentor finally perishing and having to live with his horrible experiences to eventually achieve a sort of peace.

I feel so bad for Anakin, Mace really is such a horrible influence on Anakin. I feel Mace's beration basically was the nail in the coffin for Anakin turning back to the light, Mace's arrogance. I feel if it was say, Obi Wan who was at the office, he could've talked to Anakin and convinced him to stop before it was too late. But now? Anakin would likely feel betrayed by everyone he knew, by Sidious (for lying to him for so long), the Council (for never trusting him despite all his good deeds), and even possibly Padme (if she is allowed to view the footage and potentially sides with the council)
Where would a man like that even go from there? He's been called and treated as a monster, for only doing what he believed to be the right thing. He was the hero of the Clone Wars, and yet he was treated as badly as Bariss Offee! I feel if this What If somehow continued, Mace Windu would be personally responsible for turning Anakin Skywalker into the monster Mace always thought he was. (aka "If you want me to be evil so badly, then I'll be evil")

I agree I feel mace was always too harsh on anakin honestly I feel he was just jealous of skywalker because his potential in the force was greater then his and before anakin came along he was known as the 2nd strongest jedi in the jedi order.

I really like "What If" scenarios, this honestly could've taken over the main movies (considering many people complained the prequels were crap apparently)
it did kinda drag on when Maul was contemplating on whether or not to take out Sidious, but in conclusion is was a good video nonetheless
I don’t see it as dragging on, it was just long exposition explaining his inner thoughts in those 10-30 seconds which seemed long but was just a long explanation of a condensed moment. Thanks for the feedback regardless 👍

I must say, there is one little touch you added at the end of this What If that I really enjoyed. The fact that Maul senses something wrong about events that happened afterwards, the question about if Anakin was the chosen one or not, and why the Force doesn't feel in balance even though the Sith are gone. That right there is something I have never seen in a what if that included tampering with Palpatine or the Sith in general being defeated by someone other than Anakin. Usually the other what if's don't mention the balance and the chosen one's destiny. But having Maul question it, just makes this What If here so unique and refreshing to me. Props to you Elseworld. 🥂

Finally, Maul (my favorite) finally gets respect--he's brilliant (in Clone Wars he figures out Sidious' plan in the Clone Wars), has a sense of humor (also in the Clone wars, the way he talks to Ahsoka and Boca Tan, and in Rebels, how he tells Ezra "call me 'old master'"), and a superb warrior. With all the other 'what if' videos fawning over Anakin/Vader, this is a refreshing take on Maul's impact and talents. Plus, the voices are SUPERB!

This channel definitely needs more love, the what ifs alone are top notch. I also really, really like how you mentioned order 65 in this story alongside Anakin and maul fighting and a more experienced maul using vaapad was epic 💪

Well it makes sense for Maul to use Vaapad in this Timeline and is also why Mace decided to train him. Both Jedi have a similar background of being majorly exposed by the Dark Side of the Force early in their lives (Mace by the fact of his Homeworld (Harun Kal) being so tuned to the Dark Side of the Force; and Maul because of his Torture by Sidious as well as his exposure to the Nightsisters' Magic (which is tuned by the Dark Side of the Force as well ddespite not being as strong) and yet they manage to retain a powerful resolve whithin their hearts which allowed them remain in the Light
Vaapad is a Lightsaber Combat Style which involves using the Dark Side of the Force whithin a Jedi's innner being to deflect the Dark Side of the Force of the opponent back at it's source
The other Jedi that could use Vaapad without sucumbing to the Dark Side (either because they manage to return to the Light (as when that happens it would be difficult to be converted back by the Dark Side as they finally embraced the Light) or trained themselves not to give up to the Dark Side and instead trained themselves to use it as a Weapon of the Light) are Ulic-Qel-Dorma (if he was never stripped of the Force when he manage to return to the Light by his Brother's death in the Krath War), Revan, Anakin Skywalker (if he managed to survive Endor), Luke Skywalker (as shown in Legends), Kyle Katarn, Jaden Korr and Cade Skywalker (in the Star Wars Legacy Comics)

I gotta say out of the three maul stories, this one is my personal favorite. The first one, while a good starter didn’t really hook me into the story, the second one was ok tho I wasn’t a fan of the savage parts, but this one hit all the right notes so good job. I can’t wait to see Jedi general grievous and hey, maybe for another what if, it can be about what if grievous survived EP 3, where near the end of the fight between him and Kenobi, instead of him trying to get the kill, his cowardly side would kick in and he would hop into the soulless one, escaping Utapau. Most stories that relate to this either involve grievous killing Kenobi, which brings either Anakins or the empires wrath, or has them team up, so I’m kinda interested to see what you would do if you had the chance to choose what happens

Absolutely incredible, one of the best SW What-ifs I've seen. Great dialogue and stellar voicing as well. I wish it was an official storyline, because I really like this version of Maul, as a Maul fan. This could easily be one of the alternate timeline stories that have happened in Star Wars comics...
The only thing I disagree on is Anakin's fate. I believe that in the Jedi Order's trial, you were correct in writing that he would be exiled, but as for his trial in the Republic's military court, I believe that he would go free. Especially if Tarkin, or someone like him was the prosecutor. This is because the government and military leadership were already skeptical of the Jedi's involvement in Galactic affiars, and they had lost much sympathy in the eyes of the public. An extralegal execution of the head of state would be something that nobody would be comfortable with, and Skywalker - the definitive Jedi war hero of the Clone Wars - was the only one who insisted that Palpatine get a trail, and could be seen as just doing his duty and following the rule of law. I think in a trial, this argument would gain him enough favor in order to go free, and although he would no longer be a Jedi, he would finally be able to have what he was already willing to turn his back on the Jedi in order to obtain. I believe that this would be a more fair outcome for him.
I also think that he and Maul would be closer, as they were both friends with Palpatine, they were both somewhat outcasted and outspoken among the Jedi, they both had masters who they clashed with at times, they both struggled with the dark side, and were both snubbed by the council on more than one occasion. I see this maul as a reflection of Anakin - as what he could have been, had he endured. One is a faliure and an exile, the other a hero and a Master on the Council, as well as a master of his own destiny.

Ohhhh I just Loved How Maul Executed Something Palpatine wasnt Aware off, Execute Order 65!
Nice job on this ending there are a ton of interesting story elements you made like a clone commander of all things executing palpatine as not just a beautiful but of irony but also incredibly satisfying something so incredible about a man as powerful as palpatine being ended with something as uncivilized as a blasterbolt.
Also enjoy the ambiguous nature of the ending it's feels like it could potentially lead to something much bigger mabye that will be a thing great story and it's good to see it's finally come to somewhat of an end.
That means a lot, thank you so much! I really like the idea of Venza pulling the trigger, it seems poetic and satisfying.

This was an intense "what if". Great job. I did think, for a moment, that you were going to take it in a different direction in a few places. Where Maul has that internal conflict in him before he was about to kill Palpatine when he had his hands raised near the end. I thought he was going to decide at the last moment to cut off his hands and tell Mace, "I can't kill him. Not like this. I can not kill someone with hate as my motivation anymore, and I have so much for this man."
Nice done, happy to know Maul got a happy ending in away and can life in piece. Now I very excited to see Grievous tale next. What will the Cyborg Jedi do in the time of the Empire? He could always find old Battle Droids units and use them most MangaGuards to help him. Still Grievous vs Vader is a exciting match up I looking forward too.
Indeed. Grievous' biggest weakness in the main continuity is his lack of a force connection. Given that in this continuity he does, this should level the playing field, especially if he kills all of Vader's men first.

Just re-watching this trilogy in August 2024. It is a masterpiece, and far better than what we're getting now from Disney. Way more depth and realism, regardless of the low budget. This is real storytelling. Possibly my favourite fan tale ever.

Wow that was an awesome storyline. The story of Maul was amazing and the final chapter was well worth the wait! 10/10! 5 stars! If it was a movie I was it gets all of the awards for Grammy on best soundtrack, golden globe, and oscars!

Well, here’s the thing. During the Clone Wars, you actually figure out in one of the episodes that the Night Sisters use their magic once they found a good apprentice for Count Dooku, and they turn him to the dark side of the force, and give him force abilities. I feel that this was not just the one time, since you then hear Mother Talisman (or talisan, idk XD) asking Dooku about Maul, but never mentioned his name. So, I put out my theory for
how Maul was never trained as a Jedi before he became a sith, and that the Night Sisters brainwash a chosen Night Brother to become a Sith. (Again, I fully support this video’s theory, I just think this one makes more sense)
At last we will have our Revenge.

This is where the fun begins
Knowing Palpatine in legends and all the other threats from inside and outside the galaxy in legends.
That ending part just simply just feels like something else is happening but there is peace for the meantime in other words this is
the calm before an even greater storm and in the end the Skywalkers are always destined to bring balance and the main Skywalker is the chosen one Anakin himself.
This part of galactic history is over but the threats to the Jedi, Republic and even the Galaxy as a whole are far from over.
Part 4 and beyond can exist within our imaginative minds
This is easily one of the best Channels for StarWars FanFictions out there & that’s a fact 🔥.

Definitely worth the wait. The voice actors and editing was very good and the ending left questions open while still feeling satisfying. What do Padme and Obi-Wan think of Anakin now? Is Palpatine alive? Is a much bigger destiny on the horizon for Maul? Those questions can be asked but this part still feels like an ending. Its kind of like Infinity War in that way where you want to know what happens next but you can see it as a conclusion.

Really enjoyed this from Maul, Mace and the clones voice acting to the conflict within Maul and his inner thoughts towards Sidious to Mace surviving and hunting down the chancellor (dude is my second favorite Jedi behind Anakin). I wish this could have been a Canon alternate timeline but I really loved and enjoyed this for what it is. Keep up the good work And I hope to see more of cool content like this!

I still think it's cool how padme only died because anakin went to the darkside and that was what he kept seeing. If he would have let mace do his thing she would have lived and they could have been a big ol happy family.
